This Morning presenters Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond kicked things off rather strangely on Friday morning’s edition as the former was strapped lengthways in a box, while his co-star announced she would be sawing him in half. Of course, Alison soon confirmed she would not be carrying out the famous trick as they cut to Debbie McGee, who was on-hand to provide some insight into the illusion as well as her time in the Magic Circle. However, as she spoke, viewers were distracted by a portrait in the background.

Debbie was excited to talk about a special event being held by the Magic Circle on Sunday night, which members of the public could access on Facebook.

As Debbie got on with the discussion, some were left questioning a portrait in the background of the shot.

One shared: “What’s that thing peeking out behind her? #ThisMorning,’ with another replying: “It looks creepy.”

A third said: “Think #DebbieMcGee is also embracing the trend as she’s got a portrait of herself peeking at the camera from the background #thismorning.”

Speaking proudly of the position, she added: “It’s nice to hear about good things in these really tough times.”

It comes after Debbie had to recently brush of speculation she may be involved with ITV show, The Masked Singer.

Before being revealed as Mel B, many fans of the programme believed it could be Debbie behind the Seahorse costume.

She explained she had been inundated with messages when the character was on-air in week two of the competition.

On Twitter, she shared: “That was so funny. My phone went mad with messages from friends asking, ‘Is it you?'”

She added: “I am hooked on @MaskedSingerFOX.”

The star soon corrected her mistake at tagging the wrong show account.

Debbie later clarified to her followers: “Ooops meant @MaskedSingerUK.”

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.

Delighted Debbie, 61 – who was a finalist on the main show in 2017 – said of last night’s triumph: “I wasn’t expecting it! It’s just amazing but you know, everybody has been fantastic. I think it’s everybody’s, because we all had a great time, everyone did such great dances.”

Debbie – who lost magician husband Paul three years ago – was up against fellow ex-contestants including Holby City actress Chizzy Akudolu and former Emmerdale star Gemma Atkinson, who danced with boyfriend pro Gorka Marquez.

Social media favourite Joe Sugg also teamed up with his pro beau Dianne Buswell. DJ Mark Wright and Good Morning Britain presenter Richard Arnold completed the line-up.

The show was hosted as usual by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman with Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Bruno Tonioli and Shirley Ballas judging.

It opened with a group performance by the pros filmed at Leeds Castle, Kent.

Each couple then took to the floor for their own routines before the studio audience voted for their favourite and their tallies were combined with the judges’ scores.

Debbie and Kevin – who won the 2018 series with his now-girlfriend Stacey Dooley – lifted the Strictly Silver Star.

Liam Payne also appeared to sing his track All I Want For Christmas.

Debbie has long been an accomplished dancer.

In 2000, she and Paul set up touring company Ballet Imaginaire.

Emmerdale spoilers: Debbie Dingle’s return sealed as Sarah Sugden hides pregnancy secret? https://briefnews.eu/emmerdale-spoilers-debbie-dingles-return-sealed-as-sarah-sugden-hides-pregnancy-secret/ https://briefnews.eu/emmerdale-spoilers-debbie-dingles-return-sealed-as-sarah-sugden-hides-pregnancy-secret/#respond Sat, 16 Nov 2019 12:51:15 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/emmerdale-spoilers-debbie-dingles-return-sealed-as-sarah-sugden-hides-pregnancy-secret/

Debbie (played by Charley Webb) left Emmerdale earlier this year in a move to Scotland after the late Lisa Dingle (Jane Cox) ensured the deeds to a garage in the highlands was left in her niece’s name. Making her exit from the ITV soap, the mother-of-two entrusted Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) to care for Sarah (Katie Hill), but the teenager’s behaviour could lead the car mechanic to return to the village as the school girl could discover she is expecting a baby in upcoming scenes.

History could be set to repeat itself as the youngster was conceived in an underage storyline back in 2005 when her mother fell pregnant after a dalliance with farmer Andy Sugden (Kelvin Fletcher).

The suspicion comes after last night’s instalment of the Yorkshire based drama revealed Sarah was romantically involved with newcomer Danny (Louis Healy).

