I’m A Celebrity 2020: Who is in this year’s I’m A Celeb? Full line-up confirmed

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! is going to kick off on Sunday, November 15, on ITV. But to get everyone in the mood for this year’s antics, tonight (Sunday, November 8) ITV is airied I’m A Celebrity…A Jungle Story where the iconic duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly take a trip down memory lane. The one-off special also revealed all of the contestants for 2020. So who are the celebrities going to be in the running for King or Queen of the Castle?

Who is in I’m A Celebrity 2020?

Vernon Kay

TV presenter Vernon Kay was the first camp mate to be revealed for this year’s I’m A Celebrity.

Best known for presenting All Star Family Fortunes as well as Formula E Racing on Channel 5, the ITV reality show will be worlds away from his comfort zone.

The star is also married to Strictly Come Dancing presenter Tess Daly.

Beverley Callard

Coronation Street legend Beverly Callard is going to be part of this year’s show after leaving the cobbles for good.

Callard portrayed former Rovers Return owner Liz McDonald for 30 years before making her exit.

So how will the 63-year-old cope with her new Welsh surroundings?

Shane Richie

Another soap star entering I’m A Celeb is none other than Shane Richie.

Richie is best known for portraying cheeky Alfie Moon on EastEnders and even dabbled in a music career when he did a charity cover of I’m Your Man for BBC Children in Need.

The next time fans will see him, Richie will be getting ready for the experience of a lifetime.

He said: “Six hundred calories a day is like a slice of cake on a Sunday. But I have got to go straight back in the West End to play a drag queen in a dress and so I will look great.

“To make the kids proud would be so nice. They were too young for the height of Alfie Moon and they have only seen daddy dressed as a drag queen.”

Hollie Arnold

One of two athletes who will be joining in on the fun is Paralympian Hollie Arnold.

She competes in category F46 javelin and has in total won seven gold medals at various events.

Will her competitive edge come out when it comes to the Bushtucker Trials?

AJ Pritchard

Former Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer AJ Pritchard is also going to be seen on our screens every night for the next few weeks.

During I’m A Celebrity…A Jungle Story, Pritchard said “his is the one show I watched as a child and wanted to do.”

So now, the 26-year-old will be living the dream from next weekend when the series begins.

Jordan North

As colleague Clara Amfo is taking part in Strictly, fellow Radio 1 DJ will be on I’m A Celeb.

North said: “I have got so many phobias and fears. I am worried I will let people down but I also want to give the trials my best go.

“I hope Radio 1 listeners will get behind me.”

Jessica Plummer

Ex-EastEnders actress Jessica Plummer is the next camp mate for I’m A Celebrity 2020.

Plummer played Chantelle Atkins who was dramatically killed off earlier this year in a domestic abuse storyline by husband Gray Atkins.

Now, she is taking a break from acting for a new adventure where she will be “pushed to my limit”.

She said: “I have got all the phobias. When my friends see me too, they are going to say ‘what the hell? This doesn’t make sense.”

“But I keep having to tell myself that it is good to face your fears.”

Giovanna Fletcher

Joining Plummer is podcast host and author Giovanna Fletcher.

Fletcher is probably also known for being the wife of McFly star Tom Fletcher and the sister of former Towie star Mario Falcone.

This time though, she will be going in it alone, entering the ITV reality series to take on petrifying challenges along with the rest of the other celebrities.

Last but certainly not least is Olympic champion Mo Farah CBE.

He is known as the most successful British track athlete in modern Olympic Games history.

Farah has won gold medals in the 2021 and 2016 Olympics in both the 5,000m and 10,000m runs.

He said:  “I’ve watched it on telly and thought to myself I would like to challenge myself and see what I can do – and so that is the whole reason behind it.”
