Real Madrid news: Why Gareth Bale might not join Tottenham as part of Harry Kane deal

Bale swapped White Hart Lane for the Bernabeu in 2013 after forging a reputation as the Premier League’s best player.

And he’s since helped Real win 10 trophies, including the Champions League on three occasions.

Bale’s been beset by a series of injury problems over the past 18 months though which have severely limited his game time.

He has been tipped to leave Real in the summer, potentially as part of a deal taking Harry Kane from Tottenham to Madrid.

Express Sport understands Real are also considering using Bale as a makeweight in a move for Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.

The latest reports from Spain suggest Bale could make his way to Juventus instead though.

According to transfer rumour specialists Don Balon, Juventus have been in touch with Bale.

And that’s because they know star forward Paulo Dybala has plenty of offers to leave them.

Juventus are determined not to end the summer weaker than they started it if Dybala is to leave.

And Bale is apparently the man they’ve lined up to take his place in Massimiliano Allegri’s team.

Bale will be hoping to make his mark when Real take on Real Betis in La Liga this evening.

And it seems Juventus will be keeping tabs on how the 28-year-old gets on at the Benito Villamarin.
