Meghan Markle, 36, is the newest member of the royal family since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, 33, last November.
The royal couple have already travelled extensively together to destinations including Jamaica, Norway and Kenya.
Yet the ex-actress has previously travelled during her career as a World Vision Global Ambassador, something she frequently wrote about on her now-closed lifestyle blog The Tig.
Some of her advice has included some of her tried and tested travel hacks when abroad.
One of her travel tips is how to avoid getting jet lag when travelling abroad.
She wrote: “If you eat on the schedule of wherever you’ve landed, you won’t feel jet lagged.
“I was skeptical at first, but as Misha shared, it’s your stomach that tells your brain when it’s feeling wonky.
“By simply eating a meal at the time the locals are when you land, you trick your brain a bit and stay much more on track, and much less cranky.”
Meghan explains that the tip originates from her friend Misha Nonoo, a fashion designer who is thought to have introduced Meghan to Prince Harry.
It is thought that she was the matchmaker of the pair, known as the former wife of Harry’s friend Alexander Gilkes.
It isn’t the only travel hack that the 36-year-old has shared on her website.
She also explains how to avoid falling ill on the plane with a handy hand luggage item.
Hand sanitiser is something she advises to always take to wipe the plane surfaces down.
She admits people should “wipe it all down” with the bacteria-killing substance.
The tray table and button have previously been found to harbour the most bacteria on a plane, with some passengers even using it as a baby changing table.
Therefore any frequent fliers should always avoid putting their hands or food directly onto it before cleaning it thoroughly.
