"Elvis," a new movie about the rock and roll legend, is now available to stream on HBO Max. You can also buy the movie for $ 20 from services like Prime Video, Vudu, and YouTube.
Austin Butler stars as Elvis Presley in the drama, which chronicles the singer's life from his early days to his rise toward rock and roll stardom. The movie also features Tom Hanks as Colonel Tom Parker, Elvis' longtime manager.
The movie also stars Olivia DeJonge as Priscilla Presley, with Helen Thomson and Richard Roxburgh appearing as Elvis' parents. Baz Luhrmann, who is known for films like "Moulin Rouge!," "Romeo + Juliet," and "The Great Gatsby," directs from a screenplay he co-wrote.
Reviews for "Elvis" are mostly positive, with critics praising Butler's performance. Members of the Presley family have also shared positive thoughts on the film. As of writing, it has a "78% Certified Fresh" rating on review-aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.
"Elvis" is now available to watch at home with an HBO Max subscription for no additional cost. Both the ad-supported ($ 10 a month) and ad-free ($ 15 a month) plans will give you access to the film.
If you're not a subscriber, you can also get the movie through digital retailers like Amazon, Vudu, YouTube, and Apple TV. The film costs $ 20 to buy in up to 4K quality.

"Elvis" has a running time of two hours and 39 minutes.
Yes. According to an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Austin Butler sings all of Elvis' early music in the film. For songs from the later years in the singer's career, Butler's voice is blended with Elvis himself.
"Elvis" is rated PG-13 for scenes including substance abuse, strong language, smoking, and suggestive material.

Netflix’s newest romantic comedy is fun, addictive and an excellent reminder of the power of pen on paper in a world dominated by social media. But more than any of that, it’s Christmas porn.
Set and filmed in New York City at Christmastime (production wrapped in December 2019), Dash & Lily is a bittersweet escape into a pre-pandemic holiday wonderland, one where differences are forgotten, love conquers all and you never know when you might find yourself at a Jonas Brothers concert.
Star Austin Abrams always knew that the New-York-at-Christmas aspect of the show would be a huge draw, noting that showrunner Joe Tracz was “adamant about all the locations being as authentic a possible,” but he could never have predicted the additional emotional value of displaying a world without the coronavirus. “That turned out to be one of the show’s biggest strengths, which we had no idea was going to happen,” Abrams tells TVLine. “But I am happy that it does supply people with that nostalgic feeling.”
The magic begins in Episode 1 at famed NYC bookstore The Strand, where Abrams’ character — a wealthy, mildly pretentious teenage Grinch named Dash — discovers a mysterious red notebook left by a romantic, Christmas-loving stranger named Lily (played by Midori Francis). She promises to reveal more about herself if he completes a series of dares, from doing a dramatic reading of Joni Mitchell’s “River” in front of the entire bookstore to boldly carrying around a copy of The Joys of Gay Sex. Any way you shake it, it’s hardly a typical experience at The Strand.
“It was crazy to be in these places and have free rein,” Abrams says of the many iconic New York landmarks featured in the show’s first season, from Macy’s Herald Square to Grand Central Station. “You’re used to walking through tons of people everywhere, so it was really crazy to be able to walk around and have it all to yourself.”
Following a failed sting operation and a traumatic brawl with a department store Santa, Dash ends the premiere on a high note, having finally nabbed a clue about Lily’s secret identity — her first name. What transpires in the following handful of episodes is an endearing back-and-forth between two people who won’t meet face-to-face for quite some time.
“The production schedule very much mirrored the show in that aspect,” Abrams says. “I’d show up to shoot my scenes, and [Midori] would leave. Then it would be her turn, and I’d leave. So it was very similar to how the show is. She and I have such a great connection, so I wish we had more scenes together, but I do love that the audience gets to put everything together along with the characters.”

