Ken (played by William Roache) has been a pinnacle figure of Coronation Street since the show began airing six decades ago and has always resided at his beloved No.1. Recent months have seen him up sticks and join partner Claudia Colby (Rula Lenska) at the Stillwaters retirement complex, only for the pair to split during last week’s episodes of the ITV soap when he decided the cobbles was where he belonged. However, with daughter Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) now the lady of the manor, could a discovery about the property in the latest instalment of the Weatherfield-based drama reveal the stalwart could have no home at all? After it was revealed in the soap’s 10,000th episode Ken was moving on, his children Tracy and Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) began bidding on who would claim their childhood home as their own. It was eventually the former and her husband Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) who got their hands on No.1, moving in with daughter Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) when the stalwart began living at Stillwaters. Following his split from Claudia, however, the Weatherfield icon returned to what is his daughter’s home last week and it already seemed he was a stranger in what was once his house. As he tried to settle back into a routine during Monday evening’s episode, having been demoted to somewhat of a guest, a dispute about who the owner of the property is could lead the soap legend to end up on the streets. READ MORE: Coronation Street spoilers: Craig Tinker put in danger in shock twist? At the beginning of the episode, it was revealed there was a problem with the boiler as Amy had a cold shower and didn’t hold back in letting her mother and grandfather know how she felt about the issue. Tracy then called on a plumber to come and have a look, who explained there was something wrong and it would cost a fair bit to fix. After sending the maintenance man away, the florist voiced her anguish to her father, telling him: “Did you hear how much it’s all going to cost? The best part of two and a half grand.” Ken replied: “Well, I’m sorry to hear it’s going to cost so much, but don’t expect me to put my hand in my pocket.” “Oh, I wouldn’t dare, dad,” Tracy hit back, adding: “I’d be too scared a load of moths would fly out. “But it is your responsibility,” she told her father, to which he asked: “Oh yeah, how do you work that out?” “Well, you’re the one who keeps banging on about how the house is still yours,” his daughter explained. “You made it perfectly clear that the house very much belongs to you and to you alone, so actually Tracy, over to you,” the stalwart remarked, pushing the responsibility back onto her shoulders. DON’T MISS… Adding his pennies worth in, Peter said: “He’s right, you did say that,” to which Tracy’s reply wasn’t too pleasant given her brother was defending their father. With it looking ever more likely the florist will have to foot the bill for the boiler repairs, she could take action against Ken’s reluctance to help. Given she believes she is the owner of No.1 Coronation Street, the manipulating character could decide she no longer wants Ken living under her roof. If his daughter really does throw him out for failing to pay up, will the stalwart end up homeless as he has nowhere else to go? Could this have been the big storyline Executive Producer Iain MacLeod was hinting at when he said a “horrifically difficult” sequence of events would bestow upon the Barlow household? Speaking with Metro.co.uk, the soap boss said: “Having re-established Steve and Tracy’s relationship on its strongest footing, something will happen that probably has the most far-reaching impact of any story we’ve done since I’ve been on the show.” With nowhere to live, will the soap stalwart end up going missing and leave his family and his neighbours in turmoil over his wellbeing? Or will the pensioner fight back and reclaim No.1 as his own, forcing Tracy to move back to her old flat with Steve and Amy? Coronation Street continues Wednesday at 7:30pm on ITV. Coronation Street fans watched on as Kate (played by Faye Brookes) found another man for her “sperm donor” plan during tonight’s continuation. However, before that, Kate and Rana (Bhavna Limbachia) had a blazing row after the nurse admitted she doesn’t want a baby at all. In the Bistro, Kate bit her tongue when Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh) innocently talked about her and Robert Preston’s (Tristan Gemmill) baby plans. Kate then