The Chase aired on ITV this evening, and the popular quiz show saw Bradley Walsh welcome four new players. Opening tonight’s show was a professional athlete, Greg, and it seemed as though many viewers took quite shine to the 28-year old. It turned out he competed in the 2018 Winter Olympics as part of the United Kingdom’s Bobsleigh team. He revealed he was on the show to try and get some funding for the Bobsleigh team, and he ended up getting £5,000 in his cash builder. However, the Olympian was caught by tonight’s chaser, Paul Sinha, and viewers weren’t very happy about it. Many of them ended up taking to Twitter to demand the contestant be brought back despite having been caught. One viewer pleaded: “Can we swap Jon for Greg to come back please?” Another viewer added: “Can we get Greg back, please?” A third viewer commented: “Gutted gorgeous Greg went!” Commenting on Greg’s appearance, one viewer wrote: “Greg’s gone and so has half of the audience, only watching for him.” Both Moira and Anne were answering questions incorrectly during their head-to-head, and Bradley seemingly had had enough of both player’s poor run and joked: “Can someone do us a favour and get one right.” “I’m going to have to shave in a minute,” he added. Making matters worse, it was then revealed that Moira had answered the question incorrectly. “What is happening?” Bradley exclaimed before turning to Anne and warning: “You better get this right.” The Chase airs weekday evenings at 5pm on ITV.
First up, Brooke Lynn Heights and Silky Nutmeg Ganache won this week’s mini challenge — Ru’s beloved celebrity photobomb-off — by getting naked with Tom Brady and dropping a hot turd on the Trumps, which doesn’t even crack the top 10 if we’re talking about the most shameless things a queen has done on this show.
Next came the maxi challenge, a double feature of instant classics: Good God, Girl, Get Out (cast by Silky) and Why It Gotta Be Black, Panther? (cast by Brooke Lynn). Naturally, Ross Mathews and Michelle Visage were called in to direct, and they… well, let’s just say they had a wide range of talents to work with.
A few of the queens managed to turn it out, but for the most part, both movies were flops. Brooke Lynn discovered that she’s basically allergic to landing puns (“Beyon-say what?“), Vanjie’s attempt at playing “nerdy” somehow came out sounding like Cookie Monster, and Ra’Jah O’Hara was so confident in her own terrible performance that she literally waved a flag in surrender. The real winners of this challenge were the show’s editors for attempting to make something out of these utter disasters. (I’m not saying they succeeded, but at least they tried.)
The truth is, there was a far more entertaining drama unfolding behind the scenes of these certified motion pictures. Thanks to a little pot-stirring from Mama Ru, Silky learned that some of the girls called her “obnoxious” and said she “sucks the air out of the room.” But when Silky confronted her fellow queens in the workroom, only Ariel Versace was brave enough to admit what she done did. (“I knew it was you, bitch!” Silky replied.) Frankly, I respect Ariel a little bit more after that — which is a major step up from not even knowing she existed last week.
This week’s runway category was “What’s Your Sign?” though it might as well have been “glittery sheep and ugly fish,” because that’s pretty much all we got. I actually thought that Vanjie’s Libra look — an all-flower gown, complete with oversized flower scales — was one of the most intriguing, and I was surprised to see her sashay back to the Untucked lounge with the rest of the “safe” squad.
Scarlet Envy and Yvie Oddly were named this week’s dual maxi-challenge winners, paving the way for a lip sync battle between Kahanna Montrese (again!) and Mercedes Iman Diamond to the tune of Britney Spears’ “Work Bitch.” I was actually really impressed with both of their performances; Mercedes came to life before my very eyes (that back bend!), and Kahanna practically gave us an entire Olympic floor routine. In the end, however, Kahanna was sent sashaying away.
Your thoughts on Kahanna’s elimination? The entire workroom’s apparent desire to murder Silky? Whatever’s on your mind, drop it in a comment below.

Speaking on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, the former Ukip leader said he believed the draft Brexit plan Theresa May will reveal on Wednesday is “the worst deal in history”. The mastermind behind the Leave campaign claimed the Prime Minister had to be replaced with someone else prepared to go back to Brussels and threaten to leave without a deal unless a free trade agreement was on the negotiating table.
He said: “This is the worst deal in history.
“We’re giving away in excess of £40 billion in return for precisely nothing.
“Trapped still inside the European Union’s rulebook, continuing free movement of people, continuing with a foreign court having a say over our own country.
“Nothing has been achieved other than giving away a huge sum of money.”
He added: “The truth of it is in any negotiation in life, any business negotiation the other side needs to know that you’re serious about walking away.
“And what Mr Barnier knew from day one is that at no point did Theresa May intend to walk away and I just hope that we see today in the Cabinet and later on in the House of Commons our politicians realising we didn’t just vote to leave in a referendum, we backed it up in a general election.
