Ahead of next week’s grand finale, the queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 11 reunited on Thursday for an intense 90-minute truth session. Shade was thrown, tears were shed and weaves literally tumbled. Read on for the episode’s 13 biggest moments, including a few surprising reveals about how the franchise’s first romance began… and how it ended: * Vanessa Vanjie Mateo coyly confirmed that she’s gotten herself a new set of chompers since last we saw her, but when Ru asked about the work she’s had done to her face, the meme queen snapped. (“If you ain’t filling, bitch, you ain’t winning!”) * Sadly, Vanjie won’t be flashing those brand-new pearly whites at Brooke Lynn Hytes anymore, as the queens confirmed that they split after four months of dating. It ultimately came down to conflicting schedules, with Vanjie constantly traveling for work. “I wanted the Notebook experience, and I was getting a Post-It,” Vanjie explained. * Speaking of that relationship, we apparently have Silky Nutmeg Ganache to thank for it. Brooke Lynn wasn’t looking for romance, but she noticed that Vanjie was being flirty. One night at the hotel, Silky told Brooke Lynn about Vanjie’s crush, and the rest is… Canadian bacon? * Both Yvie Oddly and Scarlet Envy confronted Ra’Jah O’Hara about the mean, elementary school-level insults she flung at them, both in her confessionals and in the workroom. They didn’t necessarily get the apologies they wanted, but at least we got this surprisingly introspective bit of wisdom from Ra’Jah: “Hurt people hurt people.” * Plastique Tiara’s fellow queens still don’t seem to fully grasp her backstory, saying that her pop cultural awareness varied week to week, based on what was “convenient” for the competition. * Now for some real drama — Ru asked Yvie and Silky about their multiple confrontations throughout the season, which Yvie attributes to getting frustrated by Silky’s resistance to the judges’ critiques. As for Silky, her anger came from a much simpler place: “I don’t trust you hoes!” * And what’s this? Some surprise shade from Nina? Let’s watch: Silky revealed that she gained 30 pounds while filming the season — or as Vanjie scientifically explained it, “Munch, munch! Crunch, crunch!” — and she outgrew her padding as the weeks continued. This could have been the end of that, but Nina wasn’t about to let Silky get away with that excuse, so she jumped in to inform Silky that there were spare pads in the workroom for the contestants to make alterations. * One of the only real apologies of the night came from Silky, who didn’t know the extent of Yvie’s illness when she suggested that she be sent home for being unwell. Tears were shed. It was beautiful. * And now for something less beautiful… Scarlet called out Brooke Lynn for saying at a viewing party that all of the queens “hated” Scarlet while filming. “I personally did not enjoy Scarlet on the show,” Brooke Lynn said tonight. “You were constantly trying to one-up. It ruffled my feathers. … I wasn’t sad to see you go when you went. On the show, I didn’t care for you too much … and I know a lot of the other girls felt the same way I did. But it was not my place to speak for them.” * Because no reunion is complete without a little mystery, Ru was determined to figure out what happened to Ariel Versace’s wigs. As she explained tonight, “I moved all my wigs to a separate little section. When I was packing up, I was in my feelings and forgot I moved stuff. I took several weeks to unpack my bags and realized I forgot an entire shelf.” She then awkwardly confessed to Plastique that she didn’t leave it for her. It was a lot of drama over some hair, but it was all worth it to watch Ra’Jah pull out — and launch — the Ariel wig she took home with her. (“The tumble-weave!”) * The reunion’s most emotional moment came courtesy of Mercedes Iman Diamond, who revealed that her sisters now support her drag career 100 percent. * Kahanna Montrese said it was “really hard” to have been left out of the opulence phenomenon. Also… who? * And Nina West redeemed herself with one of the best reads of the season: “Soju, it’s a shame your career hasn’t exploded like your cyst. Tell me, really quick: Did it… K-Pop?” What were your favorite moments from Thursday’s reunion? And which of the final four queens — A’Keria C. Davenport, Brooke Lynn, Silky and Yvie — are you rooting for? Drop a comment with all of your thoughts below. Games of Thrones season eight is a little over a month away, and with the release of the final series imminent, a star of the show has teased the end of hit HBO programme. With lots of theories about the show emerging on a daily basis, it is refreshing