Last week, the music industry lost a legend: the great Fats Domino, whose 1950s singles for Imperial Records (including “Ain’t That A Shame,” “Blueberry Hill,” “Whole Lotta Loving,” and “I’m Walkin”) were among the most influential songs in the early rock and roll canon. And last weekend, Fiona Apple used her appearance on NPR’s A Prairie Home Companion to pay tribute to the pop pioneer.

But frankly, considering that she shares the show with Nick Offerman, Robert Finley, Hillary Hahn, and Black Keys guitarist/vocalist Dan Auerbach, you may as well listen to the whole thing.
