New Year’s Day in EastEnders would not be the same if there were no drama, tears or tantrums and there are plenty of each in the BBC soap’s January 1 episode.

Actor Sean Mahon, who plays Ray Kelly in the drama series, has hinted at a gruesome end for his on-screen wife Mel Owen (played by Tamzin Outhwaite).

The couple are due to marry on the first day of 2019, but Mel has been plotting revenge on Ray every since she discovered he is married to two other women.

In fact, the sneaky lothario is hiding not one, but two secret families from his bride-to-be and her son Hunter (Charlie Winter).

It is said his lies will blow up in his face on their wedding day when Mel ousts him as a bigamist in Albert Square.

But her actions could have deadly consequences, as Sean teased some of his character’s dark traits during an interview with Metro.

“He’s a dangerous person, and I think if you’re married to a dangerous person it doesn’t bode well,” the soap star began.

“If you push a rabid dog into a corner they’re going to come at you very, very fast.”

Hinting Ray may react violently to being exposed by Mel, he added: “As is the case with any decent story, if you’re going to pin him into a corner, he’s going to come out swinging.”

On the day of her nuptials, Mel will learn Ray has not only been cheating on her with multiple women, but is a murderer.

She is planning to expose him on their special day, but could the shock discovery change her decision?

Sean divulged: “The way it’s set up is that the wedding is a set up for Ray, so Mel can win the day.

“On the wedding day, some events happen that may challenge her ability to win the day.”

Tamzin Outhwaite, who portrays Mel in the BBC soap, previously spoke out about the dark New Year’s Day scenes.

Speaking to the press including Express.co.uk, she admitted: “I’m not sure I would want my children to watch it if you know what I mean.”

“It’s like a horror or the darker side of EastEnders.

“It can be scary. I mean I haven’t seen it but I know when we were doing it I was scared.”

The showdown between Mel and Ray is set to take place at night in a spooky woodland.

However, Tamzin remained tipped lipped about what viewers can expect to see from the action in the woods.

EastEnders continues tonight on BBC One at 8pm.

Pardo Breaks Down EZ's Major Finale Decision: 'He's Going to Start Living Life for Himself' https://briefnews.eu/mayans-star-j-d-pardo-breaks-down-ezs-major-finale-decision-hes-going-to-start-living-life-for-himself/ https://briefnews.eu/mayans-star-j-d-pardo-breaks-down-ezs-major-finale-decision-hes-going-to-start-living-life-for-himself/#respond Wed, 07 Nov 2018 04:24:37 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/mayans-star-j-d-pardo-breaks-down-ezs-major-finale-decision-hes-going-to-start-living-life-for-himself/ The following article contains spoilers for the Season 1 finale of Mayans MC.

EZ Reyes had a chance to, quite literally, ride off into the sunset on Tuesday’s season finale of Mayans MC — but when the opportunity arose, he just couldn’t take it.

Episode 10 of the FX drama was a major one for J.D. Pardo’s protagonist, who was tasked with killing DEA agent Kevin Jimenez in order to get his name cleared and move on with his post-Mayans life. Despite multiple pleas from their father not to kill Kevin (and avoid becoming monsters at the hands of Lincoln Potter), EZ and Angel did go through with murdering the agent. Larry Bowen, Kevin’s colleague at the DEA, was also caught in the crossfire and killed.

Pleased that EZ had held up his end of the bargain, Potter made good on his part of the deal, as well: He made a quick and cryptic phone call to the DEA, and just like that, all of the agency’s files on EZ were wiped as though they never existed at all. EZ was handed the chance to walk away from the Mayans and get back to his pre-prison lifestyle; even Angel, who was still furious about EZ’s deal with the DEA, knew it was the right thing for EZ to put the motorcycle club in his past for good.

EZ, however, came up with a different plan. Instead of turning in his cut, he went to Bishop and asked the chapter president to be his sponsor within the club instead of Angel. “I don’t know who the f—k I am anymore, Angel,” EZ told his brother, who wasn’t pleased to learn that EZ was staying in the club, after all. “But I know I’m not supposed to run. So I’m not going anywhere.”

Unfortunately, EZ’s optimism was short-lived. At the end of the episode, the Mayans were joined by a few SAMCRO members, including Sons of Anarchy character Happy Lowman, who will be supplying the Galindo cartel with guns. All of the Mayans were thrilled to see Happy and his SAMCRO crew, except for EZ. As we learned via flashback in the finale’s closing moments, Happy is the man responsible for killing EZ’s mother eight years ago.

