Ruth Langsford left red-faced as Bucks Fizz member STORMS OFF Loose Women after gaffe

Bobby B has replaced former member, Bobby G, which seemed to cause somewhat of a slip up for the 57-year-old presenter.

As Ruth got the two mixed up, the new band mate jumped off the sofa and stormed off, dramatically shouting: “I’m leaving now!”

Thankfully, it was all a joke, and Bobby soon sat down, as the presenter explained: “It was Bobby G and now it’s Bobby B…

“Can we just call you the new Bobby?” Ruth, who made her Strictly Come Dancing debut last week, joked.

Viewers took to Twitter to remark on the gaffe, with one positing: “Bobby G, Bobby Vee, Bobby who cares?! Ruth doesn’t.”

Another laughed: “Come on Ruth, get at least some facts right, this interview is embarrassing.”

This followed yesterday’s eventful show during which Coleen Nolan made a dig at Ruth’s performance on Saturday’s instalment of Strictly.

The former popstar, 52, joked: “Well, we’ve been making the headlines this weekend – I’m not talking about Ruth’s Strictly performance.”

Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV at 12.30pm.
