‘Mystery Science Theater 3000’ is Touring This Summer

Mystery Science Theater 3000 Tour

Mystery Science Theater 3000 fans are very happy to have the movie-mocking show back thanks to a revival from Netflix that brought 13 new episodes to the streaming service. It’s like the series never left! Now fans will get to enjoy the show live in-person with a Mystery Science Theater 3000 tour, which will be traveling around the United States this summer.

Find out where the tour is headed and what the show entails below.

Mystery Science Theater 3000 creator Joel Hodgson is hitting the road with the show’s new host Jonah Ray for the “Watch Out for Snakes!” Tour. Joining them will be Hampton Yount and Baron Vaughn as Crow T. Robot and Tom Servo, not to mention Rebacca Hanson as Gypsy and Synthia. Checking in via video screen will be Kinga Forrester (Felicia Day) and TV’s Son of TV’s Frank (Patton Oswalt).

What’s cool about this tour is that it will involve two separate, unique shows. You’ll need a different ticket for each show, but both will offer exactly what Mystery Science Theater 3000 fans are looking for: riffing on B-movies. The first show will be the MST3K favorite Eegah (one of the classic episodes available on Netflix), complete with new riffs and sketches, and there will also be some sort of audience participation as well. The second show is being billed as a “Secret Surprise Film!” that is only described as a “fun, sci-fi thriller” that’s never before been featured on MST3K and is only being performed at 11 of the stops on the tour.

Tickets will go on sale this Friday, May 19 at 12:00 P.M. local time through AXS.com and the respective venue’s box office. Don’t forget, each of the two shows are tickets separately, so if you plan on going to both, you should be buying two separate tickets.
