I'm A Celebrity 2017: DEADLY snake removed from camp 'They walk there everyday'

Medic Bob revealed that he had removed the venomous snake last week from where Ant and Dec regularly present the show from.

On the ITV2 spin-off show, I’m a Celebrity… Extra Camp, Bob confessed to leading a team into the jungle to help him keep the dangerous creature from the campers.

Speaking to presenter Scarlett Moffatt, he said: “We keep it quiet from the celebrities in camp but last week I removed a venomous brown tree snake actually climbing along the drawbridge where Ant and Dec walk every day.”

After the revelation, presenter Joe Swash made an off-camera joke abut “knowing about small-eyed snakes”, to which Bob seized the opportunity to poke fun at him.

The bearded medic quipped: “Joe knows all about small-eyed snakes!”

According to The Sun, ITV bosses sent a team to take away a venomous Australian funnel web spider from where the celebrities sleep last week.

This came after campmates were urged to be cautious of ticks that could leave them paralysed.

I’m A Celebrity is notorious for having creepy crawllies running around, but they’re normally served on a plate.

In the first eating Bushtucker Trial both Rebekah Vardy and Georgia Toffolo came face-to-face with these critters.

In fact, the pair were forced to eat five dead crickets, five cockroaches, 20 mealworms, one hawkmoth and one huntsman spider in the First Dates-style challenge.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues on ITV1 at 9pm.
