Love Island 2018 LIVE: Adam Collard SHOCK as he couples up with Kendall Rae-Knight

Last night’s launch night sent fans into a frenzy as those looking for love arrived at the Love Island villa.

Following the first instalment, it was revealed that Alex George is the favourite to be booted off the show.

Meanwhile, Jack Fincham, who paired with Dani Dyer, is the favourite to be crowned the winner.

Bookmakers Ladbrokes revealed that Jack’s odds of winning are slated at 9/4.

However, Alex has been hit with a devastating blow as his odds of winning are at 8/1.

A spokesperson for Ladbrokes commented: “It was a good night for Jack but a disaster for Alex.

“That said it is early days and they are clearly a fickle lot.”

9.00pm – Love Island is back!

9.03pm – Finally it has been revealed that Adam Collard has chosen Kendall Rae-Knight as his date.

9.04pm – Niall Aslam receives a text.

It reads: “Niall, you are now single. At the end of the week all Islanders will take part in a recoupling.

“The Islander not picked to be in a couple will be dumped from the island #muggedoff #stillinthegame.”

9.11pm – Adam and Kendall have arrived for their first date – how will it go?

Adam said: “The date was sound. We had a lot of chat. I think things will move on with this.”

Kendall said: “My head is literally all over the place. I wish I could merge you together.”

9.28pm – Kendall cried: “I wasn’t expecting Adam to pick me. I wasn’t expecting to have a good date. What is wrong with me? I’m thinking too much about how I’m making Niall feel.”

9.37pm – Adam and Alex discuss his date with Kendall.

Niall fumes that Kendall wanted to combine him with Adam. He finds it rude that she only wanted his personality, but Adam’s looks.

9.38pm – Samira blurts that she doesn’t like Alex, saying: “I just don’t want to flirt with him. I don’t even want a conversation. He probably thinks I’m a b**ch.”

9.40pm – Alex notes that Samira “hasn’t even given him a chance” and says he has given up trying.

9.41pm – Kendall breaks down in tears for “upsetting Niall”.