TVLine caught up with Pardo to discuss the finale’s biggest moments, including EZ’s decision to stay put with the Mayans. Read on for his insights into the episode.

Mayans MC Season 1 FinaleTVLINE | The opportunity to leave the Mayans and get on with his life is presented to EZ on a silver platter in this finale. Why do you think he decides to stay, despite the relief of seeing the DEA’s files on him get wiped?
I think what drives him is what he says to Angel. When I was inside [prison], it was about me and trying to get my life back. But since I’ve been outside, it’s been about [Angel] and Felipe and Emily and the club. It’s a moment where EZ is starting to get comfortable with the fact that things happen for a reason and he’s exactly where he’s supposed to be. He’s just not going to run. It’s survival now. It’s like prison. He’s going to stand up, right where he’s at, and he’s earned the right to be there. That’s at the heart of it, but then it gets complicated with emotions. He does love his brother, and he gets a brotherhood with the club. EZ really became a loner during prison and after prison, so it’s nice to have a brotherhood.

TVLINE | You just reminded me of the conversation that EZ and Coco had a few episodes back, when Coco says that everything ultimately happens for a reason, and your mistakes put you where you need to be in life. Did that conversation contribute to EZ’s decision to stay with the club?
I actually thanked [the writers] for that scene. EZ’s very locked up. Coming out of prison, he’s a locked-up soul, he’s a shell of himself. He’s hit rock bottom, and he’s trying to get out, right? He’s looking for freedom. But I can’t just do it as an actor; it’s got to be in the writing. It’s got to be there. So when I saw that scene, I thanked them, because it planted that seed. The only seed that EZ needed, since he’s such a cerebral person, is to just think that all of those things were meant to happen for a reason. That you actually weren’t supposed to have that life that you thought you were supposed to have. That, right there, starts opening him up, and he starts being aware of where he’s at today. It’s a beautiful scene, and there will be a lot of growth just from that one scene.

TVLINE | EZ also has an ominous moment with Potter in this finale, where Potter essentially tells EZ that he’s going to cash in another favor down the road, since EZ and Angel killed two people instead of one. Did that warning factor into EZ’s decision to stay with the club? Will it be easier to have the Mayans on his side if Potter comes calling?
You know, I didn’t think of it that way, but now that you bring it up, that is absolutely a possibility. I’ve never looked at it that way before, wow. You’re right. EZ is a smart dude, and he’s about surviving. When you add it all together, which way is probably the easiest way to survive with Potter? And that is maybe with the support of the brotherhood. It could be all of those things. [Ray McKinnon, who plays Potter] is amazing. He’s so creative. I love and hate having him at the same time. [Laughs]

TVLINE | Where would you say EZ stands with Angel by the end of this finale?
What EZ’s starting to learn is that there will always be that love between family. In that moment, he lets Angel know that he’s not going to be controlled so much and pushed around like that. He doesn’t say those words, but EZ is going to start taking control of his own life. He’s going to start living his life for himself. At that point, it’s like, “If you’re going to blow me up, blow me up. If you’re going to rat me out, rat me out.” He’s become a survivor. His relationship with his brother is so complicated because they do love each other, but they’re also human beings, right? It gets complicated when you have those emotions. But in their journey together, the older brother has done stuff to put the younger brother’s life at risk. EZ’s never looked at it that way before, but now he sees it. Now he recognizes it. And that makes it even more complicated.

TVLINE | I covered Sons of Anarchy‘s final season when it aired, so I was excited to see Happy come back. Did you already know that Happy killed EZ’s mom, or did you find that out when you got the finale script?
I found that out as we were shooting. I was so excited, so excited. They just lift us up so much, the guys from Sons of Anarchy — Chucky and Happy and Gemma in the first episode. It is so great to have them be a part of it. We’re definitely trying to create our own show with Mayans, but we wouldn’t be here without Sons of Anarchy, so to honor them in that way is just so cool.