to have some clarity at last. Seemingly, Carice Van Houten, who plays Melisandre in the show, has ruled out a potential heir to the Iron Throne. She admitted fan-favourite Samwell Tarly is unlikely to sit on the ceremonial chair, revealing: “Unfortunately, that’s not the reality.” However, she insisted the series would deliver an exceptional finale episode without exemption. Speaking to What’s On, she said: “It is what it is, and so that’s what it should be. There’s nothing to say about whether I’d change it if I were in charge.” Nonetheless, the Dutch actress expressed regret with her character’s storylines not aligning with those of Cersei Lannister (played by Lena Headey). “It’s really a shame there aren’t any scenes between them, but the storylines just didn’t come together,” she explained. “It was a missed opportunity I think – it would have been really interesting to see that they got on as women as opposed to just fighting, because they’re not that different, they’re both loners.” As for how she reacted when filming wrapped up, the TV star revealed she was emotional letting go of her on-screen persona. “It was really hard,” she admitted. “I cried a lot.” She continued: “I didn’t think I was going to – you know it’s going to come to an end and you prepare for that, but it’s still always a shock.” Elsewhere, her co-stars Conleth Hill and Isaac Hempstead-Wright revealed not everyone will be pleased with the series. Varys actor Conleth recently spoke to Radio Times about the upcoming season, and whether the fans would be satisfied with the ending. However he replied: “Oh, f**k the fans.” Before clarifying what he meant. “That was a joke! But I don’t know, I don’t know if you can please everyone,” he added. Bran Stark star Isaac Hempstead-Wright then chimed in: “Not everyone’s going to be pleased, because it’s such a big show, and it’s divisive. “But I think we have wrapped it up as convincingly and honestly and as cleverly as we could hope.” Conleth finished: “I’m sure people will be moaning about something.” Game of Thrones season 8 returns April 14 on HBO in the US, and the next day on Sky Atlantic in the UK. The actress spoke out about her ordeal this week on a podcast with The Lost Boys. She said: “I’d had a bad experience on set with being basically cornered into doing a scene partially naked, and I felt had no choice in the matter. “I was mortified and I was trembling when it finished. “I was crying my eyes out and I had to go on to do a very formidable, very strong scene thereafter.” The upsetting experience happened during filming an episode from the third season of Lost. The show made Lilly a star and was one of the first major successes for Star Wars director JJ Abrams. Lost co-creators and executive producers Abrams and Damon Lindelof, as well as executive producers Jack Bender and Carlton Cuse were swift to respond to the actress’s revelations. ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: WHO DIES? UPDATED AVENGERS DEATH TOLL GALLERY BELOW They issued a joint public statement to People magazine. It said: “Our response to Evie’s comments this morning in the media was to immediately reach out to her to profoundly apologise for the experience she detailed while working on Lost. “We have not yet connected with her, but remain deeply and sincerely sorry. No person should ever feel unsafe at work. Period.” Lilly also clarified that after another unwelcome naked scene in season four, she told the producers: “‘I will never take my clothes off on this show again.’ And I didn’t.” Lilly starred in all 118 episodes across six seasons of the show, which ran from 2004-2010. She also admitted she became increasingly frustrated with the way her character Kate became reduced to a damsel in distress or endlessly chasing after the male leads. She added: “And that irritated the sh** out of me.” These days she is a a fully-fledged superhero on screen, and the first female Marvel character to have her name in a movie title. ANT-MAN AND THE WASP IS OUT NOW IN THE UK Liverpool signed Henderson from Sunderland in 2011 with the England international since donning the Reds armband. However, it was not always straightforward for the 27-year-old, who nearly left during Rodgers’ time in charge. Rodgers, now at Celtic, tried to include Henderson in a swap deal that would have seen then-Fulham star Clint Dempsey move to Anfield. Liverpool ultimately opted against that with Henderson now set to lead the Reds in next week’s Champions League final with Real Madrid. And Henderson has now opened up on the hurt of learning that Rodgers wanted him gone. He told the Daily Mail: “Brendan [Rodgers] called me in and said ‘listen, this