In her time of desperation, she turned to Steph’s (played by Carla Bonner) partner, Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor) for comfort.
However, viewers watched in horror as Sonya (Eve Moray) grew closer and closer to Mark which eventually culminated in the pair sharing a kiss while he helped her sleep.
As the pair quickly decided they should remain friends, they had a frank discussion on a park bench as Sonya revealed she just didn’t feel anything.
Just to check, the foolish pair shared one last kiss before they made the decision, but they were spotted by a mysterious figure sitting nearby.
With this man being unknown to the pair, could he actually be about to drop a huge bombshell on an unexpecting Toadie (Ryan Moloney)?
It is set to be an explosive week on Neighbours as Toadie’s brother Shane (Peter O’Brien) has also returned unexpectedly.
Moving onto Ramsay Street with his family, Shane is set to send shockwaves around Erinsborough as he delivers a devastating secret.
As if that wasn’t enough drama to rock one street, Elly (Jodi Anasta) and Finn (Robb Mills) will rekindle their relationship after her initial doubts.
However, it looks like Finn could be up to his old tricks again, plotting against Elly after she pushed him down some stairs causing him to have a serious head injury.
As well as this, things aren’t good for David Tanaka (Takaya Honda) again as he tries to kiss his friend Aaron (Matt Wilson), believing him to like him in the same way.
Poor David is rejected, but how will this affect his relationship with Aaron who has been with him through his darkest days?
