The Location, Location, Location host was Matt Tebbutt’s guest, and she seemed to get into the spirit of things, asking questions-a-plenty and filling any awkward silences.
However, she appeared to have rubbed viewers up the wrong way as they took to Twitter in their droves to comment on the 46-year-old’s appearance on the show.
One Twitter user wrote: “Kirstie Allsopp is annoying. Can she be relocated?”
Another said: “Someone please shut Kirstie Allsopp up. I’ve had to turn off as I can’t take any more of her braying.”
A third added: “Kirstie has managed to stay quiet for a whole 2 minutes!”
A fourth commented: “I don’t think I like Kirstie Allsopp much, still trying to figure out why!”
This follows Saturday Kitchen’s ratings triumph last week, as it forced to compete with James Martin’s Saturday Morning on ITV.
The 45-year-old chef left his home on the BBC last year and has since launched a new show with a rival broadcaster.
However, fiercely loyal viewers of the Beeb’s offering didn’t tune into James’ show and as such it triumphed in the ratings.
Saturday Kitchen airs on the BBC at 10am every Saturday.