called in to Adam Barlow’s (Sam Robertson) office and explained her deal with Robert is off. But in an unexpected soap twist, Adam cracked open a bottle of scotch, with Kate instantly creating a new plan in her mind. Fuelled by alcohol, a determined Kate seduced Adam into kissing her passionately. She was then seen to undo his belt to remove his clothes before the first part of tonight’s episode finished. As part two picked up just moments later, it revealed the pair didn’t take it any further. But this didn’t stop the rumours flying around and coming back to bite her. Kate’s moment of madness came back to haunt her when Rana found out the truth. Rana insisted she didn’t want to break up with Kate, but later Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) told Rana that Imran saw Kate and Adam “getting frisky” in the office. Rana confronted Kate and insisted their relationship is truly over, as Kate insisted she “didn’t have sex” with Adam. Kate said: “Yeah, I know I was wrong to let him kiss me, but my head was all over the place. This year has been…” as Rana snapped: “No. Don’t use Aidan [Connor] as an excuse! “So what, now you’re suddenly bisexual then? So you weren’t attracted to him, but you had your tongue down his throat? Am I missing something here?” Kate then insisted it was only because she wanted a baby, but Rana flipped that it was “all about her”. She screamed: “It’s all about you and what you want. What about me? What about us? “I mean, what did you think I was going to say when you turned up pregnant? Or did you just not care?” Kate cried: “I love you,” as Rana replied: “Maybe just not enough. Honestly, I can’t see a way past this. You do what you need to do. But we’re over.” Rana then stormed out as Kate broke down in tears. Could the pair be over for good? Coronation Street continues on Wednesday on ITV at 7.30pm. Coronation Street’s Peter Barlow (played by Chris Gascoyne) has certainly had his fair share of women on the soap. He’s been through three women already in serious relationships and has broken many more hearts along the way. However, in the coming weeks, he will set his eyes on a new lady. It is believed Peter will fall into the lap of Abi Franklin (Sally Carmen) in 2019. According to The Sun, the Corrie bad boy will be a part of a hilarious new sketch over Christmas. When asked about the upcoming storyline, Sally hinted it will be a saucy affair indeed. The actress teased: “I’m ringing that man’s bell like Quasimodo on steroids.” She went on: “It’s like being with a randy octopus.” A soap source added to the publication: “Abi seems to want a full-blown relationship but clearly Peter is just up for sex. “It’ll play out in the New Year, before Peter’s other big storyline which sees his boat go up in flames.” There will be more drama over the months for the Barlows as they find themselves in the middle of an horrific fire. Peter planned to go away on his canal boat for a couple months with Simon (Alex Bain). But disaster strikes when the vessel goes up in flames, leaving Simon and Peter caught in the action. Will one of them perish in the fire? Chris has since spoken about a potential exit for Peter, revealing how he would like to see him die. He is a historical alcoholic and as such Chris thinks he could go out drinking. However, could his plan be completely scuppered by a mid-life crisis? “He’s always had a crisis, I don’t think mid-life is any different. You’d think it would be a car, but it’s not, it’s a boat, Chris told press including Express.co.uk. “He sees the boat as way to be himself and leave, but it’s a dream.” Coronation Street continues tonight on ITV at 7.30pm and 8.30pm Tracy Barlow (played by Kate Ford) finally told Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) she was responsible for getting her in trouble with the police, in last night’s episode of Coronation Street. The florist owner admitted she tampered with Michelle Connor’s (Kym Marsh) car, which led to a deadly car crash last month. She feared going to prison and let Abi take the blame for the malfunction of the vehicle, which resulted in her being arrested and losing custody of her young twins. In the latest instalment of the ITV series, Abi relapsed – retuning to drink and drugs to cope with the trauma of having her children taken away from her. During the show, the distraught mother-of-three found out what Tracy had done and told her son Seb (Harry Visinoni), who, then, trashed Tracy’s floral shop. Protecting her son, Abi took the blame for the wreckage at Preston’s Petals