Just Dance 2023 is due to hit PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch on November 22nd. It’ll come to Google Stadia at a later date.
This marks the first time in Just Dance history that players will be able to get down with friends live and online. The new Online Groups feature in Just Dance 2023 allows players to team up with people they know or other folks around the world, and it has an emoji communication system. The game supports cross-platform play. And, of course, there’s always local multiplayer for in-person dance-offs.

Just Dance 2023 will include 40 new universes and songs at launch, including “Physical” by Dua Lipa and “More” by K/DA. With a focus on transitioning Just Dance into a live service, rather than a series of discrete titles, Ubisoft will likely have a regular cadence of new material to drop on its dancers post-launch, so don’t stress too much about the track list for now.

Rapper Lil Nas X made his Saturday Night Live “debut” this week (by way of Chris Redd) in a cold open that also featured Britney Spears, cancelled Looney Tunes character Pepé Le Pew and disgraced Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz. Because why not.
It was all part of Oops, You Did It Again, a recurring sketch in which Spears (played to perfection by Chloe Fineman) shines a light on the week’s biggest pariahs. She also called out Selling Sunset‘s Chrishell Stause — though not by name — for claiming that Spears doesn’t write her own social media posts, before thanking this week’s sponsor: Georgia, “voted best place… not to vote.”
Lil Nas X (played by Redd) was the first guest in the hot seat, as Spears grilled him about giving the Devil a lap dance in his new music video, as well as releasing a controversial line of Satan shoes. “I don’t know why Nike is so mad,” the rapper said. “Their slogan is ‘Just do it.’ Well, I did it!”
Spears, naturally, determined that the only way to even things out was for the rapper to give God a lap dance — which he did, though he reminded the audience that it was actually his friend Gary (played by Mikey Day) dressed up like God. You know, just in case you were confused. (Meanwhile, the real Lil Nas X tweeted, “snl going to hell.”)

The second guest was Kate McKinnon as Pépe Le Pew, who proved that he’s a changed skunk by greeting Spears with a handshake, rather than the usual unwanted kiss. After insisting that he has no hard feelings about being taken out of the new Space Jam movie, the cancelled Looney Tune insisted, “I’m an actor. The part you see me play on TV and in the movies, that is not me.” Fair enough.
Then came the true guest of dishonor: Davidson as Gaetz (with a strong dash of Quagmire from Family Guy). The hostess ran through all of the recent sexual misconduct allegations brought against Gaetz — including that he allegedly dated a 17-year-old girl who he took across state lines, and that he allegedly showed his Republican co-workers inappropriate pictures of the women that he slept with — before telling him, “I think I can smell a predator when I see one. After all, I was on The Mickey Mouse Club.”

Saturday’s episode welcomed actor Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out, Judas and the Black Messiah) as a first-time host, while St. Vincent returned to Studio 8H as a musical guest for the second time; she first appeared on SNL for the Andy Samberg-hosted Season 39 finale in 2014. Pepe sprays him.
Next week’s Saturday Night Live will be hosted by actress Carey Mulligan (Promising Young Woman), with Kid Cudi serving as the show’s musical guest. That episode will mark both Mulligan and Cudi’s SNL debut.

“He’s doing more than shuffling around, he really researches the dances,” Craig slammed.
“He works hours and hours on end. He has been able to lay his dance hand on any style he has been given.”
Turning his attention to Ranvir, Craig shared: “Ravir and that dreadful Jive she did, it wasn’t good at all.”
“Hang on, you can’t come on Good Morning Britain and trash us,” Piers snapped.

Strictly Come Dancing has become a British institution and something fans of the BBC dance show look forward to each and every Autumn. Craig Revel Horwood, 55, is just one of the judges of the panel, critiquing a whole plethora of celebrity talent from all corners of the star-studded world. With the coronavirus crisis bringing the world to a halt in recent months, bosses were working hard to try and come up with a way the programme could still go ahead, whilst adhering to social distancing rules. However, with the rumour mill still in overdrive whether production has been given the green light, the Australian theatre star has now confirmed the news viewers have been waiting for.
Production on some of Britain’s most beloved television shows are just starting to get up and running again after the government gave the green light for filming to resume.
The Saturday night entertainment programme is not set to air until at least September, meaning there is still some time before viewers get to see celebrities don flamboyant clothes and strut their stuff on the dance floor.
With this in mind and appearing on today’s edition of Loose Women, Craig explained the annual extravaganza is still going ahead.
Though the format may be slightly different from what viewers are used to as stars of the show will be adhering to social distancing measures.
Craig told the ITV panel show presenters: “I’m looking forward to the show because it’s going to be a completely different creative look at it.
“I think when you’re pushed into corners, like having two-metre rules and all of that, I think it will make some wonderful TV.
“So, it’s going to be interesting and it’s going to be fantastic and I’m super excited because it’s going ahead, finally,” he added.
The judge also mentioned the 2020 season could see the show’s first same-sex couple after reports emerged this too could be scrapped this year.
It seems bosses have fought back against the programme being axed altogether, which has been at the centre of much debate since the coronavirus crisis hit back in March.
Craig and his fellow judges, Shirley Ballas, 59, and Motsi Mabuse, 39, have all been voicing their hopes the programme would return in some format for the past three months.
At the moment, it is unknown whether Bruno Tonioli, 64, will be joining the panel, due to his commitments to Dancing With The Stars in America.
Until the new season gets underway, there is still a treat for viewers as three special episodes have been commissioned.

