RELATED STORIES

The Ranch is nearly at the end of its eight-part run before Nick’s killer is revealed.

In Episode 7, Beer Pong tells Colt that the murder weapon was found behind Nick’s trailer. Soon after, Wilkerson turns up at the Bennett house and arrests Luke for Nick’s murder. It was his gun they found on the premises.

Be that as it may, Luke didn’t kill Nick. Luke’s gun was in his car — the very car that Mary stole and cashed in for a quick drug fix. And we know it couldn’t have been Mary who ended the ex-con’s life; she was back at the Bennett house stealing a hot shower and some shuteye.

After Luke’s arrest, Colt, Abby, Beau, Maggie and Mary gather in the kitchen. Before long, Heather walks in and asks what happened. Mary breaks it to her daughter that Luke’s in custody, then Colt tells everyone that Luke is innocent. They have no reason to believe that Colt knows the truth — that is, until Abby nudges her hubby and says, “I think you should tell them.” Colt shrugs off the suggestion, then Beau loses his cool. He knows something’s up, and he’s not about to see his nephew rot in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. That’s when Heather interjects and confesses to murder. “I did it,” she says. “I killed Nick.” She then proceeds to tell Mary exactly what happened.

The Ranch 8x07 - Heather Kills Nick“That night, when I saw what he did to you, it brought back every time he hit you, or me, or Darlene… I’ve been scared of him my entire life,” she says. “I went back to the trailer to pack up your stuff so you’d never have to go back there again — and while I was packing, I found a gun. And then Nick walked in, and he saw the gun, and he came at me, and I didn’t know what to do. I just…” At this point, Mary takes Heather in her arms and squeezes her tight.

“You were protecting yourself,” Maggie says to Heather. “I just can’t believe you’ve had to go through this alone.” That’s when Colt interjects: “She wasn’t alone,” he says. “She called me right after. That’s why I was there and got arrested.”

The next day, Colt visits Luke and assures his cousin that he’s going to get him out of jail. He then returns home, where Heather, Mary and Abby join him for a sit-down with Jerry. The Bennett family attorney tells Heather that it sounds like she acted in self-defense, but the prosecution might not see it that way. But Heather is willing to take that chance; she’s going to turn herself in to get Luke out of jail, and she’s not going to tell the police that Colt helped her stash the murder weapon and flee the scene. Jerry explains to Colt and Abby that he’d be charged with accessory after the fact if he turns himself in, and he could face up to two years behind bars. They can choose to keep quiet, but if Colt gets caught, the prosecution will be a lot tougher on Colt and Heather.

'The Ranch' 8x07 - Colt and AbbyColt eventually decides that he just can’t live with himself if he doesn’t come clean. The following day, he and Abby accompany Heather down to the police station. She tells Wilkerson that she needs to talk, but she’s too late. “Is this about your mom? Because we’re processing her right now,” he says. “Mary confessed to killing Nick.” (Wait, what?!)

In a recent TVLine poll, 11 percent of readers said they believed that Heather killed Nick, whereas 13 and 12 percent of readers believed it was Mary or Beau, respectively. An overwhelming 55 percent of voters believed that the Rooster (played by fired former cast member Danny Masterson) was back to rescue Mary from Nick’s clutches, but Part 8 confirmed that Rooster wasn’t just presumed dead — he’s dead dead.

What did you think of The Ranch‘s killer reveal? Did you have a hunch it was Heather who phoned Colt in the Part 8 premiere? Hit the comments with your reactions — and to discuss anything that’s gone down in the first seven episodes.

Strictly Come Dancing 2019: Oti Mabuse confesses real reason Kelvin didn’t score 40 https://briefnews.eu/strictly-come-dancing-2019-oti-mabuse-confesses-real-reason-kelvin-didnt-score-40/ https://briefnews.eu/strictly-come-dancing-2019-oti-mabuse-confesses-real-reason-kelvin-didnt-score-40/#respond Fri, 22 Nov 2019 13:04:30 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/strictly-come-dancing-2019-oti-mabuse-confesses-real-reason-kelvin-didnt-score-40/

Kelvin Fletcher flicked and kicked his way on the Blackpool Tower dance floor last weekend as him and Oti Mabuse mastered the Jive on Strictly Come Dancing. The pair gave a clean performance that was full of energy but notoriously harsh judge Craig Revel Horwood still found fault with the routine. During an appearance on It Takes Two, Oti explained why she thinks the judge held back from giving them a perfect score.

