Russia’s Vladimir Putin got behind the steering wheel to show Egypt’s Abdel Fatah el-Sisi what the Formula 1 circuit in Sochi looks like, picking an Aurus sedan from his motorcade for the job.

After concluding their talks on Wednesday, the two leaders traveled to the Sochi Autodrom, which just recently hosted the Russian F1 Grand Prix. They took the trip in President Putin’s new Russian-made Aurus Senat Limousine that was only premiered during the Russian president’s inauguration this May.

At the race track, Trade Minister Denis Manturov showed off two other Aurus models – Senat sedan and Arsenal minivan – to the two presidents. Both serve as part of the Russian president’s motorcade.

But simply looking wasn’t enough, as Sisi fully backed Putin’s idea to take one of the cars on a test drive. They opted for the Aurus sedan and drove around the circuit with the Russian president behind the wheel and his Egyptian counterpart as passenger.

Sisi isn’t the first foreign leader who got treated with a demo of the Aurus brand. Putin previously showed the Russian cars to Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and some other prominent guests – but stopped short of actually test-driving them.

The Aurus line (Au/Aurum being Latin for ‘gold’ and ‘Rus’ standing for ‘Russian’), which is crowned by the armored presidential limousine, has been in development since 2012 as part of a project called Kortezh (motorcade). The cars are expected to enter the market in 2019. The new Aurus SUV, called Komendant, is also expected to be unveiled next year.

A new investigation has revealed why free wi-fi in a hotel should be avoided.

Guests who use the free wifi could face a number of problems when it comes to having their private information stolen.

The investigation by US show Today revealed how easy it is for someone to create a fake wi-fi that guests use.

Journalist Jeff Rossen used a security expert to create the fake hotspots at a hotel in Mexico, using names similar to the hotel’s wifi.

Tourists who then used the fake hotspot didn’t realise how easy it was to steal their data.

Credit card details, flight information and their browsing data are just some of the things that could easily be taken.

He then explained to guests that they had been caught and they were shocked at how easily they fell for the scam.

Many travellers will need to use wi-fi during their trip.

Rossen offered a number of ways to stay safe when attempting to use the free wi-fi.

One of them was to enter an incorrect room number when trying to join the wi-fi network, which will be rejected if the real deal or authenticate if a scam network.

Other safety tips include choosing to “forget the network” when leaving, turning off the “auto join” option and making sure to log off the wi-fi when using a public hotspot.

Staying safe in a hotel is something that many guests will want to make sure of, and one of those is checking the peephole security in a room.

They can easily be manipulated to hide a secret camera, meaning the guests inside can be filmed.

An ESPN reporter fell victim to this who was targeted by a stalker, who then posted videos of her naked to the internet.

DoNotPay, an automated legal tool, is branching out into helping users book airline tickets, it announced on Monday. Its services have previously helped overturn hundreds of thousands of users’ parking tickets, and assisted people affected by the Equifax data breach in suing the firm. It also works in 1,000 other areas of law.

A viral video has captured the moment a bad driver attempts to overtake on a motorway.

The silver car steers into the third lane of a motorway without looking, nearly cutting up a white car.

Thankfully they notice at the last minute and pull back in, but due to the high speed, they end up spinning out of control.

Suddenly the driver loses control in the middle of the lanes.

The driver then spins around 180 degrees, ending up facing traffic on the busy road.

They manage to get it back in control and spin round again whilst a black car nearly smashes into it.

They slam on the breaks whilst the car rights itself before getting back into the lane and driving normally again.

Imgur users were shocked that the incident wasn’t more serious.

The video, which has since had over 1.2 million views, showed the dangers of overtaking without checking behind first.

One user wrote: “There were several amazing wreck avoidances by those other drivers, and nice recovery by the dude causing all the havoc.”

Another didn’t put the whole blame on the first driver: “Can I point out that both of them are at fault here? The white car was obviously going too fast for his lane.”

One found the situation somewhat more amusing, commenting: “He did eventually get into his desired lane though.”

Bad drivers are aplenty on the internet when another car had a near miss.

They failed to look where they were going when pulling out of a junction.

They then nearly hit both a bike and a lorry before speeding off.

Thankfully both were without injuries.
