Star Wars 9 'title' reveals huge SNOKE clue? Fans are NOT impressed

The backlash is strong in these ones.

Even as the Episode 9 working title is revealed, some fans have suggested rather brutal (if amusing) versions which make no pretense of hiding how angry they still are with The Last Jedi.

Filming on the final trilogy movie will begin in July and the new working title “is said to have some significance.”

What does it mean? Does it really reveal that Snoke is somehow coming back from the dead?

Star Wars news site Fantha Tracks has revealed every working title in the modern era.

It said: “Fantha Tracks can now exclusively reveal that the working title for Episode IX has been changed to ‘trIXie.’

“Research by Fantha Tracks has uncovered documentary proof of the name change, the same research methods and public sources were used by the same team to uncover the production names of every Disney era Star Wars film to date.”

The Roman numerical number 9 is a clever touch but some fans  are convinced that the name points towards Andy Serkis and thus Snoke. One said: “Tricksy was a phrase used by Gollum in LOTR….Snoke is back?”

Much as Snoke was rather disappointingly dispatched, this theory seems rather a stretch.

Fantha Tracks points out how all previous working titles have playful links to the productions and directors, like the Solo movie’s working title of Red Cup which refrerred to popular party cups of the same name.

The real film title will most likely be unveiled later this year, probaly when the first teaser trailer is expected to drop in November.

Fans wasted no time suggesting their own harsh titles for Episode 9:

EPISODE 9 FAN SUGGESTIONS:

“Should be…Star Wars IX – The Last Hope.”

“The title is Ep 9 The Last Star Wars..”

“Episode IX The Final Nail.”

“Star Wars Episode IX: Damage Control.”

“Episode 9 revenge of the fans.”

“Episode Nein’ is actually the working title.”

“Episode 9: No One Cares Anymore.”