“This is now a fundamental matter of trust between the electors of our country and those that govern us.“
He described Theresa May as “not just the worst prime minister I’ve ever seen but perhaps the most dishonest one as well”.
He added: “Get rid of her. Let’s get somebody else, let’s come back to the EU and say ‘look, let’s have a simple free trade deal or we are leaving on WTO (World Trade Organisation) terms’.
“And do you know what? They’ll bite our arms off.”
Asked what he thinks will happen next, he said: “I believe that the Cabinet will collapse, I believe that Parliament will collapse.
“I think we have a career political class who will put their own reselection within their parties above the interests of the nation and our democratic system.”
The brutal weather hit almost all of the country over the weekend and has continued to cause chaos today, especially in the West Midlands, as numerous schools have been forced to close due to the adverse conditions.
However, Piers didn’t seem to think it was as big a problem as people are making out and set about putting them right during his presenting duties earlier this morning.
Before co-host Susanna Reid, 47, threw to her colleagues across the country, her 52-year-old friend had something to say about it.
“Can we get a grip when it snows a bit?” he started.
Piers yelled: “If you go to somewhere like New York that has inches of snow drift, if the mayor hasn’t got everything sorted then there would be hell on.
“I just worry that we will never be prepared,” he insisted, while telling Susanna that he doesn’t blame the British public, just the authorities for not acting sooner with gritters.
Good Morning Britain then hit a rather chaotic junction as one of the roving reporters ran into a broken down vehicle engulfed in snow.
The owner didn’t appear to want to chat, as he covered his face, saying: “I don’t want filming!”
Piers Morgan recovered the unplanned scene, and told viewers: “He was a brave valiant warrior who didn’t want filming.
“I salute whoever you are and I salute your valiance.”
Susanna joked that the ITV programme’s gallery were sighing at her colleague’s rant, to which he snapped: “Even they’re snowflakes!”
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV from 6am.
Ant chimed: “But it’s funny!”
“Amir Khan, Amir Khan – I feel like he sold me a dream,” Joe moaned. “I thought I liked him, he’s a good boy.”
Joe continued: “Imagine you go and buy yourself a house share in Spain but you get there and realise it’s Bognor, that’s what he’s done to me.”
Not having any of it, Ant snapped: “Get over yourself will you Joe? You’re talking rubbish.”
The drama comes as fans have been speculating that Ant and Joe are feuding behind the scenes of this year’s I’m A Celebrity.
“What is going on with Ant and Joe? It’s really uncomfortable to watch. Producers need to have a word,” tweeted one audience member, which was followed by: “What’s going on with Ant being such a d**k to Joe Swash feels like bullying to me. Nasty snide comments that aren’t funny.”
A third chipped in: “Some more passive aggressive awkwardness between Ant & Joe tonight.”
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight at 9pm on ITV, while Extra Camp follows at 10pm on ITV2.
The 42-year-old presenter felt frustrated that a member of the production team had messed up one of their rehearsed gags.
Hoping to poke fun at Stanley Johnson’s poor aim from an earlier task, Ant and Dec had planned to tease that the former politician had since been practicing.
A hat was supposed to fly in from off camera and hit the two hosts, with the pair pretending that it was Stanley’s.
Ant said: “Ha! They did pretty well at the questions in the trial but Stanley’s aim was all over the joint!”
Dec then added: “It was all over the place. Although apparently he has spent all morning using his hat to practice his throwing and his aim is getting much, much better.”
At this point, a hat could be seen at the side of shot – totally missing the presenters it was meant to hit.
As the pair burst out laughing, Ant raged in jest: “That was meant to hit me by the way! That was the gag!
“You’re sacked! Get out! Get out! Get out… you wrote it as well.”
The judge was chatting to hosts Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield when she made the comment, leaving many watching at home furious.
When asked how she felt when she realised she had leaked the winner of the Channel 4 competition, the 77-year-old explained: “I quickly tweeted what I did and as soon as it went I thought, ‘Oh my god,’ and went into panic mode.
“Then I couldn’t work my phone and eventually I rang my PA and she said, ‘I’ve already deleted it.’ And that was 89 seconds after I had done it.”
Phillip then asked how she felt in the aftermath, and Prue simply replied: “Suicidal. I mean awful. The thing that upset me most was I thought this will take the attention off the winner and Sophie has worked for months and months for this moment.”
“The winner for Bake Off has been kept secret for eight years until I came along and screwed it up,” Prue concluded.
Following her remark about her reaction to the accidental tweet, This Morning viewers rushed to Twitter to slam her “unwise” choice of words.
One fan of the ITV show tweeted: “Suicidal over a silly tweet?? Pls #ThisMorning.”
Another added: “Suicidal. That’s rather insulting to those suffering mental health issues Prue. Unwise choice of word. #ThisMorning.”