'He's handed in a transfer request!': Sporting world pokes fun at Boris Johnson resignation https://briefnews.eu/hes-handed-in-a-transfer-request-sporting-world-pokes-fun-at-boris-johnson-resignation/ https://briefnews.eu/hes-handed-in-a-transfer-request-sporting-world-pokes-fun-at-boris-johnson-resignation/#respond Mon, 09 Jul 2018 15:35:50 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/hes-handed-in-a-transfer-request-sporting-world-pokes-fun-at-boris-johnson-resignation/ Boris Johnson has resigned as British foreign secretary, and the sporting world has been quick to poke fun at the Conservative Party politician, especially after his derogatory remarks about the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Denis Balibouse

Downing Street confirmed the departure in a statement which read:“This afternoon, the prime minister accepted the resignation of Boris Johnson as foreign secretary. His replacement will be announced shortly. The prime minister thanks Boris for his work.”

Johnson infamously compared Russia 2018 to the 1936 Berlin Olympics in Nazi Germany, which was largely used as a vehicle for Adolf Hitler’s regime. He also said England’s participation in the competition “would not go ahead as planned” should Russia not admit alleged involvement in the poisoning of former double agent Sergei Skripal in Salisbury.

Following news of the cabinet split, former England international and 1986 World Cup Golden Boot winner Gary Lineker was among the first with a football jargon-laiden jibe comparing Johnson’s resignation to a “transfer request.”

Ex-Premier League star turned broadcaster Stan Collymore hinted that Johnson’s move was all an elaborate plan to allow him time off to travel to support England in their World Cup semi-final versus Croatia on Wednesday in Moscow.

Former England rugby union international Brian Moore was adament Johnson was running away from “delivering what he promised,” while prominent British journalist Krishnan Guru-Murthy unfavorably linked the departure with the England national football team’s success in Russia.

And of course, the Twitterati had their own meme and gif tributes to the shock exit, some supporting the opinions of Collymore that the incident is nothing more than an excuse for a good old jolly-up while watching the foootball.

The departure of former London Mayor Johnson represents yet another blow to the government of Theresa May, who is pushing for a soft Brexit plan that has angered many Conservatives.

Johnson’s quitting follows that of the Brexit secretary, David Davis, and his No 2 at the Department for Exiting the EU, Steve Baker. Rumors began swirling earlier on Monday that Johnson would be leaving his post, as he was holed up in his residence with his closest advisers, missing a scheduled appearance at the West Balkans summit. There were also reports that he missed a Cobra meeting about the Wiltshire Novichok poisoning.

Alfie Evans update: Dad Tom Evans in heartbreaking This Morning interview 'he's fighting' https://briefnews.eu/alfie-evans-update-dad-tom-evans-in-heartbreaking-this-morning-interview-hes-fighting/ https://briefnews.eu/alfie-evans-update-dad-tom-evans-in-heartbreaking-this-morning-interview-hes-fighting/#respond Wed, 25 Apr 2018 11:08:52 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/alfie-evans-update-dad-tom-evans-in-heartbreaking-this-morning-interview-hes-fighting/

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield discussed Alfie Evans’ case today on This Morning.

The presenters spoke to a doctor about the intricacies of the case, and Alfie’s condition.

An emotional Holly asked about the treatment that Alfie is receiving at Alder Hey hospital.

She asked: “He is still continuing to breathe without his life support – have his doctors got this wrong?”

The doctor replied: “I don’t have details on what exactly they’re providing and what they aren’t.

“I couldn’t possibly second guess the treatment he is having.”

The doctor also mentioned the professional doctors and nurses that are currently caring for Alfie.

He continued: “This will have taken an enormous personal toll on the professionals.

Alfie’s father Tom Evans appeared on the show after the doctor.

Phillip asked how Alfie is doing after being off of life support for 36 hours.

Tom said: “Alfie is still fighting. He’s not suffering. He’s not had any pain.

“I believe I am getting closer to bringing him home. We would be happy with that.

“But we would be happier to get him to Italy for his treatment.”

It was obvious that Tom was mostly angry about how his son has been treated, however.

He announced: “We were told he wouldn’t last five minutes and here we are 36 hours later.”

More to follow…

Alfie was born on 9th May 2016, and is currently in a “semi-vegetative state”.

He is currently being held at Alder Hey hospital in Liverpool.

Alfie’s life support was turned off at 9.17pm on Monday 23rd April.

Although initially predicted to lose his battle once off the life support, he has been surviving without machines ever since.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10.30am on ITV.

