The Spanish dancer was on the BBC Two show with his celebrity partner Alexandra Burke ahead of this weekend’s third live round.
As the pair discussed how their training has progressed, host Zoe, 46, wondered if Gorka had seen Alexandra’s pet pooches.
Zoe said: “We like to discuss people’s dogs, Gorka have you seen Alexandra’s puppies yet?”
A little flustered, Gorka, 27, replied: “Which ones?”
Alexandra, 29, immediately burst out laughing and found Zoe’s choice of words absolutely hilarious.
Those watching the show were also in stitches as one viewer wrote on Twitter: “I’m laughing so hard at @ZoeTheBall asking @AlexandraMusic about her puppies. That was extremely hilarious. #Strictly: #ItTakesTwo.”
“Gorka’s face when @ZoeTheBall asked ‘have you seen her puppies yet?’ Naughty naughty! #ItTakesTwo,” commented another.
A third couldn’t believe Zoe asked the question as they wrote: “OMG!!!! Did Zoe just say that? #hilarious #ItTakesTwo.”
The former X Factor star will be dancing the American Smooth on Saturday night’s show to Wouldn’t it be Lovely from My Fair Lady.
Discussing the routine, she said: “It’s the cutest and sweetest routine we could ever do. It’s such a lovely piece of art that Gorka has created, so different from last week.”