is the offer’ and he asked me what I thought. “It implied to me that he would let me leave and it was up to me. “I went back to my room. I shed a few tears. I ended up crying a little bit because it hurt so much. I had the game that night to think about it as well. “I spoke to my agent and told him what had happened and I said I didn’t want to go. I wanted to stay and fight and try and improve and try to prove the manager wrong. “My agent agreed. I spoke to my dad. He was gutted but he backed my decision to stay and fight. “From that point, I just kept my head down. I knew I wouldn’t get as much game time as I wanted but I still had faith. “I was young enough to get my head down, keep working hard, do my extra bits and prove them wrong and I feel I managed to do that by the time Brendan left. “There are always those moments in football – and life in general – which can decide the path and the route you go down. “For me it was never an option to leave.” Nadal was scheduled to play his first match on Wednesday morning since retiring at the Australian Open with a hip injury. But just hours before facing Feliciano Lopez, Nadal held a press conference and revealed he had suffered a recurrence of the injury. “During my last training, I noticed again a puncture in the same area that I felt in Australia,” Nadal said. “The doctors told me it’s impossible to play; it hurts and I have no choice. I always try to [play] until the last moment, but I can’t.” The injury is a huge blow to the world No 2, who has now pulled out of six straight tournaments. And according to Alejandro Burillo, owner and president of Grupo Pegaso, who are the organisers of the Mexican Open, Nadal was extremely disappointed by his latest problem. He said: “I talked to Nadal and he was crying in his villa for two hours. “He could not play because of his injury, but he will recover to return in the following tournaments because the fans are looking for him.” Nadal now faces a race to be fit for the first Masters Series 1000 event in Indian Wells, which begins on March 8. But it has been reported in Spain that Nadal may look to skip Indian Wells and the following event in Miami in a bid to ensure fully fitness for the clay court season. Fans of The Walking Dead became emotional after watching Carl (Chandler Riggs) die from a Walkers bite, which he caught after he found Siddiq (Avi Nash) in the last show. Carl, who recruited Siddiq to go with him to Alexandria in episode six – The King, the Widow, and Rick – was attacked by a group of Walkers as they walked through the forest. Despite the two attempting to fight them off Carl became overwhelmed at one point and was pinned to the ground by two of the Walkers. During the dramatic struggle, he was bitten by a zombie and was left in shock following the intense tussle. In the latest episode titled Honour, Carl succumbed to his injuries, causing fans of the hit FOX series to go into meltdown. The teenager took his own life with a sniper rifle just before he transformed into a Walker after a tearful Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) dug a grave for the noble boy. Taking to Twitter to comment on the heart-wrenching scenes, one viewer wrote: “Tell me why that first scene of @TheWalkingDead has me tearing up.” “Hey guys The Walking Dead started not even ten minutes ago and I’m already crying like a goddam baby,” another added. A third posted: “I’m low key freaking out about @TheWalkingDead,” while a fourth said: “I’m having a hard time accepting this outcome.” “I never thought it was possible for a TV show to break your heart until I started watching The Walking Dead,” commented another user. While another fan wrote: “The Walking Dead Carl montage just made me dehydrated because I cried so hard.” Others fumed about the death of Carl, with one penning: “The Walking Dead killing off Carl makes me not wanna watch it anymore.” “Why do they have to kill the good characters? This is one of the reasons I have a bittersweet relationship with The Walking Dead. You have to give the heroes hope sometimes,” another moaned. Carl, the young son of Alexandria leader, has been a prominent character in the series since the very first episode. His death is sure to come as a devastating blow for Rick as they had a very special father-and-son bond. The Walking Dead airs tonight at 9pm on FOX UK.

President Donald Trump continued his tirade against former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon and author Michael Wolff late Friday night, nearly 24 hours after the release of Wolff’s bombshell book that casts members of the Trump administration as stars of a proverbial reality show in the West Wing.
