Lately, Giuliani has become an avid foreign policy commentator despite not being authorized by the US president, and his long-time friend, Donald Trump to speak on foreign matters. The former New York City mayor, who was hired by Trump in April to deal exclusively with the Mueller probe, raised eyebrows last month when he implied that the US president was keen on fomenting regime change in Iran. Although the State Department promptly disowned Giuliani’s comments, reports have emerged that Trump is growing increasingly frustrated with Giuliani for getting him bad press.
However, on Wednesday, the lawyer was at it again, telling a business conference in Tel Aviv that Trump has a head start in the much-anticipated meeting with Kim, as it was allegedly the North Korean leader who had to do the begging to get the meeting back on the table.
“Well, Kim Jong-un got back on his hands and knees and begged for it, which is exactly the position you want to put him in,” Giuliani said, as reported by the Wall Street Journal. Considering how Vice President Mike Pence’s remark about a “Libyan scenario” enraged Pyongyang last week, there is a reason to watch out for what comes from Giuliani’s undiplomatic outburst for the future of the Singapore meeting.
The remark has seen Twitter exploding with a predictable barrage of criticism towards Giuliani, with many fearing that his reckless rhetoric could jeopardize the Singapore summit, which was already cancelled once.
Some suggested Giuliani hammered the final nail in the coffin, arguing that there’s no way Kim will not take offense.
Seriously? Are they trying to get Kim Jong Un to cancel the Singapore Summit? Because Giuliani spouting this stuff is a great way to do it.https://t.co/Qr1GTsLjYA
— ♀️ ᵀᴴᴱ 𝑨𝒏𝒕𝒊-𝑻𝒓𝒖𝒎𝒑 (@Im_TheAntiTrump) June 6, 2018
“I’d be surprised if the NK summit still happens after Giuliani said Kim Jong Un got on his knees and begged,” one Twitter user wrote.
Others pointed out that Giuliani’s frequent interventions in matters that he has no expertise in, or is not eligible to speak on, might be a sign of his growing appetite for a senior post at the White House, which Trump is unwilling or unable to provide.
Giuliani desperately wanted to be Secretary of State or AG. Passed over for both positions and reduced to Trump lackey, he is now interfering in sensitive international affairs while lying about legal matters in the US.
Press should cover *that*, not give Giuliani free rein.

Giuliani himself has shown no remorse for risking Trump’s major diplomacy achievement.
He said he does not expect his words to hurt the North Korean leadership so much that they walk out from the summit. “The only ones sensitive about this are the media,” he said in a telephone interview with AP, stressing that his words were “a metaphor” and they have “nothing to do with the administration.”

Lynn, 55, has been a stalwart of the BBC radio show for 18 years.
However, she has now decided it is time to leave after setting her alarm for four in the morning everyday.
As she took part in her last ever show the BBC with Chris, the presenter tried to make the veteran travel expert stick around a bit longer.
He explained how it was Lynn’s last day and as such the show would be dedicated to her.
But cheeky Chris explained: “So she says… Still working on that!”
He went on: “Rip up your resume and I’ll see you in a couple of weeks.
“Take a month off, take a sabbatical, we don’t care so long as [you’re here].”
Later on in the show, Chris sneakily read out some kind tweets from listeners.
Although it seemed he was showing her love, the former Top Gear host was actually trying to sway her.
He insisted: “It’s not over until it’s over!”
President Donald Trump continued his tirade against former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon and author Michael Wolff late Friday night, nearly 24 hours after the release of Wolff’s bombshell book that casts members of the Trump administration as stars of a proverbial reality show in the West Wing.
“Michael Wolff is a total loser who made up stories in order to sell this really boring and untruthful book,” Trump said on Twitter. “He used Sloppy Steve Bannon, who cried when he got fired and begged for his job.”
Trump coined his new nickname for Bannon on Thursday, a day before the release of “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” which has seen robust initial sales. Contained within the pages are several embarrassing details about the Trump administration, including disparaging remarks about members of Trump’s family that attributed to Bannon.
Following the release of several excerpts from the book earlier this week, Trump issued a fiery statement and publicly cut ties with Bannon, mocking him for his ouster from the White House and saying Bannon “lost his mind.”
But Trump wasn’t the only one who distanced himself from the Breitbart News executive following the book’s release. Bannon drew the ire of other conservative figures, including billionaire conservative donor Rebekah Mercer and far-right conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh.
“Now Sloppy Steve has been dumped like a dog by almost everyone,” Trump continued in his tweet. “Too bad!”
Bannon has been tight-lipped amid the blowback, and instead of lashing out against Trump, he appeared to try and curry favor with him during a radio interview.
“The President of the United States is a great man,” Bannon said. “You know I support him day in and day out.”