As the chemistry built between the pair, they shared a kiss and it’s already been teased the school girl will become embroiled in her young lover’s reckless antics.

As the teenagers continue to spend more time together, could they take their relationship to the next level leaving Debbie’s daughter pregnant?

After the pair met in the village graveyard, the school girl voiced her frustrations about Charity to her friend.

Following an altercation with her grandmother earlier in the episode, the youngster said: “If you saw what she was really like she’d scare you off.”

Danny replied: “No chance. It’s you I’ve come to see. Not your gran,” leaving Sarah blushing over the compliment.

The smooth talking school boy then kissed his young lover and could go on to persuade her to spend more time with him as her family continues to tear each other apart, leading them to sleep together.

If this is the plot which sees the soap favourite make her comeback, will Sarah open up to her mother knowing she went through the same situation?

Will the car mechanic be supportive of the youngster if she were to keep the baby, or would she tell her daughter to get a termination?

Debbie’s exit back in August was to tie in with actress Charley, 31, taking a break from filming for maternity leave.

With the Dingle clan is so much turmoil at the moment, the character’s return could be needed a lot sooner than expected.

Not only would Sarah possibly being pregnant blow Debbie’s mind, she would also have several other revelations to uncover.

Having left the village with a number of siblings, the mechanic will discover her father Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) had another child years ago.

Following an affair with Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb), Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) told his father he was his long-lost son.

How will the young mother cope with her family expanding?

Emmerdale spoilers: Debbie Dingle’s dramatic exit revealed as she reunites with Joe Tate? https://briefnews.eu/emmerdale-spoilers-debbie-dingles-dramatic-exit-revealed-as-she-reunites-with-joe-tate/ https://briefnews.eu/emmerdale-spoilers-debbie-dingles-dramatic-exit-revealed-as-she-reunites-with-joe-tate/#respond Thu, 28 Mar 2019 09:43:33 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/emmerdale-spoilers-debbie-dingles-dramatic-exit-revealed-as-she-reunites-with-joe-tate/

Debbie was devastated when she thought Joe Tate (played by Ned Porteous) was dead on ITV soap Emmerdale.

While he did at first appear to have been killed off it transpired he had actually gone into hiding in Monte Carlo.

It looked like Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) had done away with Joe but really he was just helping his friend make his escape.

Now, fans think Debbie will be leaving to meet up with Joe in the future.

Could she leave her family behind to pursue her love?

One fan has guessed on Twitter: “At one point Debbie will meet up again with Joe.”

“Debbie Gets tickets for the Monaco F1 from a client at the Garage? Then who does she bump into? JOE 🙂 just a thawt #emmerdale,” another theorised.

A third shared: “I’m telling y’all – Debbie will conveniently not care about Sarah’s health again, dump the kids with family, and go chasing after Joe. He’ll then be killed in a freak yachting accident on the French Riviera and she’ll come back.”

“I’m thinking Debbie has known all along that Joe was alive and had to pretend she didn’t,” a fourth suggested.

It doesn’t look as though Joe will ever be coming back to the village so it would make sense that Debbie would go to him.

Ned won’t be making a full return to the soap any time soon.

A source told The Sun: “Ned just filmed a few scenes, it’s not like he’ll be back in the soap full-time,” says the insider.

“Joe won’t be returning to the village. Ned is still determined to crack the US and has been auditioning for roles in Hollywood.”

Graham star Andrew has revealed the truth behind why the character was so devastated when Joe left when he knew he was alive all along.

The actor revealed: ”The reason why Graham was very upset when Joe seemingly died is because he knew then that he would never see Joe again.”

Debbie’s departure comes as actress Charley is pregnant with her third child with fellow Emmerdale actor Matthew Wolfenden.

The pair already have two sons and will be expanding their brood later this year.

She spilled her happy news in an Instagram photo earlier this year featuring herself, Matthew and sons Buster and Bowie.

The family were joined by a sign that read “Buster, Bowie and…” while she captioned the snap “#Number3”.

Emmerdale continues tonight at 7pm on ITV.