Filmed during the lockdown, hosts Tess Daly, 51, and Claudia Winkleman, 48, will be taking a look back through the archives to relive some of the show’s most memorable moments.
Controller of BBC Entertainment, Kate Phillips said: “Strictly Come Dancing has produced so many magical and memorable moments in the movie, musical and Blackpool weeks.
“The three special episodes will look back and celebrate these, bringing some much needed Strictly sparkle to the nation.”
There is no official word on when the episodes will air, but the rumour mill is still rife as to who could be joining this year’s all-star cast.
One such television veteran punters seem to have their eyes on signing up is This Morning star Eamonn Holmes, 60, whose wife Ruth Langsford, 60, took part in 2017.
Coral bookmakers have the presenter at 2-1 to be unveiled as a member of this year’s cast list, with his chances having previously been at 3-1.
Although, his odds of winning are quite scarce, as he stands at 33-1 to walk away with the Glitterball Trophy.
“Eamonn’s wife Ruth took part in Strictly in 2017 and we think he could follow in her footsteps later this year,” Coral spokesperson John Hill said.
Strictly Come Dancing returns later this year on BBC One.
World of Dance is shaking up its format: The NBC competition series returned for Season 4 on Tuesday with a couple of tweaks.
In the first Qualifiers episode, the contestants think they’re about to audition one final time for producers in a warehouse, but when they step through the door, they’re greeted by judges Jennifer Lopez, Derek Hough and Ne-Yo. Instead of making their debut before the trio and viewers on the World of Dance stage, the dancers must now perform under pressure and earn their way onto the stage. And since they had no idea they were about to dance for the judges, that means we have to watch every act’s shocked reaction upon seeing the trio. (By the third performance, I was kinda wishing they’d broken the “Surprise! J.Lo, Derek and Ne-Yo are here!” news to the all the dancers at once.)
Also new this go-around: Instead of scores, the dancers need at least two “yes” votes to continue to the duels. And should the judges be undecided, they can give the dancers a callback to see what else they’ve got before determining if they should continue on in the competition.
Now let’s briefly rundown the first six performers to be stunned by J.Lo’s presence:
* Before we get to Colombian salsa duo Jefferson y Adrianita’s moves, let’s take a moment to absorb the fact that the couple named their baby boy Derek, after Derek Hough. Adult Derek is speechless — but not speechless enough not to give the pair some constructive feedback. J.Lo notes that their footwork needs to be faster, but they still get three “yes” votes.
* Vancouver-based youth hip-hop group GRVMNT ends their performance to what feels like tortuously long awkward silence from the judges. Still, they show enough promise that J.Lo says “yes,” while Ne-Yo and Derek give them a callback.
* Contemporary duo Jake & Chau easily earn their way to the next round with their elegant transitions. These two appear to be ones to watch.
* The first “ouch” of the season comes when The Williams Fam, a hip-hop brothers act, fails to get a single “yes” with their social-media influencer moves. But hey, at least Derek records a TikTok with them as a parting gift.
* Hip-hop duo Bailey & Kida have only been dancing together for a few weeks — and it shows in their lack of connection. However, both are so skilled as individual performers that all three judges move them along to the duels.
* And finally, there’s 9-year-old jazz dancer Savannah Manzel, who so blinds the judges with her big smile that they shower her with praise before voting her to the next round. Yes, her strength and agility are impressive, but without a certain beyond-her-years maturity and musicality, I’m worried she won’t make it far.

NBC has set one premiere date for two of its summertime staples, America’s Got Talent and World of Dance.
AGT Season 15 — which adds Modern Family‘s Sofia Vergara as a judge and welcomes Heidi Klum back to the dais (alongside Simon Cowell and Howie Mandel) — will have a two-hour premiere on Tuesday, May 26 starting at 8/7c. Terry Crews returns as host.
“At a time when families are unable to go out, we really hope the new season will bring some much-needed joy and escape,” Cowell, who is also an AGT EP, said in a statement.
AGT had filmed part of its season at the time Hollywood shut down production amid the coronavirus pandemic.
World of Dance — which will have been off the air for over a year but completed production on all of Season 4 — will also return on May 26, at 10 pm. The dance competition’s judging panel is once again led by Jennifer Lopez, Derek Hough and NE-YO, while Scott Evans returns as host.
Says exec producer Lopez, “On our show we always say that dance is the universal language. It brings us all together, which I think is something we all need during these challenging times.”

