Ivanka Trump wears £1,500 white outfit to meet Kanye West with Donald at White House

Ivanka Trump, 36, was in Washington DC today, carrying out her duties as senior advisor to the president of the United States.

She was attending the annual meeting President’s Interagency Task Force (PITF) to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons.

During the meeting, Ivanka stood by her father’s side as he gave a powerful speech. Also at the meeting was rap superstar, Kanye West, who visited the White House to show his support for Donald Trump.

Beaming as her father spoke, Ivanka looked ethereal in an all-white $ 2000 Roland Mouret ensemble.

Ivanka stood proudly wearing the $ 995 tight-fitted white, textured pencil skirt and matching $ 995 top.

The skirt came to just below her knees, showing off her long, slender legs.

Matching the skirt was a peplum top, featuring a boat neckline and long sleeves.

The sleeves had unusual detailing, tight fitted around the waist and with extra material flaring out just above them.

Contrasting the heavily textured pattern of the body, the top’s sleeves were plain in pattern.

Cincing her in at the waist, Ivanka tied the outfit together with a chunky nude belt with oversized buckle.

On her feet she matched the nude belt with a pair of suede, pointed-toe stilettos in the same shade.

Her makeup also had a similar nude, beige hue, ith the “first daughter” wearing lashings of gold bronzer, nude lipstick and gold eyeshadow.

She wore her long, blonde hair parted to the side and with a sweeping side fringe. Curls of hair hung around her shoulders.

Keeping the outfit simple, she wore a classic pair of shiny pearl earrings.

In her hand she clutched a black ring binder, no doubt full of White House documents.

Ivanka also gave a speech at the meeting, taking to the podium after her father.

The mother-of-three has been spending a lot of time in White House meetings this week, following the resignation of US ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley.

Yesterday she attended the meeting where Donald accepted her resignation.

Watching from the sidelines, Ivanka looked serious and solemn as she listened in on the talks between her father and the former ambassador.

Opting for an unusual outfit choice, the first daughter, wore a cross between a formal, dark, office-like suit and a floaty summer outfit.

Keeping this more formal, she wore a heavy-looking black, buttoned-up jacket.

Ivanka Trump: Five facts about Donald Trump’s daughter

Real name

Ivanka is not, in fact, her real name. She actually shares her mother’s name Ivana.

Explaining why she is known as Ivanka in a 2010 tweet, she said: “In Czech, Ivanka is the baby name for Ivana, like Bobby is to Robert.”

TV appearances

Ivanka was well known to the American public before her father became President thanks to appearances on TV.

She made short cameos on Project Runway and Gossip Girl, as well as becoming a primary boardroom member on The Apprentice with Donald.

Wedding

Ivanka married Jared Kushner on 25 October 2009 at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, after a three-month engagement.

Barron Trump served as ring bearer, as Ivanka wore a custom Vera Wang gown accessorised with diamonds from her fine jewellery collection.

Religion

Ivanka was raised as a Presbyterian Christian, but converted to Judaism to allow her to marry Jared Kushner.

Ivanka studied with Elie Weinstock from the Modern Orthodox Ramaz School, on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City.

She now keeps kosher and observes the Jewish Sabbath. Ivanka said in the February 2015 edition of Vogue: “We’re pretty observant… It’s been such a great life decision for me… I really find that with Judaism, it creates an amazing blueprint for family connectivity.

“From Friday to Saturday we don’t do anything but hang out with one another. We don’t make phone calls.”

Career

Ivanka ran a fashion line for 11 years, only recently closing it down. She also had a fine jewellery store which closed in March 2017.

Ivanka now focuses on her role as an advisor to the President, Donald Trump.
