Strictly Come Dancing 2018 viewers saw Joe Sugg, 27, and professional dance partner Dianne Buswell, 29, perform the Waltz to The Rainbow Connection by Sleeping At Last.
And following their performance, Dame Darcey Bussell, 49, remarked how their dance created “sweet romance”.
“You had poise, you had elegance, and they were creating a sweet romance out there,” She explained.
Guest judge Alfonso Ribeiro, 47, added: “It was a magical connection between you too.”
It comes after Dianne split with her partner, Emmerdale actor Anthony Quinlan earlier this week.
After 10 months together, rumours suggested the couple parted ways with Antony after he grew suspicious of her closeness to her celeb partner Joe.
The dancer and actor previous broke-up earlier this year, but are believed to have ended their relationship for good this time.
A spokesman for Dianne told The Mirror in a statement: “Due to their busy schedules and distance they have split, but still remain really close friends.”
However, according to The Sun, sources claimed he couple separated after Anthony began to notice Dianne and YouTuber Joe were becoming “close”.
A Strictly source said: “Everyone on set’s been discussing how close they’d become. It did not go unnoticed by Anthony.”
Their split came just days after pictures emerged of Strictly professional Katya Jones kissing dance partner Seann Walsh.
The insider went on to say: “A couple of weeks ago they just decided enough was enough and ended things.
“It was only a few days after the Katya and Seann pictures emerged.”
They added: “[Dianne] is having a lot of fun with the show at the moment and is enjoying spending time with her dance partner Joe.”
The ballroom dancer was introduced to Anthony in December by actress Gemma Atkinson, 33, who starred in the last series of Strictly.
Express.co.uk has contacted representatives for Dianne and Anthony for comment.
Tonight Joe and Dianne scored a combined score of 29 points by the judges.
On their performance, Craig Revel Norwood, 53, commented: “The movement around the floor I thought was absolutely gorgeous. But, I’ve got to say, the log had more expression, just use your face just a little bit more.
“But technically you really are improving, and I would go as far to say, you are one to watch!”
Dame Darcey Bussell, 49, noted how Joe was “leading his lady” in the dance.
“You’re taking control of the dance and that’s exactly what we want to see the gentleman do.”
Strictly Come Dancing 2018 returns tomorrow night on BBC One.