Emmerdale actress Charley Webb, who plays Debbie Dingle on the ITV soap recently announced she was pregnant.

It is her third child with fellow actor Matthew Wolfenden, who plays David Metcalfe.

Whilst she has not revealed how many months pregnant she is, fans are thinking about how her character is going to temporarily exit.

Here are five possible ways the mechanic could depart the village in the next few months.

Joe Tate is alive

Viewers still don’t know whether Joe Tate (played by Ned Porteous) is alive or dead following his mysterious disappearance last October at the Masquerade Ball.

After Kim Tate (Claire King) arrived back, she ordered Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) to get rid of the young businessman and scenes showed him being offered a large sum of money to run and never return.

However, it was the day of his wedding to Debbie and he felt he couldn’t leave without telling her what was going on. As he returned to Home Farm he bumped into Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and the two got into a fight which resulted in Joe falling to the floor and being pronounced dead.

But what if he isn’t dead? With his fingers twitching and no official body seen, there is the possibility he was given the chance to escape by Graham.

And next week, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) is going to receive a phone call. Could this be Joe calling to find out how Debbie is?

After all, the mother and daughter have developed a close bond with one another and with Debbie recently expressing her interest to leave the village, could Charity help her escape into the arms of Joe?

Emmerdale spoilers: Debbie and Joe were going to get married (Image: ITV)

Cain goes to prison

Should Joe actually be dead and the police find the body, it seems Cain will be the culprit and go down for murder.

Panicked, Debbie reported Joe as a missing person and the police opened an investigation.

In more recent scenes they questioned Graham and Cain over Joe’s last movements and their involvement in his life.

Cain confessed to seeing and speaking to Joe the day he went ‘missing’ and Graham then had to corroborate his story in accordance.

Whilst the two men were initially on the same side, things turned sinister for Cain when the businessman planted Joe’s watch covered in blood in his garage.

Ringing the police anonymously, he tipped them off about the evidence and they searched the garage with a warrant.

If Graham continues to plant evidence linking Cain to Joe’s body, could the police wrongly accuse him of being the murderer?

Thus in turn, Debbie feeling wholly responsible for her father being sent to prison could leave the village in shame.

Emmerdale spoilers: Cain and Graham are now enemies (Image: ITV)

Threatened by Graham

However, there is also the possibility of Debbie finding out Graham’s true involvement in Joe’s death.

Whilst she recently learnt about Cain accidentally punching Joe, she doesn’t know about Graham packing him into his car boot and potentially digging his grave.

Many fans are convinced Cain did not kill Joe with his punch due to the fact Graham was the one to check Joe’s pulse and announce him dead. What if he was lying to frame Cain?

To add to this, Joe’s finger’s twitched when he was lifted into Graham’s car, suggesting he was unconscious and not dead.

Scenes following suggested Graham finished Joe off and buried him, if this is the case and Debbie finds out he actually killed Joe for definite, she is understandably going to be furious.

But, if the businessman has the ability to kill Joe, he could threaten to do the same to Debbie should she tell the police the truth.

In a major twist, Debbie could demand the money Graham initially promised Joe so she can disappear from the village and lay low whilst the storm blows over.

How would you like Debbie to exit?

Kim Tate returns

The iconic villain is returning for good in upcoming weeks as she reprises her role of head of Home Farm.

She demanded the removal of Joe during her brief return in October and she could soon do the same to Debbie if she starts digging around for information.

When Kim came back last year she was at loggerheads with Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter) which ended in her being pushed from the balcony.

Having already made enemies with a few Dingle women, it’s no surprise Debbie isn’t her biggest fan.

But Kim could quickly set her up. Debbie has a history with getting drawn into dodgy business deals.

Therefore, there is a strong possibility she could draw a deal with Kim and in turn get stitched up and sent to jail.

Having escaped a prison sentence for the acid attack on Ross Barton (Michael Parr), this could be justice in a round about way.

Sarah’s illness

Sarah Sugden (Katie Moore) has been Debbie’s main priority since she returned to the village and her health has been a paramount problem for them both.