Queen icon Brian Mercury said it was a conscious decision to end the film on a triumphant note with Live Aid. Of course, everyone knows how the story ends on November 24, 1991. Mary kept vigil in the final weeks with Freddie’s current partner Jim Hutton, and a tight group of friends, including Dave Clark and former boyfriend Joe Fanelli. Freddie decided to stop his medications, only taking pain medication and Mary reveals the heartbreaking reason why.
In a rare interview, she said: “I saw a man become incredibly brave. I saw a man become incredibly emotional at times.
“I saw depths of this person that was an exaggeration of what was, that had been there primarily all those years. And I respected and admired him even more.”
Mary believes that Freddie chose not to fight his illness anymore for one important reason that expressed him up as an artist, an icon and as the man who inspired millions and was always true to himself.
Mary said: “He’d given himself a limit and I think personally that when he couldn’t record any more, or have the energy to do it anymore, then it would be the end.
“Because his life really had been his work and I think his joy had been that. I think without it he wouldn’t have been strong enough to face what he had to face.
“So, he did it on his own terms.”
BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY; MARY SHOCKED FREDDIE WITH HER REACTION WHEN HE CAME OUT AS GAY
Freddie and Queen famously recorded one last album, Innuendo, in Lausanne, Switzerland.
All those who were there paid testament to Freddie’s determination to create one last body of work, one last expression of his artistry and his love of the music. There was one last gift for fans when Queen released Made In Heaven, four years after his death, featuring material he worked on in those last sessions.
While only Mary knows where Freddie’s ashes lie, it is fitting that there is a famous bronze sculpture of the beloved icon standing on the shores of Lake Geneva.
It seems incredible there is still no official memorial for Freddie. Not just to mark his incredible impact on popular entertainment, but also a place for fans to go and pay their respects. Only Mary apparently knows where his ashes lie, in accordance with his wishes, and there is a plinth at West London Crematorium, where his memorial service was held. Even Mary has publicly asked why there is no UK memorial. Watch her pay tribute to her friend and former partner in a moving meeting with fans outside his house on the anniversary of his death.
Bohemian Rhapsody showed Freddie and Mary living opposite each other to the end. He left his London mansion, Garden Lodge at 1 Logan Place, to Mary in his will and she still lives there with her family.
It is a place of pilgrimage for fans, especially on the anniversary of the star’s death on November 24, 1991.
One year after Freddie died tragically young at 45, Mary met with fans outside the walls of the home and told them: “It’s great, it’s wonderful that you’re here. I’m just so sorry that there isn’t a memorial or somewhere for you to pay your respects.”
Asked about where she thought a memorial should go, Mary replied: “I don’t know. I just wish there would be one somewhere. I wish the persons responsible would just hurry up and get one organised.
“It’s been a long time. Even the poorest of the poor have one. It’s about time he had one, too.”
She also shared the profound way the anniversary affected her, that she almost felt she was back there on the day he died holding his hand. Mary was one of the close group who kept vigil in the last days. Freddie’s close friend Dave Clark of the Dave Clark Five was there when he died in the early evening and called Mary, who then let the family know.
Mary told the gathered fans: “Today I think I was still with him… and so for me, I’m still there holding his hand…. It won’t be until about seven this evening, when I received the phone call, that it will hit home.”
Asked how she was coping, Mary replied: “The same as any of you I suppose. You guys have found it hard, haven’t you? We all know how we feel so at least we can empathise.”
Despite almost never talking to the press or in public about their relationship, Mary remains beloved of the fans who recognise the incredible love she shared with their hero.
Freddie called her “Love of My Life” in public and in song and that love continues to inspire.
As for a memorial, there is a famous statue of Freddie Mercury in Montreux, where the band recorded their final album, Days of Our Lives.

