Meghan Markle brother writes second letter BEGGING for wedding invite 'It's not too late'

The half brother of Meghan Markle, 36, has written a second open letter to his sister days before the royal wedding.

Thomas Markle Jr, 51, addressed the open letter, published in In Touch magazine, to Prince Harry’s bride to be whom he referred to as “Meg”.

Thomas, whom it is believed is not invited to the royal wedding, asks for an invite in the two page long letter, which can be seen in full here.

The letter reads: “It’s true that you and I have become ‘distant’ along with the rest of our family members over the years.

But we are all still family. With all the memories of watching you grow up, it’s hurtful that you would forget about us.”

It later goes on to list the special occasions they spent together, including Christmas and Thanksgiving celebrations.

He also spoke about the “countless weekends” that he, their shared father, Thomas Markle Sr, and their grandma spent together.

He finished: “It does hurt my feelings not getting invited to your wedding, along with the rest of the family.

But it’s not too late to send me an invite along with your entire family.

We should all be there to show our love and support on your wedding day, because that’s what families do.”

This is the second open letter Thomas Markle Jr has published – after Meghan’s brother’s first open letter addressed to Prince Harry.

In the first letter, he called Meghan a “jaded, shallow, conceited woman that will make a joke of you and the royal family heritage.”

He also urged Harry to call off the wedding: “You and the royal family should put an end to this fake fairytale wedding before it’s too late.”

Earlier this week, it was revealed Meghan Markle has ignored advice to invite her family to the royal wedding.

While a Kensington Palace statement last week confirmed Meghan’s parents will be attending, there was no mention of any other family members who are invited from America.

It would appear Meghan has decided to exclude most of her family from the wedding – despite advice to the contrary from royal officials, according to an insider.

“I understand she doesn’t get on with a lot of her extended family,” the insider told Express.co.uk exclusively.

“That’s why she didn’t want to invite them to the wedding,” the source added.

It is believed the Lord Chamberlain, Lord Peel, who is the most senior officer in the royal household, advised Meghan against this.

“He said: ‘You’ve made more enemies because if you don’t invite them they may come out with stories’,” revealed the source.

However, Meghan is believed to have ignored this advice. “She said she would rather have that than have people there she’s not close to.”
