Real Madrid Transfer News: Huge Chelsea claim, Griezmann Man Utd message, £52m deal shock

Alvaro Morata has agreed to join Chelsea, according to reports in Spain.

Morata has not featured regularly under Zinedine Zidane this season but scored twice in Real Madrid’s 4-0 win over Granada on Saturday.

The Spain international is unhappy at not getting enough game time ahead of the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.

And according to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, Morata’s agent has agreed a deal for him to join Chelsea – and he has already bought a house in London.

Antoine Griezmann has indicated to Real Madrid he will be joining Manchester United.

Griezmann is Jose Mourinho’s top transfer target at Manchester United for this summer.

But Spanish outlet Diario Gol say Griezmann has told Real boss Zidane and president Florentino Perez he won’t be crossing to divide from Atletico Madrid.

Real Madrid reportedly beat Barcelona to the signing of Brazilian wonderkid Vinicius Junior because they offered more money.

Reports in Spain yesterday revealed Real had tied up a deal to land the Flamengo striker after his 18th birthday next summer.

And Spanish newspaper Sport say Real trumped Barca’s offer with a deal totalling around £51.5million (€61m).

They are said to have paid £38m (€45m) up front, £6.75m (€8m) to the teenager’s agents and another £6.75m (€8m) in potential add-ons.