Lewis Hamilton can win his fifth world title tonight if he finishes eight points above Sebastian Vettel.
The Brit’s ideal scenario will be to secure the Drivers’ Championship with his 10th race win of the season – but that will need to come coupled with Vettel finishing third or below.
Hamilton will start from pole position after wrapping up the fastest lap in qualifying.
But Vettel, who was marginally slower than his Mercedes rival, will incur a three-place grid penalty for speeding during a red flag in practice, so he has been pushed down to fifth.
His Ferrari team-mate Kimi Raikkonen joins Hamilton on the front row, while Valtteri Bottas and Daniel Ricciardo complete the top four.
And Hamilton was delighted to secure his spot at the front of the grid.
“That was very important. That was close,” he said after qualification.
“I didn’t know how close it was going to be once we got to qualifying but obviously when we went into that last run I knew it would be quite edgy between us and it would require quite solid laps.”
6.45pm: A quick reminder of how the top 10 will line up; Hamilton, Raikkonen, Bottas, Ricciardo, Vettel, Ocon, Hulkenberg, Grosjean, Leclerc, Perez
6.40pm: Mercedes are pinning their hopes on Valtteri Bottas overtaking Kimi Raikkonen early on to try and slow down the chasing pack.
Team boss Toto Wolff also says he would not be afraid of telling the Finn to give up his position if he finds himself ahead of Hamilton.
“The objective of Valtteri is to go for it at the beginning,” said Toto Wolff. “He hasn’t got a lot to lose and can show a strong race.”
“We have been discussing that and struggling so much with the decision.
“Eventually when it comes on Sunday, I probably would go for the points but in my heart I hate it. Let’s see how Sunday goes.”
6.30pm: Sebastian Vettel has just spoken on his way to the grid and he is still targeting a win tonight while also hoping team-mate Kimi Raikkonen can slow the Brit down on the opening lap.
“If [Raikkonen] can get a good start then maybe he can be a challenge,” Vettel said.
“For me it is pretty clear, I know I need to win. Unfortunatly it depends a lot on what Lewis is doing.
“For me, I am still racing for the Championship so I need to win.”
6.15pm: Mercedes had a slight worry an hour ago as they raced to change the water pumps on both of Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas’ cars after a leak was found.
The new pumps have been replaced by “old, proven pumps of the same spec.”
Meanwhile, Max Versappen has had a new gearbox fitted after it broke during Q1 yesterday.
The Dutchman will incur a five-place grid penalty so will start from 18th.
6pm: Good evening and welcome to the Circuit of the Americas where Lewis Hamilton can equal Juan Manuel Fangio’s record of five world titles.
The Brit can also take his tally to within two of the legendary Michael Schumacher’s record – but first he must fend off the challenge of Ferrari who looked to have turned a corner this weekend.
The Prancing Horse were quicker in FP3 and they came close to snatching pole position themselves in qualifying.
But Sebastian Vettel’s grid penalty means he must fight his way from fifth on the grid – but if he can climb to second it will postpone Hamilton’s celebrations.

Many people take identification for granted, but it’s a serious challenge if you’re homeless. If you lose what’s on your back, you might lose everything — and recovering that ID is much harder when you have no fixed address or easy transportation to government offices. Austin might have a technological solution. The Texas city is piloting a system that uses blockchain identifiers to safeguard the IDs and vital records of homeless people in a way that’s more accessible for service providers.
Similar to Microsoft’s digital ID initiative, the distributed and encrypted nature of blockchain would make records accessible virtually anywhere while preserving security. Workers could verify someone’s ID on the street, for example, while a clinic could quickly check a patient’s history even if it’s their first visit to that location.
There are some security concerns about a system like this. You’d need to be certain when authenticating an ID holder, since a fraudster might have access to a huge range of info. If the pilot is successful in ironing out this and other issues, however, this could be crucial to not only providing better services to the homeless, but helping them escape homelessness. When your identification is safe, you can tap into social assistance and job programs on a consistent basis and focus on creating a better future.

The Walking Dead star Austin Amelio has hinted that his character Dwight could be growing tired of living under the reign of Negan (played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and could be about to finally take revenge.
Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, the actor opened up about what he envisions for Dwight for the remainder of the series and his long-term plan.
“I don’t think he has a long-term plan right now,” he commented.
“I think he’s kind of living in the day-to-day and I think he knows he could go at any moment with the moves he’s making but I think, I’ve talked about it so much but he’s a good guy in a bad spot.
“I think if he knows his time is coming that he wants some redemption or he wants to do something good for the world.”
Austin went on to add: “I think that is getting rid of Negan and that’s consuming his mind right now.”
When asked if he’d like to see Dwight reunite with his wife Sherry (Christine Evangelista), who ran away from the Sanctuary in season seven, he replied: “Long-term sure.
“A nice honeymoon with Sherry would be nice but I guess that would be long-term that he would like to get back with his wife.
“You’re living in a pretty dangerous world so I think he’s just focussing on what he can do just now.”
The 29-year-old also revealed that he tries to avoid watching himself on TV.
“I can’t objectively watch it the first time because I’m just looking at my performance,” he noted.
“But maybe the second or third time but then that is already too many times that I’ve seen myself.
“I get sucked into the show because my lady watches it and we’ll sit on the couch and watch it.
“But as soon as I know my scene is coming up, I’m like, ‘Oh I’m gonna go get a glass of water’.”
In the trailer for episode 15, Worth, Dwight can be seen looking surprised when Negan returns to the Sanctuary compound.
“Surprised to see me?” the villain asks Dwight, who is smoking in the courtyard.
The brief clip hints that his loyalty could be tested in the upcoming episode.
Simon’s (Steven Ogg) loyalty may also be taken into question after he went rogue and attacked the Hilltop in a previous instalment.
The official summary reads: “Aaron continues searching for allies; Daryl and Rosita take action and comfort an old friend.”
The Walking Dead continues Monday on FOX at 9pm.
