Hyundai CES 2018 live stream – How to watch new hydrogen car unveiling from CES 2018

Hyundai is set to launch itstoday at CES 2018.

The hydrogen-powered motor will be the key focus of the company’s keynote in Las Vegas.

At the technology conference the South Korean carmaker will disclose the name of its next generation Fuel Cell Vehicle.

Last week the car maker released some details about the new zero emissions vehicle and a set of images.

Hyundai teased that the car will be able to achieve over 500 miles of range from a single top up.

This is a vast improvement on electric cars, but hydrogen cars are still undermined by the lack of suitable infrastructure to encourage ownership.

A virtue of hydrogen cars, however, is that they only emit water vapour and take around the same time to refuel as a car.

According to the press release issued last week, the car will have 30 per cent higher energy density than the ix35 a previous hydrogen car from Hyundai.

It will also come with a number of driver assistance systems that will help with semi-autonomous driving.

The as-yet-unnamed fuel cell vehicle will be the first from the manufacturer to test autonomous driving systems.

From the images released last week the car seems to take on fairly conventional styling of a mid-sized SUV.

The body has smoother curves running from the front to the rear and the car adopts new design language on the grille and headlights.

The criss-cross chrome grille sits bellow slim headlights and on the side of the car the door handles sit flush against the body.

In a Facebook post the company said that it would also “Discuss how the Next Generation Fuel Cell Vehicle is the technological flagship of Hyundai’s growing eco-vehicle portfolio”

The event will be live streamed via Hyundai’s Facebook page, or you can catch the event here live from 11PM GMT.
