Kate Middleton, 36, has recently been on her last visits in the UK whilst heavily pregnant, as she is due to give birth next month to her third child.
The new baby will join Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2, although it has yet to be revealed if it will be a boy or a girl.
She was joined by her husband Prince William, 35, at the Commonwealth Big Lunch on Thursday to help volunteers prepare meals.
Whilst talking with the workers, she admitted to doing a particular activity with her two children which many parents do.
As they made the food, she admitted: “I’ve done that with George and Charlotte – making pizza dough.”
She went on to say that they loved being able to “get their hands messy”.
It isn’t the only meal time secret the 36-year-old has admitted about her two young children.
Despite being the Queen’s grandchildren, with Prince George calling her “gan-gan”, they still have to abide to the same rules as everyone else.
According to OK.co.uk, they must not begin their meals until the Queen has begun eating.
This is also the same for when she has finished eating, meaning all members of the family must stop when she has.
Kate and William are known for taking a hands on approach when looking after their children, with them having the parenting rule that they don’t use iPads or gadgets either, and play with toys and outdoors to help encourage an “active imagination”.
It is thought that they want them to have a similar childhood to one they did before technology.
When is Kate Middleton’s third child due? It is thought to be in April as she begins her maternity leave this month.
Whilst it is not yet known what the gender of the baby is, betting has found two names to be the most popular choices.
Leading bookmaker Coral has found that Mary is the top choice for a girl at 4-1. Other baby names for a girl include Alice or Victoria, both with strong regal backgrounds.
For a boy, the name Albert currently has odds of 12–1 whilst Arthur is 12-1 also.