'He's nuts to stay there': Don Cherry says Sens owner should relocate team https://briefnews.eu/hes-nuts-to-stay-there-don-cherry-says-sens-owner-should-relocate-team/ https://briefnews.eu/hes-nuts-to-stay-there-don-cherry-says-sens-owner-should-relocate-team/#respond Sun, 25 Mar 2018 15:37:34 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/hes-nuts-to-stay-there-don-cherry-says-sens-owner-should-relocate-team/

Some Ottawa Senators fans have voiced their displeasure with the direction of the team by putting up billboards calling for the ouster of Eugene Melnyk.

Don Cherry agrees that the Senators owner should get out of the nation’s capital, but the colourful hockey personality thinks Melnyk should take the team with him.

“He’s nuts to stay there,” Cherry said Saturday on his popular “Coach’s Corner” segment on CBC, going as far as to suggest that the Senators should move to Quebec City.

Speaking in response to the “Melnyk Out” campaign, which created a buzz in the hockey world when three crowdfunded billboards bearing that hashtag went up in Ottawa with a fourth on the way, Cherry criticized Ottawa fans for not filling the Canadian Tire Centre in suburban Kanata and painted Melnyk as a generous owner who has bankrolled the city’s hockey infrastructure.

“He put millions of dollars into the franchise, and what do they do? They give him a hard time,” Cherry said.

“There’s seven Sens rinks around Ottawa he puts it on, the only bad rink is where they’re playing.”

Discontent goes deeper

The Senators, who were a goal away from reaching the Stanley Cup final last season, have had a miserable 2017-18 campaign. The team is mired near the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings and there is rampant speculation that popular team captain Erik Karlsson will be traded before he becomes an unrestricted free agent at the end of next season.

That prompted fan Spencer Callaghan to spearhead the GoFundMe billboard campaign that raised $ 10,000 in less than a month.

Cherry instead put the blame on the fans, calling them out for not packing the arena even when they were on their impressive run last season.

“He’d sell out Quebec in a heartbeat,” Cherry said.

But Callaghan said the roots of fan discontentment go deeper than simply a lost season.

“The really clear message I want to get through is this is not about this season, this is not about a bad season,” Callaghan said when the billboards went up Monday. “This is about Daniel Alfredsson leaving, twice, this is about why Kyle Turris left, this is about why Mr. Leeder left, why Mr. Anselmi left. This is about a series of decisions over a long period of time.”

Coronation Street: David Platt star speaks out after rape 'He's disgusted and embarrassed' https://briefnews.eu/coronation-street-david-platt-star-speaks-out-after-rape-hes-disgusted-and-embarrassed/ https://briefnews.eu/coronation-street-david-platt-star-speaks-out-after-rape-hes-disgusted-and-embarrassed/#respond Sat, 17 Mar 2018 03:06:54 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/coronation-street-david-platt-star-speaks-out-after-rape-hes-disgusted-and-embarrassed/

The star has revealed that David will be left feeling “disgusted and embarrassed” by the events which unfolded in tonight’s double bill of the soap.

Speaking about what will happen next, he explained: “David is a bit confused at first as to where he is, but then as he comes to he sees a photo of Josh and then sees his own clothes neatly folded and a note for Josh saying he has gone for a run and he will catch him later.

“You can see from David’s reaction that the truth of what has happened is dawning on him. He leaves the flat and goes straight home.”

The soap actor continued: “This is the crucial part of the story really – he doesn’t ant anyone to know what happened.

“He’s ashamed and just wants to try and pretend it didn’t happen.”

Jack, 30, told Radio Times: “He feels there is no way he can tell Shona or his mum or sister what has happened because he’s disgusted and embarrassed.

“And this is the point of the storyline, he should tell someone and not keep it all bottled up inside him.”

Jack’s comments come after viewers watched David and Josh (played by Ryan Clayton) go out for an afternoon of drinking, which saw the pair bond over their families.

But things took a dark turn on the ITV soap when the hairdresser went to the toilet and Josh spiked his drink.

The mechanic later convinced David to stay at his flat to avoid being told off by his girlfriend Shona Ramsay (Julia Goulding) for returning home drunk.

While David initially agreed, when he arrived at Josh’s flat, he felt far worse.

Josh could be seen stroking David’s leg as they sat on the sofa together in uncomfortable scenes.

David could be heard saying “No” but the newcomer persisted and took him to his bedroom where .

He smirked: “Light on or off tonight? Lights on, I reckon.”

