Outlander season 5: Claire Fraser star teases which country the Frasers may go next

Outlander has followed Claire Fraser (played by Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) venturing across the globe for the past four seasons – and there is much still to come. However, fans have been wondering if the show will next arrive in a new location, and Claire star Caitriona has spoken out about it.

While Claire originally started out in Scotland, she eventually found her way to Paris with Jamie.

Things moved quickly, as they then found themselves moving to the Caribbean for even more drama.

Season four brought the Frasers to America, where Jamie met up with his long-lost aunt, Jocasta (Maria Doyle Kennedy).

Season five looks to be continuing this story, as the show will be diving in to the American revolutionary war.

She coyly added: “It’s difficult to choose, but it’s hard to beat season one, just because it was so new and exciting and everything.”

Caitriona also went on to say she “loved the first half of season three” – which took place mostly in the ‘60s.

Meanwhile, it has been theorised Frank Randall (Tobias Menzies) may have something to do with Claire’s death.