An angry May stared down MPs as they implied she had botched the snap election in June, and was ultimately forced to go cap-in-hand to the EU to ask for a transition period of two years so the break can be instituted piece by piece.
At a meeting of the Liaison Committee, May appeared to be furious at MPs. Labour’s Yvette Cooper labelled the Brexit team’s Irish border ideas “baffling”. Shaking her head and glaring over her glasses, May defended her negotiation strategy after it was suggested the EU’s lead negotiator Michel Barnier was calling all the shots.
“We are going into a negotiation,” May said.
“What I would say is that the City of London is obviously important to us here in the UK, but actually it is of significant importance to the rest of the EU as well. I think as we come into discussions, there will be a greater recognition of the role the City plays in financial provisions for Europe as a whole, not just the UK.”
May was also defensive over the Irish border and the concessions she made to the EU, ensuring the UK’s only land border with the EU is not a so-called hard border. Energy Select Committee chairman Angus MacNeil claimed May wasted time on an election which cost her the majority in the House of Commons. He believed she was begging Barnier for help.
“I have not begged the EU for two more years,” May insisted. The angery PM said the transition had been under consideration before Britons went to the polls, and had been dreamt up to support businesses to ensure a deal can be struck.
“This is not two more years to negotiate with the EU. This is two years when practically both businesses and governments will be able to put in place the changes necessary to move from the current relationship to the future partnership we will have,” she said.
When she was pressured on trade, May attempted to counter with claims that Brexit staff are “working to” having a deal on the table before March 19, 2019. She also dismissed claims that trade deals cannot be easily formed with 94 countries which are either members of the bloc or have trade agreements with it.
She said: “I and others have made the point in the past that of course we start off at a different point from other third countries… Because we’re already a member and already trading with them on a particular basis.”
“As you will know full well, we can’t legally sign the new trade agreement with the European Union until we’re a third country, until we’re out of the European Union – March 29 2019 – but I believe we can negotiate that arrangement in that time. The reason I’m confident that we can do this within the time concerned is because we start off from a different point.”
“So we haven’t got a situation where country A is coming to negotiate with the EU not having had any arrangements with the EU before,” she said.
“We come from the point where we’re actually a member of the European Union, we’re operating on the same basis at the moment, and therefore I think that starts us off from a different position in terms of our negotiations on trade in the future,” May said.

US President Donald Trump “begged for a nuclear war on the Korean peninsula” during his first trip to Asia, North Korea’s KCNA state news agency quoted the country’s foreign ministry spokesman as saying. He added that Trump showed his “true nature as destroyer of the world peace and stability” on his “warmongering” visit. Following his “lunatic remarks” made in September, Trump “made his conceived attempt yet again to alienate our people from the government and keep up rivalry between the DPRK and the international society,” the spokesman continued. That, according to Pyongyang, only encourages North Korea to “speed up” completing its nuclear armed forces.
Somebody didn’t hear that whistle blowing. (credit: Securities and Exchange Commission Office of the Whistleblower)
Last month, the Securities and Exchange Commission revealed a 2016 breach of a test system that allowed an unknown party to get access to unpublished corporate information in the SEC’s Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval (EDGAR) system. The breach potentially allowed the bad actors to profit from trades based on the information. SEC Chairman Jay Clayton revealed the extent of that breach in a policy statement on the importance of the commission’s cyber-security mission. But just a few months before the SEC discovered the initial breach last year, as Reuters reports, members of the SEC’s own internal digital forensics and security team wrote a letter bemoaning the lack of support they received from the agency’s Office of Information Technology and SEC leadership.
In a memo sent to the SEC’s inspector general, the head of the SEC’s Digital Forensics and Investigations Unit complained that his team was woefully underfunded, undertrained, and forced to work with repurposed equipment and hard drives that had been designated by other branches of the SEC for disposal. The memo to SEC Inspector General Carl Hoecker, shared with Reuters by a congressional staffer, cited “serious deficiencies” in funding and support. The entire hardware budget for the unit was $ 100,000 for fiscal year 2017—half a million under the amount needed.
Normally, complaints to the inspector general of an agency get significant attention. However, in this case, the complaint was directed to Hoeker because he oversaw the unit. The Digital Forensics and Investigation Unit was created by Hoeker in 2015 not just for internal security investigations but so his office could play a role in the SEC’s law enforcement role—providing forensic support to SEC criminal investigations. In a 2016 report to Congress, Hoeker described the role of the unit within the SEC Office of Investigations:

Sarah Lamb pleaded to be placed in a secure adult institution
Sarah Lamb, now 28, was told there was no room in a suitable children’s ward and ended up having to plead to be placed in a secure adult institution, alongside dangerous patients, because she feared she would take her own life.
Sir James Munby, president of the High Court’s family division, said last week that the nation would have “blood on its hands” if an NHS hospital bed could not be found for a suicidal 17-year-old girl known as X.
Yesterday it emerged that a bed has been found for her.
Office administrator Sarah, of Chelmsford, Essex, said the case mirrored her own experiences.
If it were a life-threatening physical health problem like cancer there would be public outrage if doctors said there was no provision or if a patient had to wait six months for proper help
“It’s shocking,” she said.
“If it were a life-threatening physical health problem like cancer there would be public outrage if doctors said there was no provision or if a patient had to wait six months for proper help.
“There should be no difference between a psychiatric problem and a physical one.
“It is not just this girl. There are hundreds of others falling through the cracks and I believe this has already led to many avoidable suicides. Unless something is done, I agree with the judge, there will be more blood on the hands of this nation.”

Sarah lived among sometimes dangerous and aggressive patients
Up to 400 children a year are forced into inappropriate adult psychiatric wards despite ministers outlawing the practice in 2010.
Sarah lived among sometimes dangerous and aggressive patients. One tried to stub out a cigarette on her face.
She had been taken to A&E with self-inflicted injuries on at least 12 occasions in three months before she was admitted to hospital in December 2006.
At this point she begged to be put on an adult ward when doctors told her there were no adolescent units available.
“I said if I go home I know I am going to kill myself. I will have to go on an adult ward. It was scary but I had no choice,” she recalled.
Sarah had been self-harming since she was 14.
Unable to get the help she needed, she tried to take her own life.
“I went upstairs to the bathroom, got a razor blade and tried to cut my artery on my elbow. I felt dizzy and called mum,” she said.

Nikki Mattocks was bullied at school
During her in-patient stays on adult wards she recalled patients shuffling along corridors shouting, a woman smashing a plate and trying to cut herself with the shards and other patients screaming day and night while being restrained by staff.
Sarah suffers severe depression and bipolar disorder.
In a separate case Nikki Mattocks, now 20, of Croydon, south London, told how she began self-harming aged 14 after being persistently bullied at school.
Instead of playing “kiss chase” in her primary school, her classmates would run after her playing “ugly chase”.
She said: “I was picked on until I got to secondary school and I convinced myself I was an awful person.”
Nikki, who now works as a volunteer at mental health charity Rethink, took “countless” overdoses.
“I just wanted to stop the pain,” she said.
She also began hearing voices which told her she was a bad person.
She was referred to psychiatric units in different parts of the country for periods of time ranging from one to five weeks, and she says not having continuity of care, nor being near her family, hampered her recovery.
Figures compiled by the Centre for Mental Health show young women in custody are three times more likely to have mental health conditions.
Many have suffered severe childhood trauma with two out of five suffering violence at home.

