Prince Harry, 33, and Meghan Markle, 36, announced their engagement on November 27 and details of their upcoming wedding have slowly been leaked.
The big day will take place in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle and a wedding date has been set for May 19.
Breaking from royal tradition that someone must be married into the royal family to be invited to take part in celebrations, Meghan spent Christmas Day by her prince’s side, and the pair have been inseparable since they announced they’d be tying the knot.
But an Australian psychic, who has predicted how 2018 will unfold for the royal family, doesn’t have high hopes the couple’s relationship will last.
Appearing on Sunrise on Sunday to reveal whether Harry and his fiancee Meghan would last, Kerrie Erwin said the pair are headed for a split months ahead of their highly anticipated wedding.
And when asked how Meghan and Harry will fare once they settle into royal life together, she claimed there would be a struggle.
She said: “I do get [feelings of] a pregnancy for her next year. But actually I don’t think its going to last.
“I’d probably give it five years. I feel there is a lot of personal things going between them because they’re two strong individuals.
“Which is a sad thing. I wish them all the best. But it doesn’t look good.”
For now, the couple appear stronger than ever, and royal fans can look forward to the nuptials, which are sure to be a big affair, in the new year.
So what does New Year’s Eve have install for the newly engaged couple?
It will be the pair’s first New Year’s Eve they spend together as an engaged couple, and while it is unclear what they’ll be doing to mark the occasion, it is likely the couple will spend the evening in at Nottingham Cottage.
In previous years, when Harry was bachelor, he has spent New Year’s Eve partying in LA or staying in the Swiss ski resort of Verbier with friends and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.
Last year, Prince Harry and Meghan saw in the new year together as they spent Christmas apart.
