Grammys 2018: Hillary Clinton roasts Donald Trump as she makes cameo in Fire and Fury skit

The former First Lady of the United States trolled Trump by reading extracts about him from the tell-all book Fire and Fury.

In the goofy pre-recorded skit, host James Corden auditioned a bevy of celebrities including Cher, Snoop Dogg and Cardi B to be narrators for the audio version of the book.

Prior to auditioning the stars, James noted that a number of politicians have won Grammys during the years in the Best Spoken Word Album category.

He said: “We know that our current president does love winning awards, and the good news is, he may just be the subject of next year’s winner.”

John Legend kicked off the spoof by reading aloud from the book, which received backlash from the White House when it was released earlier this month.

“Trump won’t read anything,” Legend said. “He gets up halfway through meetings with world leaders because he is bored.”

Before Cher added: “His comb-over: the colour was a product called Just for Men. The longer it was left on the darker it got.”

She was swiftly followed by Snoop Dogg, who read out a segment about Trump’s inauguration experience.

Next was rapper Cardi B, who was in complete disbelief after reading the now-notorious excerpt about the president’s alleged obsession with eating cheeseburgers in bed.

“Why am I reading this s***? Is this how he lives his life?” she questioned.

Once DJ Khaled had finished his cameo, Clinton could be seen lowering the book to reveal herself.

She read aloud: “One reason why he liked to eat McDonalds: Nobody knew he was coming and the food was safely remade.”

Live at Madison Square Garden where this year’s Grammy Awards were held, cackling could be heard from the star-studded audience after Hillary made her appearance.

Viewers at home were also thrilled with her performance, with one writing on Twitter: “Yesss @HillaryCliton get that #SpokenWord #Grammys.”

Another added: “P.S: @HillaryCliton you are a GODDESS #Grammys,” while a third posted: “OMG Hillary Clinton reading Fire and Fury on the Grammys is everything! So good.”

Other weren’t so impressed with her appearance, with one raging: “This is EXACTLY why I didn’t watch the #Grammys. The politics. Hillary lost, go away.”