when the authorities turned up. Later, Tracy discovered Seb was the real culprit and arrived at No.11 to tell Abi she knew he did it. “I get that you’re trying to protect Seb, but you have to tell them it was him,” Tracy told Abi after she was pulled through the doorway. Then, the businesswoman tried to explain why she let Abi take the wrap for her mistake, however the angry mechanic did not accept her explanation. Threwing Tracy up against the wall, she sneered: “You tell anybody it was Seb, anybody and I will destroy your family one by one starting with Amy.” “Oh yeah, I’ll do it alphabetically. Now get out,” she shouted, with Tracy left shaken by the encounter. Will Abi really take matters into her own hands and tear Tracy’s family apart bit-by-bit? However, fans of the show suspect Tracy might contract HIV after coming into contact with Seb’s blood when she touched a broomstick. Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: “Tracy is going to be at risk of HIV now,” while another said: “Poor Tracy has caught Seb’s HIV.” A third tweeted: “What if Tracy has a cut on her finger! Karma would really come back to bite her.” Someone else commented: “Tracy touched the sweeping brush that Seb’s blood was on and Seb has HIV. I am fearing for Tracy now.” Another commentator said: ”Tracy is going to get HIV now,” while a sixth person penned: “Abi or tracy to get HIV off that broom handle?” Meanwhile, Somebody else asked: “Is nobody else concerned that Seb has HIV and Tracy touched his blood?” Another stated: “Oh dead, blood on the broom Tracy and he is HIV.” Coronation Street continues Friday on ITV at 7.30pm and 8.30pm. Daniel Osbourne (played by Rob Mallard) will steep to a new low when his proposal to girlfriend Sinead Tinkler (Katie McGLynn) is overshadowed by Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson and Tracy Barlow’s (Kate For) own engagement. The waiter has been shacked up in one small house with Sinead and Flora McArdle (Eileen Davies) for sometime in Coronation Street, but when Flora finds out she has been left £250,00 by her late son she decides to buy a place of her own. As a parting gift, Flora will hand Daniel a ring in the hope that he will finally make an honest woman of Sinead. “Having seen that their love is real, Flora decides to pass on a ring which is a family heirloom and that basically orchestrates the whole proposal,” actor Rob Mallard said. “Daniel had considered asking Sinead to marry him when he first asked her to move in but she said it was too soon and that knocked his confidence.” Daniel is convinced Sinead is the right person for him to start a family with and is eager to make it official. Speaking to Soaplife, Rob explained: “Daniel would still like a family of his own in the future but given where he was a year ago, he can’t believe he’s at the point he is now. “Sinead is 100 percent the woman for him and he’s keen to seal the deal.” With a newfound confidence and an expensive piece of jewellery in tow, Daniel will kneel down on bended knee and propose to Sinead. This time the blonde beauty will accept his proposal, but just as everything appears to be going well Steve and Tracy announce their engagement. Daniel is understandably peeved off as this was his and Sinead’s moment and the former pub owner and florist have stolen their limelight. “Daniel becomes quite petulant,” Rob revealed. “Everyone is trying to be diplomatic but Daniel just wants them all to see Steve’s proposal as a sham and his as the real deal.” “He feels it has diluted his moment. There’s more to it than this, though,” he teased. To punish Steve for ruining his moment, Daniel tells Tracy that Steve and Michelle kissed on Michelle’s wedding day. Explaining how the scene unfolds, he stated: “Daniel has had a run-in with Tracy. He and Tracy have never got on. “He is furious when she starts lying and sucking up to the now-wealthy Flora in the hope Flora will invest in Tracy’s florists. “Daniel hits back by revealing Steve kissed Michelle on Michelle’s wedding day.” Will Tracy call off the engagement after discovering Steve has been unfaithful? Or, will she walk down the aisle regardless. Also, what will this mean for Michelle and Robert Preston’s relationship? Could this be the end for them? Coronation Street continues tonight on ITV at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.

The Coronation Street florist hit out at the vicar and his adopted daughter Summer Spellman (played by Matilda Freeman) as she claimed she didn’t want an addict living near to her business.
