The pair were on the spin off programme to talk about this weekend’s show where they will be performing the Argentine Tango.
As a recording of the couple rehearsing came on screen, Alexandra admitted it has been a very challenging dance to perfection.
The former X Factor winner said: “It’s intense. Like literally the most intense one we’ll do and for me the hardest and most challenging one that we’ve done so far.”
Showing exactly how intense their performance will be, Alexandra, 29, grabbed hold of Gorka’s face and pulled him extremely close to hers.
“Literally we’re going to be here,” she said.
Host Zoe Ball was left stunned by the unexpected move and thought the couple were about to do something else.
The flustered presented said: “I actually thought you were going to kiss him then!”
As they all burst out laughing, Zoe added: “Do you need me to practice that with you Gorka?”
The Spanish dancer immediately ran over to the 46-year-old and put his hand on her face to re-create the passionate hold.
During their appearance, Alexandra also spoke about her shock of seeing Aston Merrygold being voted out of the competition.
She admitted: “I was really shocked, it was really hard because I didn’t expect that to happen for a second.
“I thought Aston was going to win the show and I’ve been friends for him for years.”
