This week’s Fortnite challenges have provided a good layer of scavenger hunting to the usual blend of location-based tasks.

As usual, players can earn XP and unlock rewards by completing weekly challenges, which can come in all sorts of shapes and sizes.

And some tasks have proven more popular than others when it comes to completing them for the XP.

This includes the Carnival Clown Board challenge, which appears to be the favourite task of Week 9.

This may have something to do with it offering the most challenge of all the new tasks released this week by Epic Games.

The hard difficulty Fortnite challenges net players ten Battle Stars, while the regular tasks reward fans with five Battle Stars.

Earning Battle Stars levels up your Battle Pass, which is how you unlock all of the rewards on offer.

VISITING CLOWN CARNIVAL BOARDS IN FORTNITE

Visiting three different Clown Carnival Boards is a lot easier when you know exactly where to go on the map.

The Fortnite island isn’t exactly a small place, so getting some help finding the three Carnival Clown Boards isn’t that big a cheat.

When you have found the boards, players will also need to get a score of ten or more.

Fortunately, you don’t need to complete the challenge in a single game, so there’s no need to rush.

Carnival Clown Boards will be busy when the challenges go live, so you might want to avoid these areas for the time being (or get in some sneaky eliminations).

The Clown Boards work like the Whack-a-Mole games you find at fairgrounds, meaning fans will need to activate the board and then use their harvesting tool to burst the balloons as they appear.

Scoring ten on each of the three Clown Carnival Boards will help you complete the challenge.

Fans should also receive a notification when this score has been reached, making it easier to finish.

MAP LOCATIONS FOR THE CLOWN BOARDS

The map locations for these Clown Boards are somewhat clustered together in two different areas of the map.

Two can be found in the North-West of the map, East of Junk Junction at C2 and the other at 4C at the bottom of Pleasant Park.

Another two can be found Central-East of the map, found on I5, east of Lonely Lodge and the other at H7, Northwest of Paradise Palms.

After completing all of these stages, the player should be rewarded with 5 battle stars.

It should be noted that this is not a hard Battle Pass Challenge and is free for everyone to complete, regardless of if you have a battle pass.

We haven’t seen reports of widespread problems with the iPhone 8, but Apple revealed late Friday that it’s opening a Logic Board Replacement Program. According to the company “a very small percentage” of phones sold between September 2017 and March 2018 — the first six months they were on sale — have a manufacturing defect that can lead to restarts, freezes or a failure to start. Of course, when you sell as many phones as Apple does, even a small percentage can add up very quickly, as we’ve seen with previous iPhone flaws like the “no service” iPhone 7 bug or iPhone 6 Plus “touch disease.”

This does not apply to the iPhone 8 Plus or any other model, and owners of devices purchased during that period can hit Apple’s website to check if their device is impacted — if it is, then Apple will replace the phone for free (FYI: physical damage like a cracked screen will need to be fixed first, and that could cost you). If you’d rather wait, then the replacement program will be in force for three years from the first retail sale of a device, and does not extend its warranty.

Boosted has announced a quartet of new electric skateboards, including a refresh of its popular Dual+ longboard and its first-ever shortboard.

The four skateboards are really just two form factors with two variants. There are two new longboards, the Boosted Plus and higher-end Boosted Stealth, and two shortboards, the Boosted Mini S and upgraded Boosted Mini X.

Did you know Paramount is creating a new riff on Nancy Meyers’ romantic comedy What Women Want? This one is called What Men Want, and it stars Taraji P. Henson (Hidden Figures) in the lead role as a woman who can suddenly hear the thoughts of every man she comes in contact with. That already sounds a hundred times better than the original, which, if you’ll recall, starred Mel Gibson as a mind-reading womanizer. (History was not kind to that film.)

But now, the new movie has gained a hilarious new cast member: former Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock star Tracy Morgan. Read about the new Tracy Morgan What Men Want character below.

The Tracking Board reports that Morgan has signed on to join Henson in the new comedy from Paramount Players, a new division of Paramount Pictures that was created last year to increase the studio’s production output.

What Men Want is described as being “inspired by” What Women Want, but it’s unclear whether there will be any actual crossover between the projects (fingers crossed for a Helen Hunt cameo) or if it’ll be its own thing. In this version, Henson will play a sports agent who has been “constantly boxed out by her male colleagues.” But suddenly being able to hear the thoughts of every man she meets gives her a competitive advantage, and she uses it in an attempt to sign the next big NBA superstar.

Morgan will co-star as the NBA star’s father/manager, an impulsive and loud-mouthed manager akin to LaVar Ball, the father of current Los Angeles Lakers player Lonzo Ball. Sounds like a perfect fit for Morgan’s comedic talents.

Interestingly, What Men Want has been on Paramount’s plate for a long time – well before the Paramount Players division was formed last year. Looking back at the /Film archives, we wrote about the project in 2010, when it was intended as a starring vehicle for Cameron Diaz and was described as a direct sequel to the original movie. Diaz is retired now, so while I’m sure we’re all getting a little tired of studios digging up and repackaging all of their existing intellectual property, I’m definitely here for Henson taking over and being joined by a boisterous Morgan on the big screen.

Adam Shankman (The Wedding Planner, A Walk to Remember) will direct and executive produce, and Will Packer and James Lopez are producing. What Men Want will hit theaters on January 11, 2019.

The Waverider team is getting an assist from Matt Ryan’s Constantine in a fresh batch of photos from Legends of Tomorrow‘s winter premiere, titled “Daddy Darhkest.”

In the attached gallery, the demon hunter — who made his first appearance on the time-hopping drama at the close of last December’s fall finale — is seen conversing one-on-one, and rather seriously, with Sara. Constantine also meets the rest of the crew during the episode, which will feature an exorcism, executive producer Phil Klemmer previously teased.

Constantine’s visit won’t be the only shake-up on the timeship when the series returns: Keiynan Lonsdale (aka Wally West) will be joining the show as a regular, beginning with Episode 11, while Franz Drameh (aka Jefferson “Jax” Jackson) has exited the drama.

Legends returns with new episodes — and takes over Supergirl‘s time slot for nine weeks — on Monday, Feb. 12 at 8/7c on The CW.

Oscar winner Charlize Theron guest-stars on next Thursday’s episode (Fox, 9/8c) as Pria, the captain of a stranded spaceship who gets rescued by Ed (Seth MacFarlane) and his shipmates. And in the sneak peek posted above, Pria seems to charm the crew pretty quickly, even planting a kiss on Ed’s cheek. (Jealous yet, Kelly?) But maybe the new arrival’s intentions aren’t all that pure: We later see Ed commanding Pria, “Give me back my ship”… and Pria just glowering at him in response.
