Sex news – doing THIS will increase your sex drive according to an orgasm expert

Many people who struggle with their sex drive look for help from their GP or scour internet forums for advice.

But female orgasm expert, Dr Nicole Prause, has revealed one simple way to make yourself want to jump into bed with your partner – go for a run.

Dr Prause, who’s based in Los Angeles, told The Times: “Generally speaking, if your heart rate is increased and you see your partner, you’re more likely to interpret your excitement as due to your partner. Even if it’s not.”

Furthermore, the 38-year-old also reckons aphrodisiacs don’t exist, but recommends sexting while at work.

“Starting to be sexual and taking about fantasies. That may help get things started.”

Dr Prause believes arousal has become more responsive and less spontaneous than it used to be, which means you may have to start engaging in sexual stimulation before you really want it.

She said: “You start hugging, you kiss…you start to have those urges.”

Part of being a female orgasm expert, means Dr Prause spends her days measuring the bain responses of patients while they orgasm.

She believes the UK is more open than Americans, and concludes there’s still a lot more research on orgasms to be carried out – particularly, female orgasms.

Dr Prause said: “The male genitals are just easier to measure. We already understand quite a lot about how the penis works, because it is so accessible.

“It is literally just harder to study the vagina because it’s internal. The types of imaging, when you can get access to them even, aspects are blocked by the bladder.”

They key to orgasming is apparently relaxing.

“You have to release control. So if you’ve got the laundry list going through your head, ‘I’ve got to pick up the kids soon, before I get the car, I’ve got to do the oil change’, there will been orgasm in your life.”

Some women can experience “super orgasms” which sees them climax up to 100 times – thanks to three key factors.

Scientists carrying out research for new Channel 4 documentary ‘The Super Orgasm’, which aired on Friday, April 14, found that a mix of relaxation, yoga and bonding leads to the intense experience.

Five women’s brains were monitored for the programme, which set out to explore the “myth” of women being multi-orgasmic.