After being diagnosed with heart failure, viewers saw her wait for a transplant, which after a considerably long time she successfully underwent.

Last week, Sarah faked a fever to get Debbie to come home from a job interview in Aberdeen.

In a scene which she shared with Cain, Sally, Charity and Lydia Hart (Karen Blick), viewers heard the consequences a small fever could have on Sarah.

However, should she get ill again, Debbie would do everything in her power to make sure she’s OK.

Could this mean they leave the village to go and seek medical help elsewhere? And does this life or death matter mean Sarah’s dad Andy Sugden (Kelvin Fletcher) will return?

Strictly Come Dancing 2017 runner-up Debbie McGee  appeared in the BBC audience tonight.

The 60-year-old was partnered with Giovanni Pernice last year and the pair did well.

Debbie looked radiant in a shimmery number as she excitedly waited to watch all of the performances.

The former dancer appeared in a floor-length navy blue gown which had plenty of sparkles on to match the glamour of Strictly.

Fans were thrilled to see Debbie back on screens after getting all the way to the final last year.

One wrote: “Ugh yes cameraman keep showing queen Debbie.”

Another added: “The Lovely Debbie McGee is in the audience!”

A third shared: “My youngest keeps shouting “Debbie McGee”. Can she dance please!”

Debbie told her Twitter followers about her exciting time at Strictly Come Dancing earlier today.

She met Giovanni’s current partner, Faye Tozer, and wished the pair the best of luck.

Debbie posted: “So excited to be at Elstree to watch my @bbcstrictly family and meet the new Strictly 2018 family.”

She went on: “I am over the moon to meet the gorgeous @Faye_Tozer so looking forward to watching her & @pernicegiovann1 dance their Tango Go guys go.”

But Faye and Giovanni will perform a Tango this evening to Call Me by Blondie.

She will face tough competition from current favourite, Stacey Dooley, however.

The presenter is taking on a Street and Commercial routine to Empire State of Mind (Part II) by Alicia Keys.

Stacey is the current favourite to lift the Glitterball trophy on Strictly Come Dancing.

Along with Kevin Clifton, the pair have shown great improvement throughout.

The other high-scorer is Ashley Roberts and Pasha Kovalev who topped the leaderboard this week.

They bagged 39 for their cute Trollz-themed Charleston.

Strictly Come Dancing continues tomorrow on BBC One at 7.50pm.

Emmerdale spoilers: Kim Tate WILL return but is Debbie Dingle in danger? https://briefnews.eu/emmerdale-spoilers-kim-tate-will-return-but-is-debbie-dingle-in-danger/ https://briefnews.eu/emmerdale-spoilers-kim-tate-will-return-but-is-debbie-dingle-in-danger/#respond Sat, 13 Oct 2018 10:32:17 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/emmerdale-spoilers-kim-tate-will-return-but-is-debbie-dingle-in-danger/

This week, Emmerdale viewers have seen Kim Tate (played by Claire King) return to the village and wreak havoc at the masquerade ball.

Final scenes of last night’s episode saw the iconic villain arrested and taken back to prison after breaking her probation.

And whilst some may think this is the last they will see of Kim, the soap has confirmed the “super b***h” will be back for good in the new year.

But could Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) be in danger?

After ordering Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) to get rid of Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) permanently, her attentions could soon turn to Debbie on her return.

Joe jitled Debbie at the altar earlier this week and following his sudden disappearance, Debbie could soon find herself trying to hunt him down for an explanation.

Especially if her daughter, Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) has anything to do with it.

But, will her suspicions and contstant interrogation rile Kim?

Speaking on her definite return to the ITV soap, actress Claire said: “You knew she wasn’t going to go away quietly, so I’m pleased to announce Kim will be back.

“It’s been great fun keeping it under wraps but now she can really get down to business!”

Executive Producer, Jane Hudson also added: “Although Kim’s initial return was fleeting, she caused such mischief and chaos that we simply couldn’t resist bring her back.

“Kim Tate is just getting warmed up for an explosive 2019 which will see her hell-bent on getting exactly what, and who, she wants.”