Prime Minister Theresa May reportedly “begged” her predecessor David Cameron to back her deal with the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) after she squandered the slim Tory majority he won in 2015.
According to the Times, May called Cameron the day before the £1 billion (US$ 1.3 billion) agreement was struck with the Northern Irish party. Facing the prospect of a backbench rebellion and a leadership challenge, May needs all the support she can get to make her minority government appear tenable.
The relationship between the two Conservative Party leaders has been frosty since May embraced ‘hard Brexit’ and sacked many of Cameron’s allies in the Cabinet when she took power.
Cameron resigned in June 2016 after gambling his political career on the outcome of the EU referendum. May, his home secretary, went on to win the brief but bloody leadership contest that followed.
However, May’s result in the June 8 General Election cost her the stable working majority she inherited from her former boss. Her desperation is becoming apparent to many in her own party.
“There is simply bafflement,” a source close to Cameron told the Times.
“Of course David was polite and grown up and delighted to help. But doesn’t Theresa realize what this looks like? She trashed him in the campaign, has barely spoken to him since becoming prime minister and now has to go cap in hand for his support. It’s shameless.”
Task facing PM, given the circs, is to deliver the most stable govt possible – today’s DUP deal helps achieve that. All Cons should support.
— David Cameron (@David_Cameron) 26 June 2017
It is believed that a tweet posted by the former PM in support of the Tory-DUP deal came shortly after their controversial call.
“Task facing PM, given the circs, is to deliver the most stable govt possible – today’s DUP deal helps achieve that. All Cons should support,” Cameron tweeted around noon on June 26. By 2pm the deal was officially signed by the two parties.

READ MORE: 3 attackers shot dead after killing 7, injuring at least 48 in London LIVE UPDATES
Eyewitnesses said that the three assailants were driving over London Bridge in a nondescript Hertz rental van, when they accelerated to “about 50mph,” according to Holly Jones, a BBC journalist, caught in the attack.
“We thought it was a car accident but as we got closer we could see a lot of blood and bodies. There was a pregnant woman on the right who was severely injured and on the left there was a man being resuscitated, but he started breathing. We don’t know whether the woman survived,” one witness told the Guardian.
One more witness identified as Eric Siguenza told the BBC that three men “jumped out of the van and that’s when they started attacking people on the road.”
“As they headed down the stairs, as they were running towards the people, they were shouting, ‘This is for Allah,’” he said.
They were just yards from Borough Market, a popular nightspot. It was just after 10pm, minutes after the Champions League Final wrapped up in Cardiff, and the streets were full of revelers.
The violence occurred in full view of hundreds of onlookers.
“I saw a man in red with quite a large blade, I don’t know the measurement, I guess maybe 10 inches. He was stabbing a man… he stabbed him about three times fairly calmly,” an eyewitness, who identified himself as Ben, told The Telegraph.“It looked like the man had maybe been trying to intervene but there wasn’t much that he could do, he was being stabbed quite coldly and he slumped to the ground.”
“They stabbed this girl maybe 10 times, 15 times. She was going, ‘Help me, help me,’” an eyewitness named Gerard told the BBC, saying that he lobbed a bottle at the assailants to try to scare them off.
Many sought refuge in the cafes in the market square. But safety was temporary, as the attackers went inside the cafes, stabbing indiscriminately.
“He stabbed her in the neck,” eyewitness Elsbeth Smedley told CNN, recounting an attack on a waitress. “He stabbed another man in the back, and then he ran out of the restaurant.”
Police said that they received the first call about the attack at 10:08pm. An armed unit was dispatched immediately. Eyewitnesses described a cacophony of gunfire. Within eight minutes, the three stabbers were dead. The canisters the terrorists had strapped to their bodies were crude fakes.
The manager of a pub in the vicinity of the attack told RT that armed police stormed into the building and “basically asked us to leave.” A woman in the pub said the experience was “terrifying,” and that she could see a person lying on the ground from the window.
Another witness, a young man, told RT that he was on the bridge at the time the carnage took place, and saw a man being arrested by police just next to him. He was, however, unable to describe the man, as his face was covered with a hood.
“I did not really see. I tried to snap it but I just had been told to run,” he said.
Shortly after the attack, police issued a ‘Run, Hide, Tell’ warning for civilians, designed as a response to mass attacks in public places.
The local underground station was shut, hospitals were placed on shutdown, and the entire district cordoned off. People were forced to walk with hands on their heads, police stopped and searched suspicious groups, and tourists wandered around, unable to return to their hotels.
