Kane and Son have scored 22 goals between them this season and, without them, Tottenham look short of goals, especially with Spaniard Fernando Llorente struggling for form.

“It was a clear foul on Harry Kane, a big hit, (referee) Mike Dean said he didn’t see it,” Pochettino said of Jones’ challenge.

“Kane twisted his ankle and we hope that it is not a big issue. My worry is that it was a bad tackle in the last moment.

It is no secret that Tesla’s Autopilot project is struggling. Last summer, we covered a report that Tesla was bleeding talent from its Autopilot division. Tesla Autopilot head Sterling Anderson quit Tesla at the end of 2016. His replacement was Chris Lattner, who had previously created the Swift programming language at Apple. But Lattner only lasted six months before departing last June.

Now Lattner’s replacement, Jim Keller, is leaving Tesla as well.

Keller was a well-known chip designer at AMD before he was recruited to lead Tesla’s hardware engineering efforts for Autopilot in 2016. Keller has been working to develop custom silicon for Autopilot, potentially replacing the Nvidia chips being used in today’s Tesla vehicles. When Lattner left Tesla last June, Keller was given broader authority over the Autopilot program as a whole.

LONDON — British department store House of Fraser is facing a battle for survival amid a funding crunch.

Sky News reported late on Friday that House of Fraser’s lenders have appointed accountants EY to advise the company on strategy. The Sunday Times then reported that the department store asked for an emergency £40 million loan from Alteri Investors, a fund that specialises in struggling retailers. The Telegraph reports that these talks collapsed because House of Fraser had already staked all of its core assets as collateral in other deals.

The NHL has suspended Ottawa Senators defenceman Fredrik Claesson two games, without pay, for an illegal check to the head of Boston Bruins forward Noel Acciari.

Claesson was given a five-minute major and a game misconduct for an illegal check in the opening period of Ottawa’s 5-1 loss at Boston on Wednesday.

The Swedish defenceman will forfeit $ 6,989.24 US in salary.

Claesson is eligible to return when Ottawa visits Detroit next Wednesday.

Playoffs a distant hope

After a decent start to the season the Senators (11-16-8) have gone into a free fall, and unless they make a dramatic turnaround they could be facing a very long second half.

Ottawa sits 15 points back of the Toronto Maple Leafs for third place in the Atlantic Division and 14 back of the New York Islanders for the final wild-card spot, making the playoffs a distant hope at best.

“It’s self-inflicted right now,” centre Nate Thompson said Thursday. “I think everything that’s happening to us right now is we’re doing to ourselves. There is a lot of season left and no one’s going to feel sorry for us.”

Veteran defenceman Dion Phaneuf said the Senators will have to find a way through the hole they have dug for themselves.

“Right now you can feel it, no one’s feeling very good. We’ve done that to ourselves; we’ve put ourselves in this position and we’re going to have to get ourselves out of it.

“Right now we’re in the position we’re at because we deserve to be where we’re at. We have not played well enough.”

Following thier loss to the Bruins the Senators have now lost three in a row and are an abysmal 3-13-3 since returning from its two-game series in Sweden on Nov. 11. No one can pinpoint exactly why things have been so difficult for the Senators the past seven weeks.

“Right now we’re fragile, that much is obvious,” said forward Bobby Ryan. “You’re giving up the first goal and you’re looking outward instead of inward sometimes and I think we’re all a little bit to blame in that regard. It’s not so much blaming the guy next to you, but it’s about getting down on yourself and not having the faith of making plays and not having faith in the system, not the system, but we’re covering for another mistake. You’re trying to overdo and it’s just making things worse and compounding problems and I think that’s where we’re at.”

The Senators are an offensive disaster this season. Ottawa has scored just 19 goals in its last ten games and been shutout three times.

Defensive disappointment 

Mark Stone, with 14 goals, is the lone Ottawa player to have more than 10.

Defensively things are just as disappointing. Goaltending was thought to be the least of the Senators concerns this season, but neither Craig Anderson nor Mike Condon has played very well or been able to show any consistency.

In his last 12 starts Anderson is 2-8-1 with a 3.50 goals-against-average and a .886 save percentage.

While Anderson is far from his best, he hasn’t exactly been getting much support.

The Senators are getting lit up this season as they’ve given up five or more goals ten times already whereas last season it happened a total of 11 times, they’ve allowed four or more goals 14 times.

“The reality is we haven’t played well enough defensively,” Phaneuf said. “When you’re not playing well enough defensively you’re giving up too much and it makes it tough to come from behind and to chase the game and we’ve been chasing the game a lot lately.”

Many hard-core Star Wars fans enjoy dressing up as their favorite characters in a pastime known as “cosplay.” They have a kindred spirit in Nissan, which is pretty obsessed with the sci-fi franchise. The company already has placed a Rogue in a Star Wars–inspired movie scene for a TV ad, launched a Star Wars–themed Rogue special edition, and put an X-Wing fighter costume on the Rogue earlier this year. For the Los Angeles auto show, more Nissan models got to join the fun as the brand trotted out seven vehicles decked out in full Star Wars regalia.

This time, the concepts were dreamed up by the team from Lucasfilm, an outgrowth of the studio’s marketing partnership with the Japanese automaker. They bear the names of the Star Wars characters or vehicles that inspired them. The otherworldly Nissans include this 2018 Nissan Rogue, labeled Poe Dameron’s X-Wing with BB-8:

Besides their appearances at various auto shows, the AT-M6 Titan, Kylo Ren’s TIE Silencer Maxima, and Poe Dameron’s X-Wing with BB-8 Rogue also appear in Nissan’s in-dealership augmented-reality app, which lets shoppers see virtual demonstrations of vehicle technologies on a tablet as seen below.

Will any of the concepts realize their maker’s true dream: an on-screen appearance in a Star Wars film? We’ll have to wait until the premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, on December 15, to find out.

Uber has logged another quarter of record-breaking losses, losing $ 1.5 billion in the third quarter of 2017. For comparison, Uber lost $ 2.8 billion in all of 2016 and lost $ 1.1 billion in the second quarter of 2017.

The worsening financial picture is not a surprise. Founder and ex-CEO Travis Kalanick resigned in June, leaving the company leaderless for much of the third quarter. Uber’s legal battle with Waymo has not been going well for Uber, and Uber is facing up to three federal investigations into the company’s practices.

Uber’s money-losing business continues to grow, with gross bookings rising from $ 8.7 billion in the second quarter to $ 9.7 billion in the third quarter.
