An Aston Martin DB5 expected to fetch about $ 2.3 million in an auction to commemorate the 60th anniversary of James Bond.

The "Sixty Years of James Bond" auction is being conducted by Christie's and is due to start later this month. The last three 007 auctions run by the auction house raised almost $ 7.2 million. 

There are items commemorating each of the six actors to have played Bond, including Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan, and Daniel Craig. 

While costumes, boats and Bond-related getaways are up for grabs, the most eye-catching is a collection of classic cars, mostly from "No Time to Die", including Aston Martins, Jaguars, and Land Rovers. 

Bidders will need deep pockets to lump for the cars seen in the film, but there's also an exclusive model replica for the more frugal bidder.

Matthew Wright and Beverley Turned joined Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond on This Morning to discuss the latest headlines. One of the topics up for debate was vaccine passports and the guests had very different opinions on whether they should be required to go into pubs and restaurants. Things got so heated Dermot had to step in to cool things down.

Beverley began: “Matthew you can shake you head in your hands but unless you can tell me why what the evidence base is for this app, for this technological invasion into our lives, it is illogical.”

“Come on, the one thing that Beverley has completely missed out, a lot of what she has said I agree with but here’s what she missed out,” Matthew replied.

“The virus can mutate if the virus exits within a community. Later on we’re going to hear children are the number one area where the virus is flourishing at the minute. In India they now have a potential double mutation.

“When we have people mixing, vaccinated or not, but when the two groups come together there is a chance we increase the chance of mutation.

“That’s the reason why despite the fact I have had the jab and many other people have had the jab and the death rates are on the decline, the hospital admissions are on the decline, that is the reason why the government still has concerns.

“So that’s the reason we need passports, potentially, I think what we’ve really got is a lack of leadership. Boris basically said ‘Oh well we can leave it to the hostility industry blah blah blah, they can decide.’

“Actually what we need is one clear line of instruction to help the hospitality industry which I think has suffered more than most.”

“That’s the way forward and for me I think it would benefit the hospitality industry far more than just reducing all the restrictions we had in the past.”

Beverley interrupted: “We can do that anyway Matthew! We can do that anyway. If we have vaccinated the most vulnerable, we are talking about this wave from Europe that’s going to come over here with mutations, the wave in Europe is the Kent virus, we gave that to them.

“We don’t need to worry about it coming back here to reinfect us.

“We should have allowed all of the young people last summer to build a herd immunity so that they would be protected now.”

“Herd immunity without vaccination is the strongest survive,” Matthew shouted.

“You are literally saying, ‘Let weak people die.’”

Beverley snapped back: “We have vaccination! We have vaccination!”

“This is one of those moments where I really wish you were both on the couch so we could interrupt,” Dermot said stepping in to cool things down.

Power‘s LaKeisha may not be making the best choices this season — see also: ditching a murder weapon in the Hudson River — but, La La Anthony asks, who hasn’t done really stupid things for love?

“All she wants to do is prove to Tommy that she’s ride-or-die, and she’s in it until the end,” Anthony tells TVLine, “but I don’t think she really understands what that means until she’s so far in that you’ve just got to stay at that point.”

This Sunday’s episode (Starz, 8/7c) will find Cash’s mom continuing her education in the drug business, courtesy of boyfriend Tommy. And though Keisha might have an inkling of what Tommy does to keep her in designer purses and such, “she’s naive about it,” Anthony says. “She knows it’s a drug game, but she doesn’t know the ins and outs or the murders and different things that happen.” She refers to the scene in a previous season where Tasha asked her man if he’d ever killed anyone, and was relieved to hear him say no. (As we all know, Tommy was lying. A lot.)

“You see a lot of doubt,” Anthony adds, previewing episodes to come. “But then she pushes through it, because she ultimately just wants this happy family.”

Series boss Courtney Kemp observes that there’s a sharp, telling distinction between LaKeisha and her former bestie, Tasha — though a lot of people miss it.

“The characterization of Tasha as ride-or-die I always find really interesting, because she never was,” the EP says. When Ghost said he didn’t want to be a drug dealer anymore, for instance, “She’s like, ‘Shut up, move weight,’” Kemp says. “Everyone’s like, ‘Tasha’s his ride-or-die.’ I’m like, ‘No. To ride is like, ‘I don’t want to do this anymore’ and you’re like, ‘Cool, I got you.’ She was like, ‘Stay with the program. This is the program.’ LaKeisha is much more like, ‘OK, if this is the program, this is what I’m going to do… If I can help you, I’m staying.’”

But that degree of loyalty may have its price: Anthony hints that later on this season, Tasha will “a hundred percent” have to cross barriers that she’s set up for herself. “And then it’s interesting to see: How far will she go before she either goes too far or decides, ‘I can’t do this anymore?’”

Or, as Kemp succinctly warns: “The riding and the dying could both take place. Or not.”

The witness overheard a man repeatedly shouting “Why don’t you die?” while a toddler was crying. The spouse of the screaming man, however, was silent, which further fueled grim suspicions on what might have been happening in the apartment.

The scare prompted a response from numerous officers. Wanneroo Police then revealed what happened next, posting the responders’ log on Twitter, and deleting it later.

Instead of domestic violence, they found that a hot-blooded murder had taken place, as the man had bravely slain a home-invading arachnid. The shouting and loud death threats were caused by the man’s “serious fear of spiders.”

“No injuries sighted (except for spider). No further police involvement required,” the police log read. The size and type of the home-invader was also not disclosed.

Australia is not an easy place for an arachnophobe to live. It is home to a whole galaxy of spiders, including extremely venomous species – and extremely large ones, with some reaching leg spans of a whopping 30cm.

Frustratingly enough, the argument about whether or not the classic action thriller Die Hard is a Christmas movie is still going strong. A recent poll showed most people don’t think it qualifies for the holiday mantle, and we’ve had passionate discussions about it on /Film Daily, but now 20th Century Fox is making the push to have Die Hard entered into the Christmas canon by not only calling it the “greatest Christmas story ever told,” but by releasing a new holiday edition of the movie, and a trailer to really hit it home.

The trailer cuts the movie more like something akin to Home Alone. Even greater is that it brings back the use of Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy,” which, much like Die Hard, isn’t explicitly a Christmas song, but can easily be played during the holiday season and provides great joy to everyone.

If that’s not enough to push the Die Hard Christmas agenda, 20th Century Fox also delivered this poem:

Twas the night before Christmas, at Nakatomi Plaza,
The office party was festive, but soon interrupted by drama.
Hans Gruber and his men, had forced their way in,
And taken everyone hostage, trapping them within.
But how could they know, there was a cop up above,
John McClane had arrived, to win back his wife’s love.