Whilst Kim returns to prison, will the police find out it was in fact Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter) who pushed her off the balcony?

Elsewhere, fans are still wondering whether Joe Tate really is dead.

It comes after Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) had punched him and knocked him out cold, when Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) then pronounced him dead.

As Joe was bundled into the boot of Graham’s car, viewers saw Joe’s hand twitch.

Graham then drove off to an unknown location, and seemingly disposed of Joe, before sitting in his car and sobbing.

Was Joe still alive and did Graham finish him off for good?

It comes after the soap released a short clip on their Twitter account, with actor Ned who discussed the scenes he played alongside Andrew.

“Hey guys, it’s Ned Porteous here, at Home Farm, for what could be the last time,” the actor began.

“Starting working with Andy Scarborough, was amazing…and I really truly hope I get to work with him again in the future.

“I just want to thank everyone for their viewing and support and for now, I guess it’s see you later!”

Could the actor have confirmed his exit and Joe’s death?

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV.

Emmerdale spoilers: Debbie Dingle in DANGER after shocking Joe Tate twist? https://briefnews.eu/emmerdale-spoilers-debbie-dingle-in-danger-after-shocking-joe-tate-twist/ https://briefnews.eu/emmerdale-spoilers-debbie-dingle-in-danger-after-shocking-joe-tate-twist/#respond Wed, 10 Oct 2018 23:09:11 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/emmerdale-spoilers-debbie-dingle-in-danger-after-shocking-joe-tate-twist/

Emmerdale is airing one of its biggest weeks ever on the ITV soap.

Bosses brought back bad girl Kim Tate (played by Claire King) for the occasion and she has certainly been causing trouble.

So far, she has told Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) she wants to see Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) dead.

However, Graham is faithful to his friend, and instead gave him £100,000 to leave Emmerdale.

After being warned by Graham to get out while he is still alive, Joe went on his way.

But naturally, he didn’t get chance to tell fiancée Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) where he was going.

And with their wedding just weeks away, the bombshell will surely think she’s been jilted.

However, one fan on Twitter has wondered if Debbie’s problems have only just begun.

They wondered if Joe will make a surprising return to Emmerdale in order to tell his love he hasn’t left her.

And after that, she would surely be angry and go on the hunt for Kim.

However, many know Kim is dangerous company to keep and surely crossing her would be her downfall.

But the fan thinks Debbie will be shot in the crossfire, as Graham arrives to silence his partner.

Will the theory play out? Or will Kim take another victim?

Some believe Kim Tate will be murdered as a character returns from the dead for revenge.

With Joe supposedly dead in her mind, the last person Kim would expect to see back in Emmerdale would be the man himself.

But some think that’s exactly what will happen.

With Graham faking Joe’s death, it would certainly get her off his back.

And in the coming weeks, the shock return of Joe could bring about the death of Kim.

One fan desperately pleased: “I hope Joe comes back and he and Graham kill him.”

But will fans get what they want?

Emmerdale continues tonight on ITV at 7pm.

Emmerdale fans tuned in to the latest instalment of the soap earlier this evening and were left wondering whether Graham Foster (played by Andrew Scarborough) would be returning to the soap soon.

It came after Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) returned to Debbie Dingle’s (Charley Webb) house with a bruised face and cut lip, and she instantly wanted to know what had happened.

“So, come on spill,” she asked, and Joe replied with just one word: “Graham.”

Unconvinced by what she was hearing, Debbie asked Joe to clarify and said: “Did that? How?”

“You don’t want to see Graham drunk. He’s got issues, things that he’s never quite sorted.”

But Debbie stuck up for Graham and remarked: “Joe, he needs help.”

“Which I was trying to offer him before he turned on me,” Joe began, “So, I said good riddance.”

However, Debbie tried to reason with her boyfriend further and stated: “Joe we both know that you need Graham.”

Could Debbie be the voice of reason and convince Joe to go and see Graham and patch things up with him?

And would Graham coming back mean Debbie has got rid of Priya Sharma (Fiona Wade) for good?

