GQ awards 2018: Worst dressed celebrities including Rita Ora and Caroline Flack

The GQ Men of the Year Awards are taking place in London tonight, recognising inspirational men and women of the last 12 months.

Held at the Tate Modern, the 21st iteration of the awards saw Hollywood actors, pop stars, politicians, designers and tv personalities in attendance.

Some were dressed to the nines, the epitome of timeless glamour and elegance, others didn’t quite get the memo.

One A-lister who didn’t quite impress in the style stakes is actress Kate Beckinsale.

Known as one of the most beautiful and stylish women in the world, the actress channelled Liz Hurley in a skin-baring, multi-coloured kaftan-style dress.

Leaving little to the imagination, the dress was more akin to a kaftan than red carpet attire.

With her millions of fans, passion for fashion and seriously stylish social accounts, Caroline Flack was expected to be the picture of GQ charm.

However, the 38-year old presenter donned an unusual, zebra-print mini dress that just slightly missed the mark.

Despite this she seemed happy as she posed for pictures with rapper Professor Green.

Also opting for animal print was singing sensation Dua Lipa, who chose a one-shoulder leopard print dress for the occasion.

Bunched at the neck and around her waist, the dress did little to convey Dua’s stylish image, appearing to be made of a velvet material.

Possibly preparing for her upcoming stint on the Strictly dance floor this Saturday, Katie Piper went for the 1970s Saturday Night Fever look in an orange sequin jumpsuit.

The philanthropist and former model’s quirky outfit choice also featured cutaways at the shoulder and a lot of excess material, swamping her tiny frame.

Known for her daring sense of style, Rita Ora may have overdone it this time, as she hit the red carpet in a black an silver mesh-like garment.

Piles of ruffles came together to create the see-through look, with Rita’s lingerie and black suspenders visible underneath the dress.

Also opting for black and lots of skin, fashion model Lady Mary Charteris showed off her midriff in a very 90s style trouser suit and bra ensemble.

She wore the velvet blazer open, exposing her strapless bra and toned tummy.

Not letting the ladies take all the worst dressed credit, rapper Professor Green donned an eyesore of a camouflage suit.
