Phillip Schofield snaps at woman ‘too attractive’ for love: ‘That’s why you’re single?’

The 55-year-old ended up taking issue with YouTube vlogger Dawn Cousins, who said that her youthful appearance was a hindrance when dating.

Phillip could be seen biting his tongue during the interview as he opened the interview and bluntly asked: “You’re having trouble dating, why?”

“One I’m very attractive and two I look very young. Number three I’m very fun and I’m not your typical mum,” the 44-year-old explained.

She continued: “The younger guys are messaging me because I’m hot and older guys are asking for pictures of me looking good and they want to look at my body.”

The ITV could be seen trying to contain his annoyance as he went on to grill her: “Your previous partner said you should come with a warning sign, why is that?”

“Because I don’t take rubbish. I feel unhappy in a relationship, I’m going to say,” Dawn told him.

However, Phillip eventually gave up trying to contain his feelings as he told her: “Being in a relationship and dating, it’s not all about looks, it’s about personality as well.

“You are a very confident woman, there is no question about that. It is going to be intimidating, not to say unattractive, to him for a woman say to be that confident and to say, ‘I am gorgeous, I am hot, I am too good for you. Maybe that’s why you’re single?”

Dawn gave us as good as she got: “No, I don’t go, ‘I am too good for you.’ If there is some way for me to help them, whether it be health-wise or financial.

“What I don’t agree with is a guy could lose a few pounds, lead a healthier lifestyle not do it because they’ve got a woman.”

Phillip retorted: “There are must be lots of guys like that.” But the This Morning didn’t agree: “Maybe I’m not attracting them.”

This Morning airs weekdays on ITV at 10.30am.
