COLLINGWOOD star Scott Pendlebury will again captain the club as it enters a crunch year.
The Magpies announced on Tuesday morning Pendlebury, 29, will lead the club for a fourth consecutive season with fellow midfielders Steele Sidebottom and Taylor Adams named vice-captains.
The trio will form a streamlined Collingwood leadership group for the 2017 season as it aims to make the finals for the first time since 2014.
Adams, 23, has been named in the group for the second year running and is the youngest member.
Last year the Magpies named a five-man leadership group led by Pendlebury alongside Nathan Brown who’s now at St Kilda and Brent Macaffer (retired).
