Royal Wedding best dressed guests: Who stunned at Meghan Markle & Prince Harry’s nuptials?

The Royal Wedding is over, with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s guests probably waking up this morning with sore heads and tired feet.

Knowing the world’s media would be watching, all of the guests made sure to look their best.

Those invited to both the church and evening reception stunned in with outfit changes for the later part of the celebrations.

A mix of A List guests and aristocracy mingled at St George’s Chapel and Frogmore House to celebrate the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

But who were the best dressed on the day? From the Middletons to Amal Clooney, these are the women who stood out.

Amal Clooney, 40, leading human rights lawyer and wife of Hollywood actor George, stole the show in mustard yellow.

She wore a custom Stella McCartney gown with a Stephen Jones hat. Her hair was perfectly tonged and swept to the side, in a nod to hold Hollywood glamour.

Serena Williams, 36, tennis ace and close friend of Meghan, looked chic in pink for the church. Her fitted Versace dress had a gathered detail at the waist, giving her an hourglass shape.

Williams, who attended with husband Alexis Ohanian, 35, changed for the evening do, wearing a Valentino dress with dramatic floral print silk skirt. An extravagant Bulgari emerald necklace completed the look.

Carey Mulligan, 32, along with husband musician Marcus Mumford, 31, was another A List attendee.

She wore a yellow, pink and grey floral dress from Erdem, the designer hotly tipped to be making Meghan’s wedding dress.

Priyanka Chopra, 35, stunned with her evening look, wearing a sparkling Dior gown and Lorraine Schwartz jewellery.

Another woman who turned heads in the evening was Jessica Mulroney, 38, whose children were in the bridal party.

She changed in to a gold sequin dress that wouldn’t have looked out of place at the Oscars.

Many of the guests were from the cream of British society, and Lady Kitty Spencer, 27, led the charge of stylish women.

Princess Diana’s neice wore a teal blue square neck Dolce & Gabbana dress with a painted-effect floral print. An acid orange clutch added a pop of colour.

Pippa Middleton, 35, opted for florals too, although her green and pink dress, £495 from The Fold, had a more delicate feel.

Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, 36, caused controversy with her choice of outfit.

Twitter was divided over the colour of her dress and summer coat, arguing over whether it was cream or yellow.

However, Kensington Palace cleared up any confusion, confirming the true colour of Kate’s outfit in a statement.
