Melania Trump called ‘sad’ and ‘angry’ in unlikely Twitter RANT by pop superstar Cher

Melania, 47, was the subject of tweets from Cher, 71, that questioned how happy she really is in her marriage.

Posting on June 30th, Cher wrote: “Not 2 be Mean but Melania Trump Always Looks SAD/Angry, like She lost a Best Friend. They NEVER Smile or Exchange Little Looks On TV. I Feel Bad.” (sic)

Cher then continued to question the happiness of the First Lady.

Responding to a follower who had agreed with her first message on the social networking site, Cher wrote: “I hope she gets 2 take her son & go back to NY Soon. She Seems to be a good mother. Ive never seen Him Hug, Give Nuggies, or Play with his Son”. (sic)

Cher is a regular critic of President Donald Trump, but does not usually discuss his wife Melania.

She has 3.36 million followers on Twitter – but Melania is not one of them.

This is not the first time the First Lady has faced questions about her marriage, but she hit back at critics during a statement this weekend.

MSNBC Morning Joe co-hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough have been embroiled in a battle with Donald Trump, dragging his wife into it with recent comments.

Mika said Melania has the “worst job in the country” being married to Trump and insisted she’s only doing it for the sake of the couple’s son, Barron.

The morning breakfast show host said: “I’m just telling you, Melania’s got the worst job in the country and I don’t think she wants do it a lot longer.

“I think she will do it for as long as she has to for her son, and that’s it.”

But Melania has denied she is unhappy in her marriage, calling the allegations “sad”.

The First Lady told the Daily Mail in a statement: “It is sad when people try to further their own agenda by commenting on me and my family, especially when they don’t know me.”

The Morning Joe co-hosts and Donald Trump are engaged in a Twitter war, with Trump lashing out at Mika online last week, tweeting that she had a “low IQ”, was “crazy” and had been “bleeding badly from a facelift” at one of his events over New Year’s Eve.

He tweeted: “Crazy Joe Scarborough and dumb as a rock Mika are not bad people, but their low rated show is dominated by their NBC bosses. Too bad!”

The TV hosts are well known for their criticism of the President since he came into power in January.
