Reddit user Jaki-lad98 shared a clip from the instalment asking if it was proof he would return.
While many fans have been left divided over the footage, another Reddit user pointed out that a man who looked very similar to Major Campbell was sighted walking past Linda on the stairs to the office.
Does this mean he could make a shock return as Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) starts life as a politician?
Meanwhile, fans are hoping that US gangster Al Capone could make an appearance in the new run after Tommy managed to outsmart Luca Changretta (Adrien Brody) by teaming up with his US rivals.
And while nothing has been announced, viewers believe Stephen Graham will be given the role after he played the part in Boardwalk Empire.
