Recently, Express.co.uk held a poll about the future of the show and put it to the die-hard fans for what they want next in the Outlander series.
The poll asked: “Should Jamie and Claire Fraser be replaced by Brianna and Roger MacKenzie?”
Just under 1,100 viewers gave their say on the issue at hand, and the results are overwhelming.
Just over 1,000 fans voted that no, Jamie and Claire should not be sent packing during or after this season with the caveat: “They should be the sole focus of the show.”
This isn’t overly surprising, as the fandom for Outlander have a burning passion for both Claire and Jamie, and if their relationship were to deteriorate perhaps so too would the show.

As for who are in the running to replace Caroline, there have been suggestions BBC Radio 1 DJ and MTV presenter Maya Jama could be heading to South Africa soon.
Emily Atack, Maura Higgins and Laura Whitmore have also been speculated.
It comes after police arrested Caroline in the early hours of Friday, with a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police confirming she had been arrested for assault by beating and would be appearing in court before Christmas.
“Caroline Flack, 40, of Islington was charged on Friday, 13 December with assault by beating. She will appear on bail at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 23 December,” the police spokesperson said.
“This follows an incident at approximately 05:25hrs on Thursday, 12 December after reports of a man being assaulted. He was not seriously injured,” they added.
Love Island returns to ITV2 in the New Year.

Social media proved itself to be a double-edged sword on Wednesday’s Younger. But is it sharp enough to kill Kelsey’s entire career with a single swing?
Let’s dive in: During a work trip to Chicago, Kelsey impressed Millennial’s potential new investors with her grasp of social, especially how she’s using it to expand the business and improve customer loyalty. They were less impressed, however, by the sexy DM she filmed for Zane (“Guess who got the money, honey!”) and accidentally posted to her Instagram story. The “uncomfortable” investors explained that they’re still interested in Millennial, but only if Charles returns to the role of publisher. And since this was the company’s last resort, Kelsey recognized that she had no choice but to step down. (Well, she technically took the escalator down — but you get it.)
Speaking of difficult decisions, Liza agreed not to see Josh anymore after promising Charles that their perceived chemistry in the Infinitely 21 ad meant nothing. To be fair, though, Liza kind of brought this on herself by traveling to Chicago and confronting Charles face to face. In her attempt to spare his feelings, she actually made him more insecure about her lingering attraction to Josh. Had she simply explained the situation in a phone call or a text message — or a sexy DM, a la Kelsey — he likely would have dismissed it. But hopping on an expensive last-minute flight made it seem like Liza had something to hide.
And while we’re discussing that Infinitely 21 ad, allow us to float a few questions to the group: How did Josh and Liza, the stars of the campaign, not see the final image before it was released? At the very least, shouldn’t Lauren — you know, the publicist — have seen it and warned her? Also, wasn’t that campaign only out for, like, a day before the company decided to immediately make it national? By what metrics could Infinitely 21 have possibly measured the ad’s success so quickly? OK, rant over.
Also worth discussing…
* Claire informed Josh that she’s been offered a great position with Google… in Los Angeles. Maggie suggested that he wage a custody battle to keep Gemma in his life, but he decided to go in a slightly different direction. He pitched a partnership between Inkburg and Infinitely 21 (naturally), where he would apply exclusive tattoos in-store to drum up publicity. Shelly was crazy about the idea… almost as crazy as she is about Josh.
* Despite a not-so-subtle dig at Liza (“When I was in my twenties…” / “Oh, you mean last week?”), Diana was cool as a cucumber whilst her wedding preparations got underway. Then again, this was just about the dress — we should really wait until the discussion of jewelry begins.