Last weekend on the BBC show, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Bruno Tonioli all gave the couple 10s and simply offered words of praise without any points of improvement.

Shirley commented: “I’m speechless, I don’t know where to start but I do want to mention your flicks and your kicks, contra body, opposite arm to foot all the way through.

“You’re coordination was superb, that’s all I can say about that. You mixed your swing, you had some Jive, you had great action.”

“You owned it, you gave it, you controlled it, I was impressed,” Shirley added.

In Blackpool, Karim and Amy Dowden put on a cheeky Charleston which also received 39 from the judges.

Critiquing Karim’s dance, Craig added: “Clean, tight, precise. It was fantastic absolutely brilliant.”

Despite not offering any words of criticism, Craig still decided to gave Karim a nine.

Viewers were outraged by Craig’s decision not to give either Kelvin or Karim a 10 and flocked to social media to comment.

One said: “Got the feeling Craig is jealous of Kelvin and Karim and can’t bring himself to get the 10 paddle out. #Strictly #strictlyblackpool.”

Another added: “@bbcstrictly Craig is so mean. Kelvin & Oti, Karim & Amy should of got 10, robbed! #strictly.”

“I’m calling the police cause Amy and Karim have been robbed #StrictlyComeDancing 2019,” another said.

Another exclaimed: “Why does Craig have to be so difficult!!! Just give Kelvin a blimmin 10! That was 40 worthy! #strictly #strictlycomedancing @bbcstrictly.”

Strictly Come Dancing: The Results returns to BBC One Saturday at 7.15pm.

Royal travel: The Queen's flight fear revealed as monarch confesses feelings about visits https://briefnews.eu/royal-travel-the-queens-flight-fear-revealed-as-monarch-confesses-feelings-about-visits/ https://briefnews.eu/royal-travel-the-queens-flight-fear-revealed-as-monarch-confesses-feelings-about-visits/#respond Thu, 17 Jan 2019 22:32:32 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/royal-travel-the-queens-flight-fear-revealed-as-monarch-confesses-feelings-about-visits/

Queen Elizabeth II, as the UK’s longest serving member of the royal family ever, has visited more than 120 countries in the world. Her royal state visits overseas, which started from the age of 21, have often seen her accompanied by her husband, Prince Philip. Their excursions have helped to form bonds with communities and state leaders across the globe, as well as affording the married couple chance to experience a variety of cultures. Yet while the UK monarch, 92, takes on her duties abroad with a smile, a hidden fear of travel has been revealed.

The monarch does not enjoy the process of travelling to far-flung destinations, according to royal biographer Robert Hardman.

In his new book Queen of the World, he told how Prince Harry’s grandmother is “famously stoical” about the dangers of royal life while on excursions.

He added: “However, she (the Queen) has never been a great fan of air travel.

“If St Christopher, the patron saint of travellers, can afford any extra protection then so much the better.”

He emphasised the royal’s distaste for jetting away in a plane as he referenced former royal photographer, Reginald Davis, who covered many of her early royal tours.

Queen Elizabeth II is said to have confessed: “I’m never relaxed flying.”

Yet while she may not enjoy the process of getting to her destination, it is clear the monarch enjoys her duties when she gets there.

Charles Anson, who was the Queen’s press secretary in the 1990s, explained her love of travelling.

According to the Radio Times, he said: “I always felt that the Queen enjoys travel.

“She is genuinely curious about people, their different cultures, traditions and quirks”.

Her first trip to the Republic of Ireland during her reign was a risk in 2011, although she visited for the first time since the 1998 Good Friday agreement to promote relations between the UK and Ireland.

During a trip to New Zealand in 1986, she was also met by anti-royalists who threw eggs at her during the tour.

This prompted her to say: ”I myself prefer my New Zealand eggs for breakfast.”

Meanwhile her husband Prince Philip, 97, has made his feelings about economy plane travel very clear.

He called the cheapest seats in the aircraft “ghastly” during a candid comment about airlines.

