A source told The Sun On Sunday: “All the male pros really want to partner with her, not just because she’s young and fit, but she’s also proven herself to be a brilliant dancer.

“She has a massive fan following, which often ensures contestants get far in the competition.”

Express.co.uk reached out to BBC for comment.

Maisie took to the dance floor in a Children In Need special in 2019, where she won alongside professional dancer Kevin Clifton.

  • It’s no longer enough for banks to offer customers a sleek mobile banking app; in fact, they expect it.

SEATTLE—Nintendo of America President and COO Reggie Fils-Aime appeared at Seattle’s Geekwire Summit on Wednesday to speak broadly about the company’s future, and, while the talk didn’t include new product reveals, it proved illuminating about what to expect from the big N in the future.

The short version: Nintendo would rather be defined as an “entertainment” company, not a gaming one.

Fils-Aime says the company currently has three “pieces of business”: a dedicated video game business (“the way most of our consumers interact with us”), a mobile gaming business, and “leveraging our intellectual property (IP) in a variety of ways.” The latter includes previously announced plans for a Universal Studios attraction in Osaka, Japan (still slated to open ahead of Tokyo’s next Olympics hosting run in 2020) and a Super Mario film produced by Illumination Entertainment (Minions, Despicable Me).

Prankster lures men to New York square to compete in ‘real life’ Tinder https://briefnews.eu/prankster-lures-men-to-new-york-square-to-compete-in-real-life-tinder/ https://briefnews.eu/prankster-lures-men-to-new-york-square-to-compete-in-real-life-tinder/#respond Mon, 20 Aug 2018 20:59:46 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/prankster-lures-men-to-new-york-square-to-compete-in-real-life-tinder/

A New York prankster lured dozens of thirsty men to the same location on a public square, promising them a DJ set and “whatever happens.” Once there, she cajoled them into competing in a bizarre version of ‘real life Tinder.’

After “shopping my soul around” on the popular dating app, one of the unlucky marks talked about looking forward to a date with ‘Natasha.’

The mystery woman told him that she was busy for a while and he lost interest, until a message came through last week: “HEY IM FINALLY FREE LMAO… my friend is DJing near Union square around 6 tomorrow I was wondering if you wanted to go for a bit then we could go get drinks after and see what happens.”

The hapless horndog turned up at New York’s Union Square, supposedly to meet Natasha at the stage, check out the music, and head off into the evening. Standing at the stage were dozens of other guys, and eventually the mark saw Natasha take to the stage, flanked by two beefy bodyguards.

Natasha then spilled the beans. She had matched with every guy in the crowd, told them the same story, and lured them to the concert. She then revealed the next stage of her plan: the men would compete in a battle-royale of real-life challenges, to see who could win a date with her.

Our narrator picked up his remaining dignity and went home, but not before admiring Natasha’s “fallopian fortitude” for pulling off such an audacious scam.

Some men stayed and played, however. Natasha eliminated them with a series of questions.  “If you’re Puerto Rican and support Trump leave! If you have a long beard, leave!” one participant, 28-year-old Nicholas, recalled her shouting.

Her challenges then moved into the physical. Men lined up to sprint for her affection, and dropped to do push-ups.

“The majority of the group, like 95 percent, were like aaahhh, watching as the f*cking idiots fell in line to her demands to do push ups and run,” Nicholas said. “She did a live swipe line, right and left. I left at that point.”

The audacious grifter was identified by the local news site Gothamist as Natasha Aponte. Her Instagram profile describes her as an “actress, model, singer,” and “New York City Baby.”

Whether Natasha actually took anyone on a date is a detail lost in the legend.

    Strictly Come Dancing 2018 line-up: Lee Ryan confirmed as twelfth star to compete https://briefnews.eu/strictly-come-dancing-2018-line-up-lee-ryan-confirmed-as-twelfth-star-to-compete/ https://briefnews.eu/strictly-come-dancing-2018-line-up-lee-ryan-confirmed-as-twelfth-star-to-compete/#respond Mon, 20 Aug 2018 12:44:44 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/strictly-come-dancing-2018-line-up-lee-ryan-confirmed-as-twelfth-star-to-compete/

After an exclusive interview with Stormy Daniels, The Loose Women panel were elated to announce the next Strictly Come Dancing contestant.

The twelfth contestant was confirmed to be Lee Ryan, after appearing in a glittery motorcycle helmet.

Lee joined the panellists after being covered in glitter, and commented: “I was nervous even to say yes.

“I used to run out of my dancing lessons – that’s why I can sing and not dance. I am nervous.”

He also went on to joke: “Have you ever seen a Blue concert? We lean and there is maybe a shoulder or two.

“They approached me and I was like, ’cause Simon did it.”

Panellist Jane Moore chipped in: “He got to the final!”

Lee remarked: “I think the transformation of him going through the show was important.”

Lee also spoke about the supposed Strictly curse, and whether he is worried about it.

Although he admitted he isn’t worried, and simply said: “No, I’m single, I’m sweet.”

STRICTLY COME DANCING 2018’S FULL CONFIRMED LINE UP

In a statement released by the BBC, Lee said: “I’m so excited to be joining this year’s line-up.

“It is a real honour for me and I can’t wait to get out on the dance floor.”

Lee also told the BBC about the inspiration his bandmember is giving him. He said: “Four years later the man is still doing his ballroom moves on stage. It changed his life.

Blue sold over 15 million records, and won three number one albums with fans all over the world.

After splitting in 2005, Lee worked on some solo music before appearing in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011.

Since then Lee has been playing Harry “Woody” Woodward in EastEnders.

However he has since left the soap in June this year, after it was revealed that he was the mysterious money theif.

Lee Ryan’s announcement follows the reveal that Seann Walsh and Kate Silverton will be joining the show.

The pair were revealed on BBC’s The One Show on Friday.

Of the announcement, Seann explained: “I know, I’m kind of as shocked as everyone else, why am I doing it?

“I just thought it would be, it would be nice to do something where I could, hopefully, come out the other end with maybe a skill and dance. But looking at your faces you don’t seem convinced.”

In Kate’s statement on joining the show she announced: “I love dancing and I love the joyfulness of the programme itself, so I am really looking forward to doing something I have never done before, which is to learn how to dance, take part in an entertainment show and generally immerse myself in a very different world to one I am used to!”
