The star left backstage crew in audible hysterics when she appeared on The Today Show in the US earlier this week – and cracked a cheeky sex joke.
The Wonder Woman actress was talking about being pregnant on the set of Justice League, when host Savannah Guthrie asked: “How did you do that?”
Jokily taking the question literally, Gal smiled cheekily and said: “Well… me and my husband…”
Savannah chimed in: “Gal! This is a morning show!”
Gal and the crew could then be heard laughing, as she quipped: “Big, big hug, and then the fruit of love!”
More sincerely, she added of the filming process: “It was challenging, but I wanted to have a second baby for a while. I knew that I couldn’t do it on [solo movie] Wonder Woman.
“But it was so nice to be able to share the stage with other talented, so wonderful people who helped me.
“We all carried this carriage together, it was great.”
Justice League has, despite praise for Gadot and co-star Ezra Miller, suffered a weak response from critics.
Amid mixed to negative reviews, the ever-fluctuating Rotten Tomatoes score is hovering below 50%.
Justice League is out on Friday.