It comes after Joe revealed since Graham leaving he has filled his position by hiring Priya, something which Debbie was not best pleased about.

And Graham’s disappearance follows him experiencing several drunken flashbacks to the night he killed his wife and unborn child ten years ago.

Itching for a fight, Graham tried provoking several villagers in the Woolpack before being thrown out, to which Joe then went looking for him.

After Joe tracked him down and talked sense into the man, the situation turned sinister.

Emmerdale fans saw Graham snap and thrown Joe on the ground and then proceeded to punch him furiously.

Joe was left bleeding and seemingly unconscious by the roadside, however, Joe just about managed to get himself up off the ground.

“You’re like a son to me,” Graham pleaded with Joe, and he replied sombrely: “That’s why it’s so difficult because I saw you as a father.”

As Graham tried to apologise for his actions, Joe insisted he would never forget his behaviour.

“Get away from me,” Joe shouted, and added: “I can’t trust you anymore.”

Graham then suggested checking himself into rehab and Joe replied: “When you leave the clinic I don’t want you to come back.

“I’m sorry Graham, I’ve made up my mind. I can’t get over this. I don’t ever want to see you again.”

Is this the end for Graham and Joe and does this suggest Graham’s departure from the soap?

Emmerdale returns Monday at 7pm on ITV.

Emmerdale spoilers: Debbie Dingle fears for Sarah as SHOCK illness threatens her life https://briefnews.eu/emmerdale-spoilers-debbie-dingle-fears-for-sarah-as-shock-illness-threatens-her-life/ https://briefnews.eu/emmerdale-spoilers-debbie-dingle-fears-for-sarah-as-shock-illness-threatens-her-life/#respond Fri, 15 Jun 2018 06:00:56 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/emmerdale-spoilers-debbie-dingle-fears-for-sarah-as-shock-illness-threatens-her-life/

Debbie Dingle (played by Charley Webb) was heartbroken when she discovered her daughter Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) needed a heart transplant in last night’s episode of Emmerdale.

Alarm bells started ringing when Sarah was caught by the police for joyriding with Leanna, Jacob and Noah, as she failed to escape due to being short of breath.

The youngster also showed signs of being unwell when she was questioned by police at the station, where she blurted out her mum’s involvement in the acid attack on Ross Barton (Michael Parr).

Later when policemen arrived at Debbie’s house, Sarah was seen grasping for air before collapsing as the cops walked in.

The teen was rushed to hospital where Debbie was told her heart could be failing and her illness may have been brought on by her chemotherapy.

Sarah was diagnosed with the life-limiting condition Falconi Anaemia in 2011 and fought cancer last year.

Life-changing surgery may be the only way to save her.

“Sarah is quite shocked, obviously, there was talk of there being a problem as the days went on, but then obviously there was this huge shock of her actually needing a heart transplant,” Charley told What’s on TV.

“She’s a bit emotional about it, she takes it out on Debbie at first, but she does deal with it really well.”

Charley, 30, also spoke about her on-screen character’s surprise at learning Sarah is ill again.

She said: “Debbie is shocked; at first she thought the cancer was back and obviously the relief was huge when she knew it wasn’t.

“But then the news that she needs a transplant isn’t great. Obviously for any parent to have a child who is so ill is terrible.”

When asked about Sarah telling the police about Debbie’s involvement in the acid attack on Ross, she replied: “I think she accepts it. She doesn’t shout at her, she says it’s fine.”

She added: “I think Sarah is a bit confused in terms of what Debbie was actually involved in.

“She thinks at times that Debbie paid for it to happen, which wasn’t the case. So she calms down when she realises the actual truth and realises it was a tragic accident.”

After Sarah’s shock confession, Debbie may be forced to defend herself in court while her daughter struggles to stay alive.

Will she find herself inside of a prison cell during Sarah’s illness, or could ex-lover Joseph Tate (Ned Porteous) donate a lawyer to help her case?

Charley, a mother-of-two, also praised her co-star Katie, with her saying: “I think she’s amazing; she’s so talented.

“She spends a lot of time at my house with my children.”