Chloe Bennet did tell us there would be swords this season on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. And this Friday, a “magical” (?) sabre finally showed up, but in whose hand and for what purpose?
Having saved S.H.I.E.L.D. HQ from last week’s shrike event, Sarge had Mack over a bit of a barrel. Mack came through on half of the deal, by flipping Sarge the keys to his truck. Sarge, though, can only take one of his crew on the mission to prevent the end of Earth at the hand of the shrikes’ “creator,” while also being accompanied by both May and Daisy. Sarge chooses Snow, then warns Mack to not get in their way. Mack agrees not to leave the base… without pointing out that the Zephyr is their airborne base.
During the drive to Nebraska, they watch on radar as a crowd of random, shrike-infested people congregate in the middle of nowhere and explosively transform into a network of those crystalline things, coming together as a tower of sorts. Sarge warns the others that, “She is coming, and everyone you care about is going to die.” But if Sarge can get close enough to the creator, he has… a sword that he plans to drive through her heart. Also, Snow (creepily) reveals herself to be a bit sweet on Deke, who wound up going along for this ride when his tech savvy was needed to fix Sarge’s “shrike repellant.” Deke in turn appreciates Snow’s want to see his soul be… spilled out.
Meanwhile in space: The crew of the ship that Fitz and Jemma helped Izel appropriate has their misgivings about the bucket of bolts surviving a jump, but Fitz is OK with the 50/50 odds. It all turns out to be much ado about nothing, as the ship makes the jump without incident, after which Jemma and Fitz see their home emerge from behind the moon. Izel explains to her new terran friends that she has been searching for artifacts that belonged to her home world. Most recently, she thought they were on Chronica, but that was not the case. That world in turn wound up “destroyed,” though she cops to no culpability. Instead she suggests that she is being chased by her own ruthless nemesis, whom we are left to believe is Sarge. Why is this person dogging her so? “Because I know the truth about him,” Izel says. “I know what he really is.”
Afterward, in private, FitzSimmons concur that the artifacts Izel seeks are the Kree monoliths — which, Jemma explains to Fitz, have all been destroyed. That update leads into a pretty hilarious conversation about the wedding Fitz missed, how he is jealous of her first husband, and the wedding night prowess of his own that he must live up to/surpass.
As for Izel, what/who is she, really? Because while FitzSimmons unsuccessfully try to get comms working to contact their friends on Earth, we see Izel “mother” a wee shrike, with which she later infests crew member Toad. Toad and his similarly possessed buddy then join Izel and her zombie-like army in the halls, as the ship begins its descent, with FitzSimmons thus far none the wiser.
Back on Earth, Benson relays research suggesting that the creator Sarge has spoken of is a demon named Izel, and that the artifacts she is after are the Kree monoliths. Pax and Jaco, meanwhile, have been detained via chains and the containment pod, respectively. After Pax comes up short with an escape attempt (that nonetheless kills a S.H.I.E.L.D. red shirt), he blabs that Sarge’s plan involves a bomb. That information is quickly relayed to Daisy and May, who confront Sarge. Thing is, he has already armed the bomb and set the truck on auto pilot. And any quaking from Daisy, to stop him, might set it off prematurely. Sarge escapes to the truck roof, where he creates one of those interdimensional portals and uses it to step onto the Zephyr, right where Pax and Jaco are being held. Daisy, May, Deke and Snow, meanwhile, are left behind, quite trapped inside the truck and barreling toward the shrike tower. All while Izel and her ship begin their approach for a landing.
Will Mack shoot down the alien ship, not knowing FitzSimmons are aboard? Will he take out Sarge’s truck before the bomb with a 200-mile blast radius goes off, sacrificing May, Daisy and Deke in the name of a greater good? Will Deke be able to disable the bomb of Sarge’s he just uncovered?
“Collision Course, Part II” is next week!

Zero Motorcycles, the Tesla of the motorcycle world, announced the latest addition to its lineup of electric bikes today. The 2020 SR/F offers an air-cooled motor that can produce 110 horsepower and 140 pound-feet of torque. The bike can reach a top speed of 120 MPH and travel 161 miles on a single charge. The base version of Zero’s latest bike will have a base price of $ 18,995
While the base package is impressive, Zero also has some add-ons for folks who want a little more out of their ride. The SR/F has an available additional power tank that increases the range of each ride by about 25 percent. There is also an extra-fast charging option that comes with the premium version of the bike. It offers a nearly full charge, from 0 to 95 percent, in just one hour. The premium model also has heated handlebars, in case you’re looking to treat yourself.

