The new trailer sets up the expected tension between Hellboy’s attempts to do good, while mistrusted and misunderstood by almost everyone around him.
As was previously reported, it shows him leaping into action at a major crime scene, only to be fired on by officers thinking he is the enemy.
It is also undeniably spectacular with dramatic scenes featuring hellish monsters lead by Milla Jovovich’s demonic Queen Nimue.
The closing image of Hellboy with his horns aflame, wielding a fiery sword with a flaming crown hovering over his head is an absolutely gorgeous cinematic moment.
Hellboy will arrive in cinemas next April and is a completely new big screen reboot of the iconic character.