Big Brother 2018: Brooke Berry confesses to having sexual dreams about Phillip Schofield https://briefnews.eu/big-brother-2018-brooke-berry-confesses-to-having-sexual-dreams-about-phillip-schofield/ https://briefnews.eu/big-brother-2018-brooke-berry-confesses-to-having-sexual-dreams-about-phillip-schofield/#respond Sun, 23 Sep 2018 23:55:27 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/big-brother-2018-brooke-berry-confesses-to-having-sexual-dreams-about-phillip-schofield/

Brooke Berry set tongues wagging when she admitted to having sexual dreams about This Morning star Phillip Schofield.

The 21-year-old reality star made the shock admission on last night’s instalment of the Channel 5 show Big Brother.

She told her fellow housemates it was the “weirdest dream” she every had, before going into detail about the fantasy.

“I had the weirdest dream and it was so inappropriate,” Brooke began.

“I had a dream that I had sex with Phillip Schofield in the shower.”

The astonishing revelation stunned the other contestants and viewers watching at home, who took to Twitter to comment on Brooke’s remark.

One person wrote: “Brooke had a nice dream about @Schofe in the shower. They are going to be talking about this on @thismorning tomorrow.”

Another joked: “I imagine lot of folks of all gender identities have had raunchy dreams about Phillip Schofield, so Brooke isn’t alone there.”

A third laughed: “@Schofe getting a mention there on #BB,” meanwhile another added: “Oi oi @Schofe Brooke is having dreams about you.”(sic)

Someone else commented: “The silver fox strikes again eh Phillip.”(sic)

Lewis Gregory was also a hot topic amongst fans last night after attempting to eat “contaminated” food.

The controversial character prepared an unusual feast, consisting of raw beef mince and salad, but was warned by his fellow housemates not to eat the meal.

However, he didn’t take kindly to being told what to do and snapped: “Seriously I’m a master chef. Why did you get involved?”

Big Brother then asked Akeem Griffiths to take the food away from him, which infuriated Lewis even more.

“That’s mine, leave it alone. Leave my mince alone,” Lewis shouted as the housemates tried to throw out his food.

Eventually, Zoe Jones chucked Lewis’s concoction in the bin, to which he fumed: “Oh my God, what are you doing?”

Lewis raged: “Why did you go through my stuff? I thought I was in here with cool people.

“F*** you all!”

The 26-year-old was later ordered to the Diary Room, where he was given a firm warning about his behaviour.

Big Brother continues tonight on Channel 5 at 9pm.

Florida man caught watching child porn in doctor’s office, confesses to years of abuse https://briefnews.eu/florida-man-caught-watching-child-porn-in-doctors-office-confesses-to-years-of-abuse/ https://briefnews.eu/florida-man-caught-watching-child-porn-in-doctors-office-confesses-to-years-of-abuse/#respond Wed, 15 Aug 2018 00:14:45 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/florida-man-caught-watching-child-porn-in-doctors-office-confesses-to-years-of-abuse/

A Florida man has admitted to molesting three children, taking pictures of children in public and watching child pornography for 20 years, after police caught him watching child porn on his laptop in a doctor’s waiting room.

Keith Garrad, 63, decided that a routine trip to his local medical center in Highland County was an appropriate time to open his laptop and a cue up some child pornography. Staff at the facility saw what Garrad was watching and called the sheriff’s office.

When deputies showed up, they caught Garrad red-handed, and he confessed to a litany of pedophilia offenses.

Garrad admitted owning the images on his laptop, and told the deputies that he had an even bigger collection at home, amassed over 20 years. He also told them that he sometimes took pictures of other people’s children when he was out and about. At his house, deputies found more images, some of which showed children as young as six months old being sexually battered.

The collared predator told deputies that he had gone further than simply watching videos, and had raped three children in his care over the years.

Garrad is now sitting in county jail, facing three counts of sexual abuse on victims under 12, and 68 counts of child pornography possession. No bond was granted, and more charges may be leveled at Garrad after police analyze several electronic devices found at his house.

“This monster is behind bars today because someone saw something, and said something,” said Sheriff Grady Judd. “We will do everything in our power to ensure he never has access to children again.”