Similar to Tesla, Zero offers over-the-air updates for its bike. When new software is available, it’s delivered automatically to the machine, which runs Zero’s own software called Cypher III. The SR/F will also have its own dedicated app that riders can use to track their trips, share rides and receive alerts about any unexpected activity from the bike. It’ll also offer a customizable, full-color dash that will show the information that you want to see. Zero says the SR/F is the first fully “smart” motorcycle.
The Zero SR/F isn’t just a jump up in specs compared to most of the company’s previous models of motorcycles, it also puts distance between Zero and its competitors. Harley Davidson’s electric LiveWire motorcycle might be Zero’s highest-profile challenger, but that battery-powered bike is topped in just about every category by the SR/F — and the SR/F costs nearly $ 10,000 less than the LiveWire.

Kevin Spacey is speaking out… as Frank Underwood. The actor posted a strange video to YouTube on Monday, in which he addresses viewers as his deceased House of Cards character, who was written out after sexual assault allegations against Spacey came to light. In the clip, titled “Let Me Be Frank,” Spacey alludes to Frank’s death in the sixth and final season of the Netflix drama, as well as the real-life allegations against him. In Oct. 2017, actor Anthony Rapp accused Spacey of sexually assaulting him at a party in New York when Rapp was 14.
“I know what you want. You want me back,” a Christmas apron-sporting Spacey says in the video. “Of course, some believed everything and have just been waiting with bated breath to hear me confess it all. They’re just dying to have me declare that everything said is true and that I got what I deserved. … But you wouldn’t believe the worst without evidence, would you? You wouldn’t rush to judgment without facts, would you?”
“All this presumption made for such an unsatisfying ending, and to think it could have been such a memorable sendoff,” Spacey continues, later adding, “I can promise you this: If I didn’t pay the price for the things we both know I did do, I’m certainly not going to pay the price for the things I didn’t do.”
Spacey goes on to say that “despite all the poppycock, the animosity, the headlines, the impeachment without a trial, despite everything, despite even my own death, I feel surprisingly good, and my confidence grows each day that soon enough you will know the full truth.”
He concludes his monologue by noting, “You never actually saw me die, did you?” He then puts on Frank’s ring. “Conclusions can be so deceiving. Miss me?” he finishes before walking away to the sound of a dramatic music cue.
The video comes on top of news that Spacey will be arraigned on a felony charge of indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or over at Nantucket District Court on Jan. 7, our sister site Variety reports. Spacey was accused by former Boston news anchor Heather Unruh of sexually assaulting her then-18-year-old son at a Nantucket, Mass., bar in July 2016. According to Unruh, the actor provided her son (who told Spacey he was 21) with drinks and then reached down his pants and grabbed the young man’s genitals.