Fans of Coronation Street did not see the horrific assault but many took to Twitter to note they felt “uncomfortable” and the episode was a “tough watch”.

“Oh my god that scene was so uncomfortable to watch #Corrie,” one viewer shared, while another added: “The most chilling scene I think I’ve ever seen but so important to raise awareness that these things happen #Corrie #CoronationStreet.”

“I have to praise @JackPShepherd88 for taking on such a gut wrenching storyline on @itvcorrie its certainly not easy to watch but it’s a story that needs to be told. Well done to all involved #Corrie #DavidPlatt #itvcorrie,” a third wrote.

Coronation Street continues on ITV on Monday at 7.30pm.

Countryfile SHOCKER: Adam Henson stunned by horse semen collection procedure 'He's keen' https://briefnews.eu/countryfile-shocker-adam-henson-stunned-by-horse-semen-collection-procedure-hes-keen/ https://briefnews.eu/countryfile-shocker-adam-henson-stunned-by-horse-semen-collection-procedure-hes-keen/#respond Sun, 07 Jan 2018 21:48:13 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/countryfile-shocker-adam-henson-stunned-by-horse-semen-collection-procedure-hes-keen/

The teatime family show was explaining how one company is future-proofing special breeds of horses.

Shropshire-based Stallion AI services helped out with the task after it was revealed that eggs and semen are in storage from 70 horses across the 13 breeds, but that 350 are needed in total.

Founder and Managing Director of Stallion AI Services, Tullis Matson, discussed artificial insemination with host Adam Henson before inviting him to come and watch an Eriskay pony use a dummy.

Adam explained: “Collection is a much more basic process, and Tuffy here seems more than up for playing his part. So what’s happening now with the Eriskay?”

Tallis replied: “We’re just about to carry out a collection. He’s about to jump on the dummy and hopefully we’re going to collect a sample off him that we can freeze in a minute.”

Awkwardly standing beside the pony, Adam joked: “Well he’s keen isn’t he! And so by using this technology and your investment here, you’ll be able to get lots of foals from this Stallion. It’s just brilliant… and he seems to be enjoying himself.”

Viewers instantly took to social media following the broadcast, with some fans of the show surprised that it was aired before the watershed.

One viewer tweeted: “Surprised #countryfile isn’t on after the watershed this week,” as another posted: “Seeing that horse hump it’s own version of a fleshlight just put me right off me tea! #CountryFile #NoNeed.”

A third wrote: “Christ did you just see that in #countryfile? A horse sh@ggin OMG and it’s BEFORE the watershed,” as another said: “It’s a Sunday. It’s 7.15pm. And I’m watching a real horse blow its load into a fake horse. Of course it’s #countryfile.”

A fifth noted: “Four people standing around talking very casually as a horse dry humps a horse-shaped leather couch. #countryfile,” while another added: “I’m all for protecting rare breeds but seeing Tuffy mounting the dummy while the #countryfile presenters stood behind chatting about semen put me right off my crumpets.”

continues next Sunday on at 6.30pm.

Game of Thrones season 8: Star spills all on HUGE Sam Tarly change 'He's a rule-breaker' https://briefnews.eu/game-of-thrones-season-8-star-spills-all-on-huge-sam-tarly-change-hes-a-rule-breaker/ https://briefnews.eu/game-of-thrones-season-8-star-spills-all-on-huge-sam-tarly-change-hes-a-rule-breaker/#respond Sat, 30 Dec 2017 14:51:43 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/game-of-thrones-season-8-star-spills-all-on-huge-sam-tarly-change-hes-a-rule-breaker/

As the actor is busy filming the final series he has reflected on his time on the show noting that Sam has become a lot braver.

“When he first arrived he was a source of great mystery and frustration and he incurs the wrath of people because he’s arrived at a place that’s very inhospitable and he’s expect to physically fight and physically survive,” the 29-year-old commented.

“He’s completely ill equipped for life up there. It’s only when he explains that he’s in an impossible situation because his father hates him so much and has basically told him, ‘Go there or I’ll kill you!’

“That’s when you realise what it’s like to be this man; he doesn’t know where to turn, or has any choice in life. He’s displaced.”

But following Sam’s first appearance in season one he has become more of a fighter and isn’t as scared to break rules.

“These characters are very detailed and from moment to moment you’re in a different place,” John continued in an interview for 15 Minutes With You.