“She was suicidal because of a tweet? Get a grip Prue – there are more important things to worry about #thismorning,” a third continued.
While someone else wrote: “#ThisMorning she didn’t actually feel “suicidal” though did she? One of those people who obviously doesn’t think before she tweets, or speaks.”
This Morning airs weekdays on ITV at 10.30am.
The 36-year-old ITV favourite and her co-host Phillip Schofield, 55, were joined by an unusual guest at the beginning of the show as they celebrated the return of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
Holly Willoughby could be seen looking uncomfortable holding the tail end of the large white snake while Phillip held the head, the animal draped over both their shoulders.
“It’s the tongue bit that puts me off slightly,” she said nervously, eyeing the snake.
As they tried to continue on with their presenting duties, however, it started to coil it’s tail around her leg.
Squealing in horror, the blonde beauty asked: “What do I do, what do I do?!”
“Oh good lord,” Phillip giggled. “Just let it happen!”
“I don’t know what to do,” she exclaimed, panicking as the animal began to tighten it’s grip around her calf, clearly visible through the thigh-high split in her chic grey skirt.
“Can you get it off?” she begged, trying to remain calm as she and Phillip fell about laughing whilst trying not to disturb the snake lounging on their shoulders.
Finally, a handler hurried into the shot, uncoiling the tail from around her and taking the animal off them as Holly tried to compose herself, straightening her outfit after her scary ordeal.
“Oh my gosh, that made me panic a little bit,” she said, slightly hysterically, wiping tears of laughter form her cheeks.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10.30am on ITV.
The Prime Minister’s speech yesterday saw her cough, while her set fell apart and she was handed her P45 by comedian Lee Nelson.
There was clearly one talking point on the Beeb’s morning show, and hosts Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty returned to it time and time again.
Following on from the Prime Minister’s performance at yesterday’s Conservative Party conference in Manchester, the news team set about scrutinising every moment of it, even getting a voice coach on to explain the best way to drink water.
However, viewers didn’t seem to enjoy the coverage, flocking to social media to air their views.
One wrote: “Theresa May none of that was her fault at all. Get off her back #BBCBreakfast why aren’t you slating the ‘comedian’ and the set builder?”
Another added: “I’m no fan of her but are you going to talk about anything the Prime Minister actually said or just concentrate on the cough.”
A third tweeted: “T May spoke for over an hour yet clowns like Mason not interested in the content just that she had a cough… typical bias,” before one more posted :”FFS! She had a cough. She should have gone off stage & had a drink to sort it out, they would have called for her head then.”
What’s more, Stayt, 55, even suffered a bodily blunder of his own after sneezing on air, which also became a point of interest for those tweeting in defence of May.
One viewer insisted: “For goodness sake – surely Charlie needs to be sacked for coughing on TV – Theresa May coughing – non story!”
A second agreed, noticing: “Enough of that cough. You haven’t made such a fuss of Charlie’s massive sneeze!”
BBC Breakfast airs weekdays on BBC One from 6am.
Nigel and Sallly Rowe hit headlines over the weekend when it was revealed that they are taking their children’s primary school to an educational tribunal because they don’t believe that transgenderism should exist in the classroom.
The parents voluntarily withdrew their two boys from their Church of England school in the Isle of Wight, claiming there to be an “agenda overriding our beliefs”.
The pair explained: “To us that seems very young to start pushing an agenda at school.
“A child is not able to make a life-changing decision. We would say that children like that need support – we have compassion and support.
“It comes down to being a child and the statistic is 98% of people who get like that when they were younger turned out not to feel like that when they were older,” they added.
The Christian couple explained that they did not come to the decision to remove their two boys lightly, saying that they are fully involved with school life and are even friends with parents involved in the row.
It was maybe too much for Phillip Schofield who was forced to intervene and question Nigel when he suggested that children currenlty suffering with gender dysphoria need “medical advice”.
“They are children,” the father explained. “They can’t make life-changing decisions like this.”
However, as they continued by suggesting that the only way the debate can go is with “species dysphoria”, This Morning viewers took to Twitter in their hundreds to fume at the pair.
One wrote: “Why are you even giving time to these people, This Morning… GET THEM OFF MY TV.”
Another said: “Annoyed at couple on This Morning who took their child out of school because a boy wears a dress! Kids are accepting! Learn from them!“
A third added: “Oh my God are those people for real? Why is it anyone else’s business if your child wears a dress.”
A fourth commented: “Surely as parents it’s our job to show children how to react. Teach compassion, acceptance and inclusion.”
However, some viewers did agree with Nigel and Sally, with one posting: “Those parents are spot on. Boys should be boys, until they are more aware of consequences. This needs to be addressed.”
Another wrote: “6 years old only a baby how can a child that diddy make such an important decision??? At least wait until they are older.”
This Morning airs weekdays on ITV from 10.30am.
