Melania Trump and Putin discussed THIS bizarre subject during their cosy G20 dinner

Melania Trump, 47, enjoyed a friendly dinner sat next to Russian President Vladimir Putin, 65, during the G20 summit last year.

Images of the duo laughing as they enjoyed their meal were beamed around the world, amid reports Putin had spent two hours talking to Donald Trump, 71.

But what they talked about has not been revealed – until now.

Putin himself has revealed what he discussed with the First Lady, admitting he told a porky pie during their chat.

One of the more serious topics of conversation, which also involved Melania’s Italian counterpart Emanuela Mauro, was maternity benefits, with Putin saying the duo were “surprised how large they are”.

But moving on to lighter subjects, they discussed Russia. Putin told Vladimir Solovyev during a TV interview: “I told them about Russia. About Siberia. About fishing.

“But, of course, as you do on such occasions, I fibbed a little. When you are talking about fishing, how do you not embellish?

“I told them about Kamchatka. About the fauna. About the tigers.”

Putin was also asked if he attempted to “recruit” either of the women.

But Donald Trump can rest easy, as Putin confirmed he did not – saying: “No. I haven’t done that in a long time. Even though I used to love doing that. That was my job, as you know, for many years.”

The interview, World Order 2018, will air on Russian television this weekend but is already available to stream on Solovyov’s VK social media page.

As well as her chat with Putin, Melania hit the headlines due to her outfit.

The brunette looked beautiful in a white 1920s style flapper gown.

The dress had multiple tassels – just like gowns in the era, during which books such as the Great Gatsby are set.

Melania paired the dress with sky high white Christian Louboutin heels that appeared to be made from snake skin.

Her hair and makeup looked flawless, with her usual bouncy blow-dry intact.
