Kate Middleton news pregnant latest update: Is THIS a clue to the baby’s sex?

Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, has been seen in public for the first time since she announced her pregnancy.

The 35-year-old Duchess is pregnant with the third child, and the reveal was made early due to her severe morning sickness.

Kate appeared for the first time in six weeks wearing a stunning blue Temperley London dress, that cost £795.

She joined her husband Prince William at the event in honour of World Mental Health Day at Buckingham Palace.

The dress was lace and featured a black bow at the neck. The Duchess paired the look with a black clutch back and black heels.

It did not go unnoticed that Kate opted to wear blue for her first appearance, prompting some to wonder if Kate is expecting a boy.

Parents usually find out the sex of the baby at their second scan, between 16 and 20 weeks, so it is possible Kate may be sending a sign to the UK public.

However, the Duchess’ baby bump was small, and many may not have noticed her condition has official announcements not been made.

Kate’s hair looked fantastic, which could be down to pregnancy hormones affecting her thick dark hair.

Johanne Herald, Senior Master Stylist at Charles Worthington Salons explained how pregnancy affects a woman’s hair

She said: “Initially due to surges in hormones in the early stages of pregnancy women can expect to have unusually oily skin and hair, which may be credited for that ‘glow’ women can have throughout pregnancy.

“Upon reaching the second trimester this should stop or slow down.”