“When Sam goes home to his family in season six that’s him in a very different environment to what he’s ever been before.

“Sam is forbidden to have a wife so she’s [Gilly] not my wife. But he’s a rule-breaker; he’s very subversive in his own low-key way.”

The star also noted that his character divides fans, noting: “Women seem to like him but a certain type of man doesn’t like to be reminded of their own vulnerabilities and they believe that men should be super strong and super stable.

“Men like that really hate characters like Sam. The thing about the character that I find interesting is that people say, ‘You turned brave.’ I think he was always brave.”

will return to Sky Atlantic in 2019.

Blindspot EP on Weller's 'Shocking' Berlin Secret: 'He's Not an Evil Person' https://briefnews.eu/blindspot-ep-on-wellers-shocking-berlin-secret-hes-not-an-evil-person/ https://briefnews.eu/blindspot-ep-on-wellers-shocking-berlin-secret-hes-not-an-evil-person/#respond Sat, 23 Dec 2017 02:49:02 +0000 http://briefnews.eu/blindspot-ep-on-wellers-shocking-berlin-secret-hes-not-an-evil-person/ Warning: The following Q&A contains major spoilers from Blindspot‘s Season 3 fall finale. Proceed with caution.

Let’s hope Kurt Weller knows a good couples therapist in New York. If the final minutes of Blindspot‘s fall finale were any indication, he and Jane will need some serious counseling in 2018.

After fearing for weeks that Roman would reveal to Jane what happened in Berlin, Weller decided he couldn’t live with the secret anymore and broke the news to Jane himself: Not only did he meet Jane’s long-lost daughter while he was in Germany… but he killed her.

That’s not to say Friday’s episode was a total bust for Weller. He and the FBI successfully took down Director Hirst and got one step closer to Hank Crawford, the apparent Big Bad of Season 3 (and father to Roman’s “love interest,” Blake).

But according to series creator Martin Gero, Weller’s confession to Jane will “rock them to their core” when the NBC drama returns on Jan. 12, and the aftershocks will last well into the new year.

Below, Gero teases what viewers can expect from the upcoming winter installments, including what Weller’s big reveal means for Roman’s master plan.

TVLINE | Is Weller telling Jane the truth when he says he killed her daughter? Or is this a lie that feeds into a bigger plan?
No, he’s telling her the truth. He’s finally coming clean. They’ve gotten closer than ever, and from Jane’s side, that’s been because they’ve been so honest with each other. But what’s shocking to her is this major reveal that he’s been keeping from her. Now, he has his reasons, and we’ll hear about those in the next episode. The story he’s about to tell is a pretty tragic one. But for Jane, first and foremost, the betrayal of not telling her is going to be a hard pill for her to swallow.

Blindspot Season 3TVLINE | Weller has been so worried these last few weeks that telling Jane the truth would tear apart their relationship. Is he right?
He doesn’t want to lose her. He spent two years trying to find her, and the last thing he wants is for her to just walk away again, and that’s a big reason why he didn’t say anything. He was so worried that she would leave him if she found out. Why Weller did what he did and what happens — we’ll find all of that out. He’s not a bad guy. He’s not an evil person. But he made some poor choices.

TVLINE | Roman calls Weller at the end of this episode and tells him he’s off the hook; Roman isn’t going to tell Jane about Berlin, after all. Why does he say that? It’s not like Roman to be so generous.
He overplayed his hand. He still needs and wants Weller under his thumb, and Weller’s still valuable to him. By not killing Hirst, Weller essentially called Roman’s bluff. But then Roman’s like, “You know what? I’m still going to have you under my control, then.” That’s why Weller finally tells Jane. He just can’t do this anymore. He can’t be the unwitting mole for Roman, so he comes clean.

TVLINE | Will Roman find out that Jane knows about Berlin?
Yeah, Roman’s going to find out. He certainly won’t be thrilled about it, and will have to call an audible on his plan. But as you see by the end of this episode, Roman has created these tattoos to bring down this guy Hank Crawford, and while the team is working the outside of it, Roman has infiltrated the inside. Even though the team doesn’t know it yet, their goal is the same. They’re just going about it very differently. It’s a tandem attack on this guy. Everything that you thought was disparate shuffles together in a really satisfying way. And while we lose Hirst as our Big Bad, we’re now on to Hank Crawford, played expertly by David Morse, who I can’t believe we get to have on our TV show.