“Michael Wolff is a total loser who made up stories in order to sell this really boring and untruthful book,” Trump said on Twitter. “He used Sloppy Steve Bannon, who cried when he got fired and begged for his job.”
Trump coined his new nickname for Bannon on Thursday, a day before the release of “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” which has seen robust initial sales. Contained within the pages are several embarrassing details about the Trump administration, including disparaging remarks about members of Trump’s family that attributed to Bannon.
Following the release of several excerpts from the book earlier this week, Trump issued a fiery statement and publicly cut ties with Bannon, mocking him for his ouster from the White House and saying Bannon “lost his mind.”
But Trump wasn’t the only one who distanced himself from the Breitbart News executive following the book’s release. Bannon drew the ire of other conservative figures, including billionaire conservative donor Rebekah Mercer and far-right conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh.
“Now Sloppy Steve has been dumped like a dog by almost everyone,” Trump continued in his tweet. “Too bad!”
Bannon has been tight-lipped amid the blowback, and instead of lashing out against Trump, he appeared to try and curry favor with him during a radio interview.
“The President of the United States is a great man,” Bannon said. “You know I support him day in and day out.”

McGregor has spent the last few months preparing for his fight with Floyd Mayweather in a Las Vegas showdown that will see him pocket a basic earning of £62million.
But Sitenkov claims he was a far cry from the confident, cocksure figure he is today when he beat the Irishman back in June 2008.
“He was crying after and was being comforted by his trainer,” Sitenkov told the Daily Mail.
“I went home and didn’t think of him again. Then, a few years later, wow.
“UFC, fame, everything. This thing with Floyd Mayweather, wow.”
Sitenkov has discussed his famous win over McGregor before.
Back in 2015, he revealed that he was picked by the Notorious’ longtime coach John Kavanagh because he looked like an easy win.
“John thought that McGregor could defeat me,” he was quoted as saying by bloodyelbow.com.
“According to his words, I was a fighter who already had experience in overseas performances, was in the rankings and they didn’t have to pay me much.
“I paid for a ticket from my pocket and flew to Ireland to fight.”
The Kazakhstani also said he was happy McGregor had been able to forge such a fine career for himself.
“Yes, I defeated McGregor. So what? He was just a teenager,” he said.
“This fight is impossible now because there are two weight categories between us. He has his own destiny and I have mine.
“He wins in UFC and I’m happy for it.”
Rooney re-joined Everton on a free transfer earlier this month to bring the curtain down on his remarkable 13 year career at Old Trafford. He will make his ‘second’ home debut on Thursday in the Europa League.
The 31-year-old is one of the most decorated stars in United’s history after helping them win five Premier League titles, one Champions League crown, three League Cups and an FA Cup.
He also became United’s all-time record scorer after beating Sir Bobby Charlton’s record last season when he scored his 250th goal.
But the England star decided to leave United after falling down the pecking order at United and losing his starting place in Mourinho’s team.
But Mourinho insisted he did not want Rooney to leave and became emotional when it happened.
“He deserves what he got and what he got was our desire for him to stay and our respect by making it completely clear that we would like him to stay,” said United manager Mourinho.
“I miss him a lot because he’s a fantastic guy.
“I’m not the kind of guy that normally gets emotional in my job but I did it with him when he left.
I am sure that he’s going to be very, very good for Everton and Everton is going to be very very good for him.”
Mourinho said Rooney became a frustrated figure at United and made it clear he wanted to return to Everton to salvage his career and secure more game time.
Mourinho said: “He deserves that. It’s not difficult and at the same time it was about showing him the respect that allows him to be happy.
“It was about allowing him to try to play every game, every minute, which honestly I think he needs.
“At his age, I think with his genetics and with his body and I think with his personality too, I don’t think he’s the kind of player to be less motivated, not so happy because he’s not playing every minute.
“I think with his body he needs to be working at high intensity every day, every match, so he deserves that respect from us.
“If you want to go, we had to make it easy for him to go.”