After Billy (Daniel Brocklebank) fell from a cliff on Christmas Day, he suffered an addiction to painkillers before he succumbed to a heroin addiction.
While he is trying to recover from his addiction, Tracy (Kate Ford) didn’t help by booting them out of their flat.
Billy was seen stood on the pavement outside being berated by Tracy.
She was heard warning him: “I don’t want an addict living above my shop.
“Once a junkie, always a junkie. Consider yourself evicted.”
However, fans of the long-running ITV soap were fuming as they recalled Tracy’s drug addiction in 1995.
Tracy became ill after she took an ecstasy pill and had to have an operation for a new kidney.
Fans were quick to point out her forgotten drugs past.
Others noted that Tracy had also killed her boyfriend and tried to sell daughter Amy to Roy Cropper.
Taking to Twitter to comment on the plot hole, one viewer shared: “Tracy, think of your past. Why did you have to get a new kidney? #corrie.”
“Once a junkie, always a junkie, I think Tracy has forgot her ecstasy habit #corrie,” a second wrote.
A third continued: “You would think Tracy would be less judgemental. How would she like it if people went around throwing it in her face that she murdered her boyfriend or tried to sell her own baby? #Corrie.”
Someone else added: “#Corrie “Once a junkie, always a junkie”. Is our Tracy forgetting she used to be one?”
“Hang on – didn’t Tracy actually kill someone and she is judging Billy? #Corrie,” a fifth noted.
Fortunately for Billy, Tracy finally gave in and allowed him to stay in the flat.
Elsewhere on the street, Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) was stunned when she found out the identity of David’s (Jack P Shepherd) new girlfriend.
Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell), who has now moved into the Platt family home, was in the year above the teen at school.
Bethany was unsurprisingly unimpressed when she also learned Emma would be working alongside her at the salon.
Coronation Street continues Friday on ITV at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.

John Perry Barlow, a co-founder of the Electronic Frontier Foundation, rancher, and lyricist for the Grateful Dead, died Wednesday at the age of 70.
The San Francisco-based digital rights advocacy organization said that it was mourning the loss of its co-founder.
“It is no exaggeration to say that major parts of the Internet we all know and love today exist and thrive because of Barlow’s vision and leadership,” Cindy Cohn, the group’s executive director, wrote in a blog post. “He always saw the Internet as a fundamental place of freedom, where voices long silenced can find an audience and people can connect with others regardless of physical distance.”

The vicar (played by Daniel Brocklebank) was recently revealed as the culprit behind Susan Barlow’s (Katie Heannau) death, with Peter (Chris Gascoyne) taking it upon himself to sort Billy out once and for all last night.
Billy plunged from the edge of a cliff but miraculously lived to fight another day – much to the disbelief of the viewers at home.
During the latest instalment of Coronation Street, Ken (William Roache) put Billy in his place with an impassioned speech.
As Billy scrambled over this words, Ken snapped: “I don’t want to hear it. She was my child. You have no idea of the pain of losing something so precious.”
He continued: “You don’t only owe me. You owe Peter and Adam (Sam Robertson) as well, and now I’m calling in the debt.
“Whatever Peter put you through, it’s nothing compared to what you put us through.”
“He nearly killed me,” Billy cried, which was met with a brutal unsympathetic: “But he didn’t.”
“If anybody asks [what happened on the cliff], you fell. Anybody. You understand?” Ken finished.
While Ken may have terrified Billy, viewers were in stitches as they compared the soap patriarch to a string of gangster icons.
“Friday’s episode Billy wakes up with a horses head next to him #corrie,” chuckled one audience member, as another teased: “Ken’s gone De Niro.”
“Is Ken Barlow the Godfather of Weatherfield?” asked a third, which was followed by: “Ken Barlow acting like Tony Soprano.”
“Who does Ken think he is, The Godfather?” added one more.
Coronation Street continues tomorrow at 7.30pm on ITV.