Sunday Brunch: Simon Rimmer dodges trouble as he confesses 'surefire' way to get axed https://briefnews.eu/sunday-brunch-simon-rimmer-dodges-trouble-as-he-confesses-surefire-way-to-get-axed/ https://briefnews.eu/sunday-brunch-simon-rimmer-dodges-trouble-as-he-confesses-surefire-way-to-get-axed/#respond Sun, 08 Apr 2018 11:16:17 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/sunday-brunch-simon-rimmer-dodges-trouble-as-he-confesses-surefire-way-to-get-axed/

The 54-year-old TV chef was careful not to let things get uncomfortable during the live broadcast after The One Show presenter Alex, 41, joined him and co-host Tim Lovejoy, 50, to attempt a recipe for a cauliflower cheese tars.

Simon Rimmer began by teaching the BBC favourite how to make pastry, talking her through the specific motions so as not to overwork the mixture.

“Always keep your thumb on top,” he explained, adding: “See how much better that feels?”

“Feels lovely,” the brunette beauty replied. “I feel like I’m in Ghost, you know, where they do that pottery bit?”

She referenced the famously saucy scene in the 1990 romantic thriller where Patrick Swayze’s character sits behind Demi Moore to seductively interlace their fingers whilst working wet clay on a pottery wheel.

“Simon you need to come in behind her and show her how to do it,” Tim joked.

The Channel 4 presenter seemed unconvinced, however, quickly shutting down the idea.

“I think in today’s day and age you’re not allowed to do that,” he quipped.

“I think that would be a surefire way for this to be my last show,” the former Strictly Come Dancing contestant insisted.

He then moved swiftly on, changing the subject back to to recipe.

The method included blind baking the tart case before adding a mixture of creme fraiche, cheeses, egg and mustard as well as delicious-looking roasted cauliflower.

He then garnished the dish with a dollop of tomato chutney.

Alex was among a stellar line-up of guests on today’s show, including Kathleen Turner, Tom Rosenthal and Game of Thrones star Michiel Huisman.

The One Show star welcomed her first child with her husband Charlie Thomson last year.

Alex Jones recently revealed that her husband called her ‘less fun’ after the birth of their son.

Opening up about how she had taken his remark, she told OK! Magazine: “Not well at the time.

“In hindsight, I could have done better. I should have sucked it up and talked about it.

“Suddenly you’ve got the responsibility of a small human, you’re trying to do a full-time job and I’m really sorry if I forgot to drink wine until 4am,” she added.

“You take all that for granted before.

“But since then we’ve worked out ways of having nights on our own to strike that balance,” Alex explained.

Sunday Brunch continues next Sunday at 9.30am on Channel 4.

Following the announcement that she was the fourth celebrity to be voted out of the jungle competition on tonight’s instalment of the ITV series, The Saturdays singer shared all about the horror of the Fright House Trial she undertook with boxer Amir, 30.

Admitting she was upset with Amir’s tactics during the challenge, the 28-year-old suddenly exclaimed: “Do you know what else happened?”

Taken aback, hosts Ant and Dec laughed as the latter asked: “What? Who you pointing at sister?”

“When we got to the end of the Trial, when we had to undo the keys,” she began. “I was undoing the keys as fast as I possibly could. Amir then says to me, ‘Oh I didn’t bother doing that I just yanked it off’.”

Gobsmacked, Ant McPartlin replied: “Did he? Well we didn’t notice that,” as Declan Donnelly declared: “That’s disqualification and you now win.”

“I might have won,” Vanessa agreed, saying her goodbyes before heading off to reunite with her family.

The reveal comes after more drama with the boys in camp on tonight’s instalment, leading the popular presenting duo to give their own two cents amid another Iain Lee row.

When former footballer Dennis Wise, 50, returned to the camp having completed the same challenge radio host Iain, 44, had failed with ease, he told his friends Jamie Lomas, 42, and Amir that he was sure the pool had only been one metre deep.

Deciding to clear up the comments for viewers once and for all, Declan explained: “The pool is three metres deep, well it’s actually 2.97 metres.

“What’s 3cm between friends?” he added, as Ant agreed with his co-host.

