Kate Middleton wardrobe: Can YOU guess which of the Duchess' 2017 outfits cost the most?

Kate Middleton, 36, is one of the most photographed women in the world, and as such, must look pristine at all times.

Her clothes are the envy of women across the globe, and for good reason, as she only wears the best of what is on offer.

And now it can be revealed her 2017 wardrobe cost a staggering £119,000 for the new items.

As someone who has been in the public eye for so long, Kate has a huge back catalogue of items she re-wears, and these are not included in the £119,000 figure.

So how did Prince William’s wife spend so much on clothes this year, and what were the most expensive outfits she wore?

The Duchess has had a very busy 2017, seeing her only sister get married and heading off on trips to various locations around the world.

Kate turned to Alexander McQueen, the label she wore on her wedding day, to dress her for Pippa Middleton’s wedding.

A beautiful rose pink silk design, the dress cost £2000, and Kate paired it with a hat from Jane Taylor, £1000, and earrings from Kiki McDonough, £7,500.

Another notable outfit for Kate this year was worn during her trip to Paris in March.

Making a nod to French fashion, Kate wore a classic Chanel suit, £6,723, along with a Chanel handbag, £3,762.

Cartier earrings, £1640, completed the look, taking the total outfit cost to £12,125.

In fact, her foreign tours often see Kate wearing her most luxurious clothes, and a trip to Luxembourg in May was no exception.

The Duchess wore a 50s style Emilia Wickstead coat dress, £1,000, along with Kiki McDonough earrings, £3,500.

Kate hasn’t let her style slip since falling pregnant, and was recently seen at the Royal Variety Performance in a shimmering Jenny Packham dress alongside William, who looked dapper in a tux.

The heavily embellished blue gown cost £3,500, and Kate kept the rest of her outfit simple, accessorising only with her classic bouncy blow-dry.

With Meghan Markle joining the Royal Family when she marries Prince Harry next May, Kate looks set to have some competition in the style stakes – and Meghan has already thrown down the style gauntlet, wearing a £56,000 Ralph & Russo dress for her engagement photos released this week.