What up with that? Jason Sudeikis’ ebullient backup dancer, that’s what.
NBC’s Saturday Night Live returned this weekend with its second “At Home” edition of the pandemic, having first attempted socially distanced sketch comedy on April 11.
In one of the most ambitious remotely recorded bits thus far, Kenan Thompson reprised his role as Diondre Cole, host of the BET talk show “What Up With That?” But rather than simply go it alone, Diondre was joined by all the usual suspects, including Sudeikis’ tracksuit-wearing dancer, Fred Armisen’s saxophonist and backup singers Ego Nwodim an Melissa Villasenor — each of whom appeared in their own window without missing a frenetic beat.
For good measure, there were also cameos by a puzzled Charles Barkley and DJ Khaled. Watch the full video above.
It’s been more than seven years since SNL‘s last “What Up With That” sketch, which aired on December 15, 2012 and featured talk show guests Martin Short, Samuel L. Jackson and Carrie Brownstein.
The inaugural SNL at Home averaged 6.7 million total viewers and a 1.46 rating, placing second for the season behind Eddie Murphy’s Dec. 21 hosting turn (which drew just shy of 10 mil along with a 2.5 rating). That time around, recuperating COVID-19 patient Tom Hanks served as surprise host, Alec Baldwin called into Weekend Update as President Trump, and Bernie Sanders recorded from home a video as former presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.

Strictly Come Dancing said goodbye to Michelle Visage and Giovanni Pernice on Sunday night after they were eliminated from the competition following a dance off against Saffron Barker and AJ Pritchard. This morning she joined Lorraine Kelly on her ITV chat show and spoke about what she plans on doing next now that her dancing journey has come to an end and whether or not she intending on keeping up the dancing.
Keen to discuss her partnership with Giovanni, Lorraine remarked: “You and Gio, two strong people, mutual respect and you do get on!
“It’s this thing of they want you to be fighting, you can’t just get on.”
“We have such an incredible relationship and this whole thing has been so much richer because of my partnership with Giovanni, I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else, I wanted him, I prayed to whoever is looking out for me,” Michelle replied.
“He’s the partner of my dreams and we’re going to continue dancing.”

“Are you going to continue dancing?” Lorraine reiterated.
“Absolutely, I called him yesterday, he’s busy doing the pro’s stuff but any hours that he has – absolutely,” the RuPaul’s Drag Race UK judge said.
“Because you’ve got to this level you don’t want it to go,” Lorraine added.
The host then moved onto discussing the Strictly Come Dancing 2020 tour and said: “It’s a real shame you’re not doing the tour, is it just dates didn’t work out?”
“After everything settled and we were watching back the results show, and I started to see the emails come in from people who said they felt represented and heard, it felt like I knew I did the right thing,” she replied.
It comes after Michelle spoke out about the criticism she has received since taking part in this year’s series of Strictly.
Some viewers claimed her routine on Saturday night lacked enough dance moves and instead suggested she was “just strutting”.
Elsewhere in Saturday night’s show, BBC One viewers were left confused when Motsi Mabuse disappeared off camera.
The remaining 13 Strictly Come Dancing contestants took to the dance floor to perform for the fourth time of the competition. It was a battle between Karim Zeroual and Kelvin Fletcher for the top spot but surprisingly, David James found himself not at the bottom of the leaderboard. Instead, it was occupied by Alex Scott and she is now the firm favourite to exit the show tomorrow night.
Following an incredible show, where the judges awarded two tens to Karim and Amy Dowden for their incredible Tango, it was Alex and Neil Jones who found themselves with the lowest scores.
The football pundit also performed a Tango, but it did not impress the judges very much.
And the bookmakers have already revealed how she is in danger of going home.
Shirley Ballas was first to give feedback and she said: “I have to say, from last week to this week the frame is starting to get a little bit better.

“When you are on the floor there is a story and you tell it and presence. I just feel that you are being a little bit careful because you are trig to make everybody happy.”
The odds on Alex leaving the show tomorrow night are evens according to Coral.
“Alex Scott is under the most pressure to survive this weekend according to our odds,” spokesman John Hill said.
“The standard was incredible this weekend but it is Kelvin Fletcher who continues to shorten following the performance which left the judges hot under the collar.”
Emma Weymouth is also at risk of being in the dreaded dance off as she has odds of 4/1 to be eliminated.
However, viewers were quick to flood to social media and show Alex their support.
One said: “Have to say Neil and Alex have been shafted on #Strictly tonight. #SCD2019 #strictly2019.”
“I’m really hoping Alex can escape the dance-off tonight. I like her and I think she’s doing really well #Strictly,” another said.
Someone else commented: “Mike Bushell overmarked and Alex Scott massively under marked in my opinion #Strictly.”
“Are these judges kidding me with Alex and Neil and Dev and Dianne being last/low on the leaderboard? Yet Mike gets 9s and 8s??? #Strictly,” another wrote online.
One fan said: “i’m especially worried about Alex – I hope she stays on longer in the competition, you can just tell she’ll have a breakthrough in 1-2 weeks… #Strictly.”