California teen confesses to molesting 50 children, judge sets bail of $1mn https://briefnews.eu/california-teen-confesses-to-molesting-50-children-judge-sets-bail-of-1mn/ https://briefnews.eu/california-teen-confesses-to-molesting-50-children-judge-sets-bail-of-1mn/#respond Sun, 03 Dec 2017 19:47:06 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/california-teen-confesses-to-molesting-50-children-judge-sets-bail-of-1mn/

Bail has been set at $ 1 million for an 18-year-old California man who was turned into the police by his mother after confessing to molesting at least 50 children.

Joseph Hayden Boston’s mother flagged down a police sergeant outside Riverside Police Department at 3am local time on Saturday and said she wanted to turn in her son for suspected molestation. The teen had called her to say he had molested two young boys, aged four and eight, earlier in the day.

“The suspect had recently been staying at the Simply Home Inn & Suites,” Riverside police said in a statement. “It was there when he befriended [the] 8-year-old and 4-year-old male victims, who were also staying at this motel with their parents. The children were allowed to go into the suspect’s room last night when the molestation occurred.”

During an interview with officers Boston confessed to sexually assaulting the two boys in his motel room. He also admitted to molesting upwards of 50 children since he was 10-years-old in different cities in Southern California.

“This is going to affect not only the victims for a long time, but also our detectives and officers involved in this – to hear someone just be very open about what they’ve done, and they’re only 18 themselves,” said Officer Ryan Railsback of Riverside police said to local TV station ABC 7.

Detectives from the Sexual Assault & Child Abuse Unit have launched an investigation. They believe he has victimized other children who have not yet come forward.

Boston was arrested on counts of oral copulation on a child under the age of 10. He was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center with bail set at one million dollars. Child Protective Services took custody of the two boys Boston assaulted on Saturday.

When the blonde bombshell and her co-host, Phillip Schofield, returned to ITV screens after an advert break, the former revealed that she had a secret.

“You’re doing really well, really well,” Phil, 55, encouraged Holly.

She told confused viewers: “I’ve got a confession to make…

“I’ve left all of my scripts with all of my questions for today up Big Ben so I am just flying without wings right now.”

This Morning started up the Elizabeth Tower in light of the return of Big Ben’s bong later today.

Phillip couldn’t resist giggling at his co-host’s mistake, joking that someone had been asked to run back up the 334 steps of the famous landmark, but no one was up to the challenge.

Holly, 36, sighed: “So it’s out there… There you go.”

Phil continued: “If you do find yourself up Elizabeth Tower when you visit Big Ben, could you check and pop them back?”

Coronation Street spoilers: Aidan CONFESSES all in the most dramatic cobbles wedding EVER https://briefnews.eu/coronation-street-spoilers-aidan-confesses-all-in-the-most-dramatic-cobbles-wedding-ever/ https://briefnews.eu/coronation-street-spoilers-aidan-confesses-all-in-the-most-dramatic-cobbles-wedding-ever/#respond Thu, 07 Sep 2017 22:20:15 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/coronation-street-spoilers-aidan-confesses-all-in-the-most-dramatic-cobbles-wedding-ever/

Eva (played by Catherine Tyldsley) found out about her fiancé’s cheating months ago, and set about exacting revenge.

Going on a spending spree, the self-confessed diva maxed out Aidan’s (Shayne Ward) credit card and has been planning to shun her best friend, Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) in a cruel hen-do twist.

However, the wedding will be the main event as Aidan chooses to confess his sins to Eva, only to find out that she already knew.

Speaking at a recent press event, actress Catherine explained that the big reveal will be filled with stunts, saying: “I was very high up at one point – and I’m terrified of heights, so that was a real challenge for me.

“It’s very action-packed,” the 33-year-old teased.

The blonde beauty also hinted at the “game-changer” of a ceremony for the love triangle, adding: “Even when she found out about the affair she still really loved him which made her hate him even more.

“She can see the absolute sincerity in his eyes, and she can see how genuine he is and that he really does love her and the whole [affair] to him has been a massive mistake.

“It’s a huge game-changer for her. She had the whole day completely planned out to a T – she has this revenge plot firmly in her mind and all of a sudden she’s like, ‘He’s offering me everything I’ve ever wanted and he’s come clean,’ and things do start to change for her in her mind after that moment.”

Will Eva go ahead with her act of revenge or will she succumb to Aidan’s charms?
