Strictly Come Dancing’s Debbie McGee calls out HILARIOUS blunder on Good Morning Britain

The ITV breakfast team were discussing the upcoming finale of the BBC talent show when Debbie, 59, spotted something awry.

While weighing up each competitor’s chances of lifting the coveted Glitterball trophy, rolling news went on underneath the report.

However, one of the headlines read: “Ambulance services braced for one of the busiest nights of the year.”

Former Strictly contestant, Charlotte Hawkins, announced after the segment: “Morning to Debbie McGee who’s watching.

“I sent a message to [all of the contestants] saying they have to watch because we’d be doing the Strictly core challenge earlier.

“She said that it was funny because earlier underneath our ticker it said, ‘Ambulances on standby’.”

The blonde bombshell, 42, jokingly assured her colleagues: “Don’t worry, Kate [Garraway], everything is in hand.”

Strictly Come Dancing stars Joe McFadden and Katya Jones are currently the favourites to win.

They are closely followed by Debbie and professional partner Giovanni Pernice, with Alexandra Burke and Gorka Marquez coming third.

Strictly Come Dancing continues tomorrow on BBC One at 6.30pm.