It’s a very big thing to earn the German’s vote of confidence, for his Liverpool juggernaut is something that’s taken just over three years to assemble.
And when Fabinho was handed his first serious Premier League audition at Arsenal in early November, there was a clear case of stage fright.
There wasn’t a lack of effort or heart, he was simply out of tune. The Reds looked like they had signed the wrong defensive midfielder when he was booked for clouting Lucas Torreira with a flailing arm.
Klopp claimed back in September that the £44million signing may need up to six months to adapt to Liverpool’s rock-and-roll football, and after Andrew Robertson and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain had to endure similar settling in periods, there was every reason to believe him.
Then came the Champions League trip to Paris. It was a night when the tables turned, and not only in Group C.
Klopp went for the tried and trusted midfield trio of Georginio Wijnaldum, Jordan Henderson and James Milner in a quest for solidity.
It was a rude awakening as the Reds were overrun – the screen that had helped protect the best defence in the Premier League ruthlessly exposed.
That posed the question: why was over £110m’s worth of midfield talent, bought to evolve this Liverpool team, sitting on the bench?
Perhaps that’s when the penny dropped, because Klopp began to shuffle the pack.
Naby Keita’s dynamism and energy stuck out like a sore thumb in a midweek win at Burnley while Xherdan Shaqiri’s web of creativity vs Watford and Everton was something the side has been starved of since Philippe Coutinho’s departure to Barcelona.
But as the Reds top the table by four points at Christmas, it’s been Fabinho who’s given Klopp’s side an added edge over recent weeks and could prove the difference come May.
It was his stark contribution in the Merseyside derby that first brought this realisation to fruition.
The Brazilian is not the most aesthetically pleasing footballer on the planet but his grit and dictatorship in the middle of the park was something that Anfield hasn’t seen since the days of Javier Mascherano.
He won eight duels, made six tackles, two clearances and one interception with a pass accuracy of 86 per cent.
His long bandy legs also ran 11.4 kilometres, more than any other Liverpool player – despite the fact he was subbed on 75 minutes.
Since arriving on Merseyside, Fabinho has been stapled to a strict gym programme which is centred around strengthening his thighs and core, and we are now beginning to see the benefits of that additional power.
He’s now giving Liverpool a new dimension with his positional presence by kickstarting attacks with forward-thinking movements.
His assist to Sadio Mane in the win over United was the perfect example, a perfectly weighted clipped ball over a deep defence. This kind of dare and adventure from a No 6 when it’s easier to keep possession is priceless.
The signs were there in the win at Molineux too, a lung-busting run up the right flank saw the ball cut-back for Mohamed Salah to cutely flick home.
Liverpool fans will do well to recall the last time Jordan Henderson came off the lead and took a risk to try and open something up.
Manchester City have had their unexpected wobble, rocked at Stamford Bridge by Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea before suffering a surprise 3-2 defeat against Crystal Palace at the Etihad on Saturday.
Klopp’s side will eventually have their moment of fright too, maybe when you least expect it. But with Fabinho in the side, it’s certainly less likely to happen.
If reports suggesting Thomas Tuchel wants to bring the former Monaco man back across the channel to France are true, it’s a certainty he’ll have to think again.

Alleged Russian agent Maria Butina, suspected of trying to infiltrate the National Rifle Association and influence US policy toward Russia, has pleaded guilty to one charge of conspiring to act as a foreign agent without registering with the Justice Department, according to NPR.
It was not immediately clear how the deal will be structured for Butina. US District Judge Tanya Chutkan in Washington scheduled a hearing for Wednesday.See the rest of the story at Business Insider

Kostyukov, who used to be the acting head of the GRU, has now fully taken the reigns at the agency, a source told Tass. The assignment was reportedly made by Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu in early December. However, news of it was only made public on Monday, again proving the high secrecy of GRU activities.
There has so far been no official announcement regarding Kostyukov’s new job. If reports are confirmed the 43-year-old will be the first Navy sailor to lead the agency since the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991.
Previous spy chief, Colonel General Igor Korobov, died on November 21 after what the Defense Ministry said was “a long and serious illness.” Media reports claimed that Korobov died from cancer.
He was the second head of the GRU to pass away in the space of just two years after Colonel General Igor Sergun died of heart attack outside Moscow in 2016. However, there was speculation in foreign media that Sergun was actually killed during a top secret mission in Lebanon.
New spy chief Kostyukov has played an important role in planning Russia’s operations in Syria. Last year, he was awarded the highest state honor, the Hero of Russia, for his “bravery and heroism.”
The man, who initially received Navy training, but joined the GRU after graduating from the Military Diplomatic Academy, was blacklisted by the US in 2016 along with other Russian officials.
The GRU has made headlines on numerous occasions in the West in recent years. The US, UK and some European nations have blamed the illusive agency of election meddling, carrying out cyberattacks as well as poisoning former double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in Salisbury this March.
Russia has repeatedly denied the claims, which were not supported by evidence.
Ironically, GRU isn’t even the agency’s actual name, but only the Cold War time abbreviation, by which the West remembers it. The secret service, now headed by Kostyukov, is officially called the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation or GU for short.

Speaking that the agency’s 100th birthday in November, Vladimir Putin suggested that its internationally-recognized old name should be brought back.
“It’s not clear where the word ‘intelligence’ disappeared [to]. Why don’t we go back to the Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU),” the Russian president said.
